• Tandi (10/5): This is an absolute gem, and we will definitely be back. - Perfect location for getting to the slopes - a short 50m walk to the main gondola. Breakfast had traditional Japanese and Western options with slight daily variations. The room was excellent. Spacious and clean. Lots of amenities (coffee, tea, milk, toiletries, slippers) are provided. Easy to use laundry and very convenient dry room to store wet boots and clothes, making them nice and toasty the next morning when hitting the slopes. On-site private onsen. It was absolutely perfect - we did not visit any other onsens in the town as the private one cannot be beaten. Having to come home.

The breakfasts were excellent and very filling, and the location is unbeatable if you are going up to the ski hill. The private onsens were out favourite part, other than the wonderfully kind and helpful owners.

The facilities and amenities were exceptional. It is placed in a very convenient location right next to one of the main gondolas. The breakfast was delightful and such a great way to start the day. The best part was the private bath, such a relaxing experience. We will definitely be staying here again when we are back in Nozawaonsen.

Right near the slopes. Food- wow, incredible dinner. Breakfast good selection. Very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were great. Private onsen was amazing after a long day at the snow. We’ll definitely be back. The shared shower was the only bad thing about it.

The owners were very communicative and lovely; they provided helpful tips and travel logistics. The facility was clean, tidy and well maintained. The homemade breakfast was tasty, well-balanced and nourishing, a highlight of the stay. Signing up for the private baths was easy. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

• 陳 (10/5): 如果以後還有機會再來滑雪，我還是會住這間 - 環境非常乾淨，共用浴室也是超乾淨，房間地板連灰塵都沒有，還有溫泉可以泡，還有乾燥室，洗衣機，烘乾機...只要你想得到的東西，他們都有，服務也非常好，闆娘非常有耐心也很輕切， 順帶一提，他們的吹風機我覺得超好用，離開之後免稅商店買了三支回台灣 希望早餐還能有更多輕食可以選擇，例如蛋餅 煎培根 三明治 炸物 紅茶等等，以上只是我自己個人偏愛的食物，整體來說早餐還是非常好吃，尤其是太陽蛋 烘蛋 麵包 有一點可以加強就是枕頭裡的棉花希望可以飽滿一點，兩顆墊太高一顆又太平，前面四天都沒辦法一覺到天亮，只有最後一天墊了兩條毛巾，半夜才沒有一直醒來，有點可惜

• Marc (8/5): Will go back. - The hosts were very helpful. The property was super close to the ski lifts, so it was an easy 2 minute (max) walk to the Nagasaka Gondola. The rooms were spacious and as a bonus, had an extending cloths line and a humidifier. We liked having a private toilet. The property onsens were nice and clean. Breakfast was simple, but all you need for the start of your day. Although we didn’t access it, there was a microwave which would come in handy for families or others who want to heat up dinner instead of going out to eat all the time. They also provided toiletries: body wash, wash sponge, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton buds, hair bands and brush…Also available to borrow were other things like power adapters, nail clippers, etc. The beds were a bit hard and the 2 pillows were either too hard or too soft.

Die Reservierung zur Nutzung der privaten Onsen erfolgt täglich über eine Liste in der man sich selbst einträgt, was es sehr zugänglich macht. Die Nähe zur Skipiste ist nahezu ungeschlagen. Bietet alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt.

It’s at the top of a hill which makes going out with a toddler challenging, breakfast was pretty basic and didn’t add value to the stay.

The hot baths after a days' skiing are AMAZING. The location of the guesthouse - right next to the main lifts and a short walk into town for restaurants etc couldn't have been better. And Nozawa Onsen was just perfect for us - the village is typically Japanese with so many options for meals. The scenery amazing. The best five days of our whole stay in Japan.

Facilities were great and the private onsens were great after a long day skiing. The lodge is pretty much a ski in ski out. Its just a short walk from the ski storage room at the accomodation to the snow. Breakfast was great. Room was perfect, clean and spacious. I wish I could rate this accomodation higher than a 10. Was genuinely incredible and for a very fair price. Thank you for such a great stay. I will be back!

