• Liane (7/5): - The location was perfect. Right downtown by so many restaurants. Has a gym so that was nice. Only thing was that they were quick to answer emails before checking in. There were no problems getting into the apartment. Everything was fine. Just that the host didnt respond when I asked about the laundry.
• Brandon (8/5): Great location for a great value - We loved the location and size of the apartment. We appreciated the two towels left on the bed for us to use. Picking up the key at the restaurant two blocks over was very easy. It was everything we needed. The kitchen and washroom could use a deeper clean, but it was not horrible. The heat was on very high when we arrived, but we turned it down and opened windows. Other reviews mention how hot the apartment was, but it was not horrible with the windows open and fan on. We weren't the ones paying the bill!

• Aseel (4/5): Not worth the price - The location of the apartment was wonderful. The view was absolutely beautiful however when it came to the inside of the apartment, It was very dirty and the furniture were very old and worn out. It just seemed like whatever mess the people before us left was never cleaned and used stuff left behind from previous visitors that were dirty and old. I spend the first day of my stay cleaning the apartment just to feel comfortable enough sleeping in it. I even went out and brought cleaning supplies,sanitizers, new bed sheets, and pillows cases . I had also brought enough groceries and food for the 7 days that I was staying but the morning after when I woke up I found Ants all over the food that I left in the microwave and closed counters on the counter I had to throw everything out and no matter how much I cleaned the counters there would be ants again after 5 mins. The fridge and the freezers smelled so bad like it had never been clean before so whatever I put in them started to smell too. There was even Ants in the bathroom! It was 2 people staying in the apartment so one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever! It also seemed like the wall connecting to the fire place in the balcony kept letting cold air in because it was falling apart which was freezing since I staying here 12/30-1/5. Very Disappointed because this Airbnb had so much potential because of the amazing view and how convenient the location is. Not clean, ants everywhere, and old furniture

• Estefania (1/5): DO NOT BOOK! The host cancelled the night of my reservation. I was never refunded. - I am very disappointed. After the reservation was made and payment was completed, the host cancelled my reservation the night I was supposed to arrive. I contacted the property owner to make sure that I would be refunded. They told me that they were going to cancel it on their end and that I would not be charged. I had to drive back home and was told that I would be refunded. I contacted Booking. Booking had to get confirmation from the property owner to accept the refund. The property owner never confirmed that they cancelled. I was charged full price. I didn't stay at the property. I was told I would be refunded. Booking did not refund my money. Property owner lied about confirming their own cancellation so I would get refunded. They kept my payment that was done through Booking. Very disappointed with Booking.com as they would allow this scam.

• Kristina Veronika (3/5): - Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist schön. Allerdings gibt es keinerlei Balkonmöbel. Das ist die schmutzigste Unterkunft, in der ich jemals war; es ist ekelhaft!! Zudem war es eisig kalt, da sich eines der Fenster aufgrund der Klimaanlage nicht richtig schließen lässt. Darüber hinaus ist es sehr hellhörig, man hört viele Geräusche von draußen und aus den umliegenden Wohnungen.

• Ron (9/5): Great location for a very reasonable price. - I stayed here because the location is in the heart of downtown in a historic building. The bed was super comfortable and the view was great.The apartment was clean and they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Picking up the keys at Yumi Burger was very easy, but some could find it a bit weird.

No reception, keys has to b collected from 400 M far from place, not enough instructions given how to find and enter in the Apt building.. keyring Holder has hidden RFID to enter from the main gate and the lift... Housekeeping of the property was nothing, floor was dirty , linen was crumbled not well made and to us as if it was already used.. pillow cover were of the half size of pillows Very small and 80%used toilet roll only kept no spared one and it was not provided even after asked Kitchen platform was having breadcrumbs and sink was having some waste stuck all over Balcony door was hard to open and lot of cigrette buds and used hand towel was lying in the balcony Wanted to cook some breakfast in the apartment, but due to filthy and poor housekeeping we couldn't dare to cook anything in aptt. No AC in apartment didn't affect us but could be a problem in summer as the fan is noisy Luckily we booked for 2 nights only, we r sure there will not be any housekeeping if we would have stayed longer as owner was not responding to our msg and request while we were staying in that apartment Overall a bad experience for us , property must b avoided by couples and families .

• Arizonaaam (6/5): Peu vraiment mieux faire ! - La localisation parfaite dans Montreal, le calme au 18eme étage dès qu'on a les fenêtres fermées, la sécurité du lieu dans une rue extrêmement animée, et le confort du lit ! 🛌 La vue était magnifique. La taille de l'appartement, spacieux, super agréable. Appartement extrêmement vieillissant, le matériel cuisine est à remplacer (bouilloire inutilisable hygiéniquement parlant, grille pain rouillé, frigo sale) Pas de télécommande pour la télé, donc pas utilisée (malgré une demande) Il y avait beaucoup de cheveux et de poussière, même une vieille lentille sur la table basse dans la chambre. Pas de papier toilette, quand on arrive de l'avion c'est difficile de prévoir même le strict minimum dans une location Pour la porte d'entrée, nous avons dû attendre une personne sur place car le badge ne fonctionnait pas en bas, malgré plusieurs demandes d'aides... En soit, c'est une bonne localisation pour une première fois mais on comprends mieux le prix plus bas que les autres autour, il faudrait faire une bonne dose de travaux !

