• Rebecca (8/5): Convenient friendly affordable stay in a good location. - Everything went smoothly - checking in and out etc. Everything was much as described. Paul was friendly and I soon felt relaxed and secure. Great to have the shared kitchen and be able to help yourself to breakfast, and to have tea / coffee in the room.

• Dean (9/5): Comfy, cosy, and clean, with great service and attention to detail. - Very friendly owner. Clean rooms and facilities. Kitchen and dining area were impeccable, with free drinks and food offered (I don't drink, but can see the value for others). There's a little shop just around the corner (less than a minute away). The little things like a box of earplugs (individually sealed) shows a lot of thought has gone into the customer experience. Price is a little high for a shared bathroom (though bathroom was clean and had toiletries). Room could've done with a shelf or two, or table, to put things on. Room has a few defects in wall that could be plastered up (but these are minor and are only mentioned because of the price). Floorboards are very noisy, but earplugs are provided.

And Paul was there to greet me My bed was comfy I slept well over my 2 night stay it was on a weekend the neighbourhood was very quiet considering you have a nice local pub at top of street. ide stay there again was good value for Money it was clean and modern 😀 It’s was mostly male occupancy when I stayed there but felt safe and well looked after but another female would have balanced it out as I’m a solo travel.but it’s just your luck when you book
• Nnenna (9/5): Great and quite comfortable - The location is great. Close to bus stops and a short ride away from the city centre. The property was very clean and tidy. It's a two storey townhouse with two rooms each on the first and second floor. The ground floor has the kitchen and dining room. It's renovated so facilities are modern and in good condition. The water pressure in the handheld shower was not great. Was a bit of a struggle showering in the morning. Otherwise, I was quite happy with the facilities.

• Helen (10/5): A home from home - A home from home. Paul was a fantastic host, everything you could wish for was provided - if you happened to need something (I didn't) I'm positive he would sort it. Clean fresh bedding, soft fresh towels, a gazillion toiletries, teas/coffees, hairdryer, straighteners, iron, brekkie - it was all there. I stayed a week and had many friendly chats with Paul, as a solo traveller those interactions were nice. Numerous food outlets, supermarkets, shops, a pub etc on your doorstep. I chose the location as I wanted the exercise into the city centre everyday, but for those not a fan of walking the 30 minutes into town fear not you can catch a bus from just outside. Plus there is a taxi depot just around the corner.

Facilities and presentation of room very good. Host was very welcoming and the set up for self service breakfast exceeded my expectations.

• Peiyao (10/5): Exceptional - The room is clean and tidy, equipped with a refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, hair straightener, and an extra small bed (which can be used as a sofa). The sharing bathroom is also very clean and with all the stuffs you may need. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, tableware, and even free milk, bread, eggs, and seasonings. Both the host and other guests are very friendly. The property is conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and a supermarket nearby. It's in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood. The room’s soundproofing is a bit lacking, but it’s not a big issue as long as guests remain quiet. The hot water supply in the bathroom is not too consistent.

• Jay (10/5): An enjoyable weekend. - Very much enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and cosy and the bathroom was very well maintained. Enjoyed talking to the host who knows a lot about the local history including the turbulent times and was very friendly and knowledgeable. About 25 minutes walk to city centre or can take plenty of buses. I'll definitely come back to Belfast after lovely time and plenty more things I would like to explore in this friendly city. All fine.

It was a great help having access to kitchen and laundry facilities. The rooms were clean and neat. The neighbor was friendly and the neighborhood was family orientated.

I would give this place a 13. a 17. maybe a 20... literally Paul does absolutely everything right. He doesn't offer breakfast but leaves you eggs and cereal and tuna.. And a bunch of other stuff you can make your own. Kevin The bathroom has everything you can need from mouthwash to girly necessities 😉 even had a flat iron in the bedroom. might curl about freaked out... The bedroom the guy puts memory foam mattresses in his rooms. who does that? I'll tell you who does that. Paul. everything was exceptional. our room was a bit cold. he gave us a great heater. it was perfect all night. You walk in? there's biscoff cookies on your pillow. I mean come on... You're not giving me a chance here. absolutely a win-win from start to finish. love this place 100% would have stayed longer 100%. if we go back we will be staying here again. 100% to you. if you find an opening at this place book it. lock it up. go. Oh yeah, even has Netflix on the TVs in the bedrooms. I mean again, I can't think of anything negative and I just keep thinking of more positives... • Jason (10/5): Lovely Place - A lovely place to stay on the Antrim Road and easy to find, although roughly a 35 minute walk from Great Victoria Street. I stayed in the single room and it was perfect and had a great sleep for the two nights I was there. Has kitchen and laundry facilities, but you can also grab a takeaway from the many takeaways in the area and have it in the eating area. Paul is a top notch host, friendly and very helpful and welcoming. Waterworks are just across the road and buses to Belfast Castle, Belfast Zoo and Cave Hill Country Park from here also. A great place to stay. Thanks again Paul.

• Alborough (10/5): Great stay in Belfast. - Everything was organized, clean and efficient. Early bag drop-off arrangement was of great help in what we planned. Shops and ATM close by, and the wifi worked well. Meals were easy with a very well equipped kitchen and dining room with cutlery, crockery, condements a complimentary breakfast options. Paul was very friendly and helpful. The position is well serviced by a close by bus stop and taxis were economical for getting around.

• Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Paul was so nice and helpful! While he didn't make breakfast he provided eggs, milk, cereal, and more to make your own breakfast in the kitchen! The room was a bit small with the luggage but the bed was comfy and had everything you needed and more! In the shared bathroom he provided tons of soap and shampoo and more. The house is an old one, so there is a bit of creaking and noise but the guests were all very kind and quiet! I would recommend staying here!

Could not shut the window in the room, so it was a tad chilly, but there was a portable heater provided which helped.
