• Tatiana (9/5): Truly unique stay in the museum with amazing owner - An amazing family museum where you can stay overnight, filled with historic artefacts and stories. The owner gave us a wonderful tour, which made the experience even more special. We stayed in an incredible room furnished with antique Bavarian furniture, and in the morning I felt a little like a princess. Mari, the owner, is an extraordinary person — a scientist, PhD, artist, and musician — and we had the most wonderful conversations with her in the kitchen.

С такими людьми хочется открываться в ответ и делиться добром Я остановилась всего на две ночи и даже этого короткого промежутка хватило, чтобы проникнуться уютной атмосферой и невероятной историей дома! У меня даже была экскурсия, в ходе которой Маринэ рассказывала историю семейных реликвий, за что я отдельно благодарна! Мы пили чай и много разговаривали на самые разные темы, даже квантовую физику затронули! Поэтому от всего сердца рекомендую путешественникам остановиться в Kutaisi Family Museum ☺️

• Cristian (10/5): The best guesthouse experience in my life - What I experienced in this house with Mari and her daughter Tuti was the closest thing to coming back home after many years away. I feel deeply moved and profoundly grateful to both of them for opening their home and hosting me with such love, kindness, warmth, and generosity. During those days we talked about literature, world languages, cultures, cinema, politics, cooking, and the sheer wonder of being alive in this world. And that’s without even mentioning that thw house itself is a true dream. You can hardly believe the amount of art preserved there, passed down through generations, making the house feel like a living museum. The room was excellent: spacious, so comfortable, and so clean. But above all, what I will carry with me from this experience is the incredible friendship of Mari and Tuti. When I left in the taxi and saw them waving from the window, I was certain I would see them again. Hopefully very soon! Staying at Mari’s house with her and Tuti might just be one of the best guesthouse experiences you’ll ever have.

Имейте в виду, что отель расположен в частном секторе, примерно в 15 минутах пешком от центра города. Кроме того, ванная комната и туалет не в номере, а за его пределами.

• Jonathan (9/5): A slice of Georgian splendour in Kutaisi - Beautiful and characterful place to stay whilst in Kutaisi. Rooms very spacious and facilities very good. Price is very good for what you get! Nothing to note, slightly out of centre but a minor point here
• SIYAN (7/5): - Warm and generous hosts, they offered us watermelon on a hot summer day and chatted with us about the history of the house. The common bathroom was pretty dirty, especially the sink area. There wasn't a lock for the bedroom we booked, and the bedroom was at the entrance of the house, which also always had its door open, I would feel a bit uncomfortable if traveling solo.

• Nihan (10/5): A real museum indeed! - This guesthouse was one of the reasons I wanted to go to Kutaisi and I was not wrong. Just starting in this amazing historical house and having conversation with the landlady was worth the travel. The house, as it is called, is really a museum filled with antiques from all over the world. The owner speaks very well English and presented us every object with its history, it was like a free guided tour inside. The garden is also adorable. It is very well located and we easily walked everywhere (and also bolt work very well if needed). As the big room was not booked, we had a free upgrade and felt like members of the royal family in that room. The bathroom just outside of the room was crystal clean and the kitchen too. Our 2 nights stay was like a time travel experience, we enjoyed a lot our stay thanks to the warm welcome and interesting conversations.

The property itself was an art— there is art all over, and every where you go is as interesting as a museum itself. My room was also cheap and yet it’s spacious and big enough for me. The location is good for me, if you want to roam around, you can book a taxi and it’s 2-3 GEL from this place to the center. My overall stay has been amazing! At the end of my stay, I have gained a friend and family with Mari & Tuti, and I will definitely come back here again.
• Lancelot (10/5): Super helpful and kind hosts, calm neighbourhood and comfy bed! - The hosts : I arrived super early in the morning and my flight was delayed, but yet my host was awake waiting for me 🙏🏻 she even kindly let me know that I could sleep over the check out hour so I would have more than 6 hours of sleep, which I’m very grateful for!! We managed to communicate mixing the few languages we both know and her daughter was very helpful and helped it that as well when we got stuck on a word :) The place : It’s so mysterious, magical and calm, walking around those antiques… I’m gonna book this place again when I’m back!

• Tim (10/5): Exceptional - I had a wonderful time in Kutaisi thanks to Mari and her daughter Tuti, who made me feel really welcome, and they offer a truly unique experience by sharing their Georgian history as well as their own family history in a most generous way. They also treated me to all kinds of delightful homemade delicacies, and they really make you feel like a family member. I usually stay at hotels, but I saw this on Bookings and was intrigued and I’m glad I booked this. I’d love to visit again! If you don’t feel comfortable staying in someone’s home, then this place might not be for you, but that’s probably rather self-evident.

It was like I was immediately part of the family. I don't think I have ever been received so warm and kind as by this family. Especially as a solo female traveller, I felt safe and welcomed. I can't wait to go back. Next time I will definitely be staying here again. That I couldn't stay longer.

The owners, Marine and her daughter, Tuti are very welcoming, caring and multi-talented people. Most of the paintings and sculptures you see in the Guest House were made by them. Very attractive and impressive! As regards to the bedroom, the bed was very comfortable with new mattress and bed linens. Very tasty breakfast was served by the hostess in a very beautiful dining room. Very good location: It takes only 10-12 minutes to walk to the center of Kutaisi. If you need a guided tour, Tuti can give a very good guidence about Kutaisi and surroundings.

Living rooms are renovated and beautiful. ▫️An excellent intelligent creative family, they draw,make something. ▫️Convenient location between the airport and the city center. You can go to the center by Bolt (mobile app) for a few minutes, its very cheap, about 1€. ▫️ Two wi-fi networks. ▫️ Very tasty homemade Georgian food.

They really thrive to improve their guesthouse. The breakfast was tasty and filling and the guesthouse is amazing! Only thing I can think of to improve is more comfortable bed :) Otherwise everything was great!
