Guest Reviews
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Exteamly clean and modern
Well situated
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (3/5): Musty smell and old fashioned decor - Useful location There was a horrible musty smell all over the house, noticeable even from bed, really unpleasant. Mould inside one of the wardrobes. Kitchen cupboard handles were sticky. Old fashioned decor, very evidently the property hasn’t been refreshed. Overpriced for these conditions, was happy to only have to stay one night.

- Bartosz (8/5): It was a nice weekend. I'm glad I found this hous on booking.com - Comfortable sofas, dining room with large table, garden. no wifi
- Richard (1/5): not good. i would like a refund. - there was NO wifi. there was an ant nest in my bedroom including flying ants. the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. the door to the dining room could not be opened from the inside. there's more...

- Donna (5/5): Could be lovely. - Location was good, could be such an amazing place
Lovely large and fluffy towels
Clean bathroom The double beds were or did not seem to be a full double more like a 3/4 so small for two people and cramped
House smelt damp, and musty mould in the back bedroom above the window. Went to hang up my dress but mould in wardrobe so didn’t bother.
There were little black things that formed on the window sill, in the back bedroom we wiped them off on arrival but they kept reappearing .
Kitchen floor was Not clean, crumbs by the skirting board.
No bulb in the bedside lamp in back bedroom
No plug in the bathroom sink
Some mini shampoo and soap was left in shower but these had been half used.
Cutlery draw was dirty ( so didn’t really want to use cultlety ( washed all dishes and cutlery before use )
Entrance to house had weeds all over drive and grass in garden long but owner did let me know that the Gardner had had his tools pinched.
We left on Saturday night as no one slept the first night.

Uber into town was good value and only 20mins
Location was in a good area. Good shower. Beds were not comfortable and the general state of cleanliness was below expectation.
Communication regarding key code could have been better and created un-certainty around the plans for our day.

- Claire (10/5): Excellent house, lots of room, great service from the hosts and house was very clean - Clean and well equipped, great house with lots of space and very clean.
The hosts were very accommodating and answered any questions very quickly The one and only negative thing was that I couldn’t find an iron and ironing board but after checking it wasn’t listed as one of the facilities so that was my own fault!
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good - The place was in a great location, it was especially clean, it was a real home from home experience everything that was provided was of very good quality. We are grateful of how you guys went above and beyond to provide everything for our stay, in the future we will be thinking in coming back again. And thank you again for such a lovely experience. Nothing, everything was lovely, indoors and outdoors.
- Damon (10/5): Superb property could not ask for more. - My colleague and I needed somewhere last minute whilst working away and Paul immediately rushed to the property for us to ensure everything was prepared. He was incredibly helpful, polite and genial. The property was spotless, comfortable and felt very safe and secure. The photos are accurate and everything was great. There was nothing which either I or my colleague disliked. He said he had slept better there than at home.
- Christine (10/5): Highly recommend this place as so comfortable & pristine clean with everything you need. - Everything brand new & perfect, I could happily live here forever.A very comfortable stay with everything provided, even tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Liked everything as it is perfection
- Lisa (10/5): I came down last mintue for my bros memorial and it was ideal right where my family live and I'd definitely will wan - Everything I needed and more thank you I would of stayed an extra night if you had it free It's perfect
- Anonymous (10/5): Really amazing value for money. We will absolutely be staying again! - It is such a deceptively large space! Perfect for what we needed, literally couldn’t fault it.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - The bungalow was lovely, even better than the photos on the site. Very spacious and very clean. Good quality linen and towels are supplied and the rooms are all bright and airy. The kitchen is fully equipped so we were able to cook meals rather than eat out every night. It has a lovely garden plus a patio area. A perfect base from which the explore the local area. My husband is disabled but was able to get around without any problems as was my 83 year old mum. Much better than booking into a hotel as we originally intended and half the price. It gave us the freedom to relax in a homely environment. We met Paul who was exceptionally helpful. We were visiting our son, daughter in law and grandson and will definitely be booking again. Nothing we didn't like but just a suggestion. Some place mats for the dining room would be helpful. Other than that it was perfect.
