- Koen (8/5): Absolutely a hidden gem! - The staff was super friendly! The owner was always willing to help us, from helping with a flat tire to providing a free bananas or a drink. The rooms are simple but beautifully built with native materials. Also everything is very clean and well maintained. The wifi was excellent throughout the whole place also! The location is just outside the buzzing area in port Parton and everything is walking distance away. Breakfast is simple but yet very tasty with options for local food or European breakfast. There is free clean drinking water available also. I felt really at home there, thanks to the great staff and the great location were you can sleep in silence and yet be short distance away from were it all happens. I would recommend this place to couples who want a comfortable home close to everything but yet a calm place were you can rest!

- Cynthia (9/5): Nous étions logés au Petit Oiseau - Séjour fantastique au Dream Resort ! Le propriétaire s’occupe vraiment bien de ses clients et s’assure que tout se passe parfaitement pendant le séjour. Nous étions logés au Petit Oiseau et la literie était extrêmement confortable — la plus confortable de tous nos séjours aux Philippines ! Port Barton est un endroit très tranquille, parfait pour se détendre et relaxer. Un excellent endroit pour décrocher et profiter du calme. Merci pour ce beau séjour !

Eau chaude pour la douche, petit en-cas au matin, chambre grande, propre avec Clim et moustiquaire de princesse. Le propriétaire nous a même déposé en voiture au terminal gratuitement. Je recommande fortement pour le rapport qualité prix qui est raisonnable

De bjöd på chips och öl när vi kom, hade varm dusch som man delade och det var massa söta katter på boendet haha! De fixade vidare en buss till oss till El Nido som var vår nästa destination och körde oss till busstationen och visade vilken buss det var men vägrade ta emot dricks för det. Fantastisk service! Fantastiskt boende med snällaste personalen! Tack! Inget! Allt var precis vad vi önskade.

- Caitlyn (10/5): Must stay here!! - Everything! Eugene and the girls were lovely and couldn’t do more to help! They offered us fresh fruit and drinks everyday, and picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal free of charge and also helped with the bags. The room is basic but comfortable, there is no hot water in the rooms but there is a communal hot shower that guests can use. The location is great, although the road is quite bumpy but it’s a short walk into the main area so not a problem!

- Marija (7/5): für das was geboten wird, definitiv für das Land und die Umgebung zu teuer - ruhige, aber dennoch zentrale Lage einige Angaben der Unterkunft waren nicht korrekt: es gibt keinen Pool noch Strandliegen (es gab ein kleines Wasserbecken, dass gegen Aufpreis von 3.000pesos befüllt werden kann); es werden keine Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt; innerhalb von 5Tagen wurde nicht einmal das Zimmer gereinigt, obwohl tägliche Reinigung versprochen wurde; es gehört unbedingt klar ersichtlich gemacht, dass die Bäder im Zimmer nur mit Kaltwasser ausgestattet sind - wir buchen immer mit eigenem Bad, jedoch war dieses Bad für uns so nicht zum verwenden; es gibt lediglich eine Warmwasserdusche für die gesamte Unterkunft, was für die Menge an Gästen zu wenig ist; der Wasserdruck ist miserabel, speziell in dem Bädern im Zimmer (zb. Waschbecken); wir hatten keinen Ventilator im Zimmer, die Klimaanlage haben wir nach der ersten Nacht nicht mehr verwendet, da wir beide eine Verkühlung (oder etwas Bakterielles durch die Klimaanlage eingefangen haben); die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig

- Daria (6/5): Do przeżycia - Dobra lokalizacja, całkiem przyjemnie na zewnętrz resortu, dosyć zadbanie Pomimo uprzedzeń, że może być głośno, bo to jest bambus, to jest naprawdę głośno i ciężko wypocząć - słychać każdy krok, każdą rozmowę Pomimo wyboru pokoju z prywatną łazienką, za wiele to nie dało, bo ciepła woda i tak jest tylko na zewnątrz oraz ciśnienie wody w pokoju jest masakryczne Pościel brudna, warto też pod szafkami posprzątać Właściciel niby uśmiechnięty, ale dużo sztuczności w tym Zgłaszałam, że w nocy nie ma wody, a właściciel sie pyta mnie „why” Pewnie dlatego, że ją na noc wyłącza - nie wiem, ale po północy już nie mozna było nawet rąk umyć Po 2 dniach przestaliśmy chodzić na śniadania, bardzo biedne i nie są super smaczne Do kawy dodawane mleko w proszku, po którym miałam problemy żołądkowe WiFi działa tragicznie

- Guilio (7/5): Nice people, low (red) water pressure - Very nice staff. And the bamboo huts are nice and traditional. The breakfast with coffee is simple but nice. Port Barton is a great place to stay. The water pressure in our hut was really really low. Sometimes even only a drop, when mentioned to the owner he said because the other huts use the water the pressure drops. We used the common showers where the pressure was better but not nice when you pay extra for a private bathroom.. On the second day the water turned completely brown and smelled like rust. Apparently this is common in the area but our nails also got red/orange the owner never saw this happen. Also light clothing gets stains on it.. (it does wash out) Hopefully he can get the water situation better soon, if so this is a great place to stay.