• Katherine (10/5): Everything you need for a holiday on the slopes. - The hosts were very friendly and worked hard to keep this accommodation clean and in good order. The room was modern and quite large. The proximity to the gondola was fantastic. I liked being able to book the traditional bathing facilities for private use. Having a warm soak at the end of the day was very relaxing. It was useful to have a fridge and kettle in the room, with communal microwave to prepare snacks / instant meals when I didn't feel like going out for dinner. Everything was great. I didn't have the provided breakfast as I like a slow start to my day and breakfast ended at 9am.
• Sophie (10/5): A perfect ski home away from home - Right next to the Nagasaka gondola, Tamayura is perfectly placed. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, and made us a simple but delicious breakfast (much better than many other ski lodges we have stayed in) each morning. The private baths were also excellent after a hard day’s skiing - I would recommend this place to everyone. Nothing :)

The room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable & the onsen was lovely! Breakfast was also delicious and location couldn’t have been better! No complaints at all!
• John (9/5): Loved our stay, will definitely stay again! - Fantastic location at the foot of the Nagasaka Gondola, wonderful hosts who really look after their guests, Kazu and Kana really made us feel at home from when they picked us up from the bus terminal to dropping us off! The room was spacious and cosy and the bed was comfy, there was also a choice of pillow depending on your need! Good selection of western and Japanese food for brekky and the dining area was really cosy, a great to spot to watch the snow falling and check the snow conditions from. We loved loved the in-house onsens which you can privately book, they were so relaxing and therapeutic after skiing all day! Would definitely stay again! About the only thing that would make the property even better would be a private shower however the shared facilities were always clean and available when needed and as said the onsens were outstanding!

The only thing that in my opinion left something to be desired was the lack of private showers in the rooms. Nevertheless the shared shower was always clean and cozy.

I wish every place I stayed was so welcoming!

• YUN CHU (10/5): 離纜車站超近，乾淨又舒適的滿分住宿 - 滿分的住宿!!! 老闆與老闆娘都好親切。位置離長坂纜車站只需步行約1分鐘，裝潢氛圍令人舒適放鬆，每個角落都好乾淨。房內的空間很大，床非常好睡；插座的配置很人性化、Wifi速度很快，房內還有晾衣繩對於滑雪的人來說好方便。自助式早餐品項不多但非常新鮮美味。澡堂採用預約登記的方式，另外還有一間全天開放的淋浴室。入住前會主動聯繫，確認何時需到中央巴士站接送，真的好貼心(但需注意有些時段因為房務而無法提供接送)。 Wonderful stay! The owner provides pick-up service from the central bus station(but not all-day, pls check in advance). • jill (8/5): Great location, great place, great people who speak good English. - The location is tremendous as you can easily walk to the ski lifts with ski boots on. Parking was available if you have a car. Restaurants are near by. The people who run the joint are soooo nice and helpful. It’s cute to see their kids on the premises. Really clean and orderly. The breakfast was amazing. Our room, #102. which is on the bottom floor (no window, so kind of cavesque) was very noisey due to the location right next to the onsen and the sliding door (which is one of the two entries). However, most rooms are upstairs so this would not be a problem. Just this one economy room.

It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and loo - Oyado Tamayura was only a 1 minute walk to the chair lift and gondolas and was truly ski in ski. There are two Onsen that you can book out so couples and families can use them privately which was great. We had breakfast included every morning which had a great selection of food options which was handy as finding gluten free food in Japan can be tricky, so having this as a quick and easy option allowed us to get up the mountain quicker without having to go and find breakfast. The staff at Oyado Tamayura were very helpful with all our questions and made us feel very welcome and comfortable for our stay. The whole property was kept super clean and stocked with anything you may need. We didn’t have any issues with our stay and will definitely be back.