• Arthur (3/5): - Bon emplacement. La réservation était pour 4 mais il n'y avait que 2 serviettes. Il n'y avait pas de draps pour le canapé lit. C'est seulement après contact avec le propriétaire que nous avons eu accès à l'armoire de stockage (par ailleurs totalement cassée) pour avoir deux essuis en plus et des draps. Aucun rideau ni store n'est présent dans le salon alors que les occupants du canapé lit y dorment. Le réveil est donc extrêmement matinal. Les instructions pour rentrer dans l'immeuble sont très peu claires (pas d'explication par rapport au badge, ni indication de l'étage). La propreté est également à revoir. A notre arrivée, le lave-vaisselle était plein.

• Jason (2/5): Very poor - The only thing we liked was the fact that the unit was on the 18th floor. MANY things.. let's start from the beginning.. we got there earlier than expected so we went to pick up the keys early. The host mentioned that they would be able to accommodate early check-in which was great but then, changed his mind and went back to saying that check-in was at 3pm. If you can't do early check-in, just say so. Don't get your guests hopes up and then "just kidding...". We ended up returning the key until later that day. Next, this unit HAS NO AC!!! If you're booking during a HOT summer like we did, DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. It was uncomfortably hot that we didn't quite enjoy the stay. They did have a fan which got us through the night but because of the overall heat, we didn't get a proper night's sleep! Did I mention the unit had a lot of bugs? This is most likely because the door to the balcony was fully open when we first got in. The host was also only semi-responsive and only really gave us half the instructions about how to get into the apartment. Luckily, even though he didn't reply back with some of our questions, we were able to figure things out. Lastly, there is NO parking provided. I read the comments about a parking garage just next door but this garage does not do overnight parking. I ended up finding street parking somewhere. Overall, especially for the price I paid, definitely not worth it. Not recommended.

• Danielle (7/5): The apartment has good value for money, but they should improve the checkin, communication and Wi-Fi. - The location was great, with a lot of restaurants and stores close by. The apartment had a nice size and was in good conditions. The checkin experience wasn’t good, it was supposed to be at 3pm, but I only got the keys at 4:30pm at a different location from the apartment. I then asked if I could have the checkout an 1 later and the owner never replied me. The internet was terrible, don’t count on it.

Washroom is TOO small, toilet got blocked easily, water system was weird- either the water was too cold or too hot. Storage doors were broken, there were pieces of tiles that were out of the flooring too, and the sheets of the bedding felt dirty!!

• Quihillalt (10/5): Perfect location for shopping, restaurants, bars, and Metro. - Excellent location, nice natural light and city view, no noises, extremely clean. Lots of towels. Great lay out for a short stay. It has a small balcony. Building is quiet and not too many people. Elevators are big and very fast. Easy to access from street will luggage. It is missing some cooking pots. There is no sharp knife.

• Talek (10/5): Excellent location, kind host, would happily stay again - Cleanliness, location, host responsiveness, necessities provided Not sure what the other reviewers didn't like, we had all we needed for this stay, there was no hair, place was recently cleaned (bedding, kitchen, tables, bathroom, etc..), no smells, bed was comfy, insulation was good, didn't hear any neighbours. The apartment was on a higher level as well which cut down the street noise significantly (only heard a bit on Saturday which is expected.. you're just off st Catherine) Nitpick, check in was a little confusing but not hard to figure out after we found the right person. Also wifi signal was a bit low

• Jacob (5/5): passable for two people, but somewhat unpleasant for four - Location was convenient, many bars and restaurants in the area and pretty close to a couple of metro lines. Apartment was not huge but had enough space for four people. Bedroom was comfortable. Many shortcomings: - the key handover didn't work properly. We dialed the indicated number but got no answer. Fortunately (or unfortunately), we were let into the building by a stranger. - apartment has no AC, which was a problem for us in the hot Montreal summer. - no curtains in the living room. This was not ideal for sleeping, and let in lots of sun to heat up the apartment - we appreciated the high-quality oscillating fan to keep cool, but there was only one, which meant we had to flip a coin to decide which bed got the fan at night. - the apartment was not thoroughly cleaned. It was not "dirty" overall, but there was dust and dirt in various corners of the apartment. - multiple large bottles of soap were provided but all were essentially empty, or scraping the bottom. Why not throw them away? (Or of course replace them.) - quite a lot of street noise despite being on an upper floor of a 20+ story building. - only 1 set of keys provided for 4 people. I probably would have given it a 7 if we were only two travelers.