- Zyrian (8/5): Its a pretty good descent safe area - The owner and staff are extremely nice and friendly. Very accomodating. We love the breakfast noodles made by the owner. The water smells rusty, but the staff did informed us from the start the the water isn’t good as its been raining for days.

Felt like at home - We like everything, especially the hoste who was super kind :) we really appreciate the warm welcome and all the advices he gave us during our trip in Port Barton. He also propose to pick up the client at the entry of Port Barton, which was really convenient. The property was very clean including the room and the restroom. Nothing !

- Mark (5/5): Ok stay for last minute playing by ear but would look elsewhere. - I liked the daughter of the owner. She was very helpful and down to earth. Our toilet smelt bad and had yellow water. Water from shower was minimal but it was expected being in a more remote town. The hotel had limited to no food options though staff gave us instant coffee and fruit every morning - the fruit may not have been the cleanest though. The room was empty, no drawers or shelves; nothing to hang anything up on besides outside. The laundry service may have made our clothes dirtier though they didn't smell as bad, but the owner provided it to us free of charge.

Zufahrtstrasse in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Bis jetzt schlechtestes Hotel auf den Philippinen. Dieses Hotel ist etwas für Abenteuerer. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist katastrophal.

- Manon (10/5): Amazing stay with an amazing host - Eugene, our host was amazing. He did a lot more that he has to do. We also could rent a motorbike for a really good price. He also let us use his hot tub and was very friendly and available at all time. The location is just between the cute village and the beaches, so that was all just a walk or motorcycle away.

The owner is very concerned about cleanliness, penalties for damages (dirty towels or bedding) taking off shoes flip-flops in the shower. Unfortunately, He forgot to disinfect the mattresses, the whole family was bitten by bedbugs that were in the mattress. I honestly don't recommend it

My partner and I stayed here for four nights and we couldn't have picked a better accomodation to suit our needs. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything is made out of natural materials: wood, bamboo and stone. Bathroom is very clean and hygenic. The resort is located away from the noisy tourist area, but easy to walk when you want to join the party. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. I would stay here again in the future.

When I checked out, the owner was not busy and took me to where I needed to be in town. Electricity was out until 11pm. Glad to get it so the AC could cool the room so I could sleep.

- Aeylin (9/5): Superb - Very kind and frinedly, the host offered to pick me up from the terminal station , and also could seal the deal with him about some activities , I wasn't feeling well, and the staff really took care of me. They checked my temperature and made sure I had everything I needed.. And also helped me with transfer to El nido Thank you.
- Bethany (9/5): Superb - Owner, Eugene, is extremely accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, house made udon noodles with egg and great coffee. Unlimited bananas and filtered drinking water. Bed was comfy, AC worked very well. Great location. One shared shower with hot water, but did not work while we were there.
- Sergei (9/5): Original guesthouse in a quiet location with excellent staff - Original design of the guesthouse Wonderful staff: Miss Vanj kept treating me to delicious coconut juice and giving me helpful recommendations and Mr (the owner) kindly gave me a lift to the bus station. Sanitary facilities in some rooms are outside the room

- Gary (7/5): Good accomodation with great staff but the noise ruins it - Staff and location are great. Facilities aren't the best with lack of hot water. The noise is the main issue, you hear the bass from the music played at a bar down the street until around 12am and if it isn't that it's the dogs fighting or cockerels having a singing competition at all hours. Also the construction work starts early and the sounds mixed with the smell of cigarettes coming into your room isn't ideal at 8am

- Aleksandra (7/5): Comfortable room but needs some improvement - The rooms were lovely and comfortable and with the balcony, hammock, and desk, it was everything I wanted out of a room. The shower situation was probably my biggest issue. The bathrooms are shared, which is totally fine, but there were only two really private showers and those were cold, and the one hot shower was an outdoor shower that was directly in front of reception. So while you were covered with curtains, it didn’t feel very private. Also, the whole area seems to be under constriction and because the rooms don’t have a lot of sound insulation, every morning I was woken up by the sounds of construction. Finding staff at reception at breakfast time was also hit or miss, so a couple of mornings I didn’t get breakfast because I couldn’t find any staff.
