• William (8/5): Friendly accommodation in Armenistis - Friendly staff, spacious room, great views from the balcony, decent WiFi. Not easy to find on first arrival. Noisy fridge in room. No shower gel or toiletries provided. On a fairly steep hillside so takes a bit of effort walking from the village.

• Rudolf (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit außergewöhnlich nettem Inhaber - Wir waren hier für 4 Nächte in 3 Zimmern untergebracht. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas oberhalb es Ortes in ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist enfach, hat uns jedoch geschmeckt. Sehr nett ist Inhaber Nikos, der uns ain einem Abend in der Unterkunft zu einem Abendessen einlud. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmestens empfehlen. Vielen Dank lieber Nikos für die schöne Zeit bei dir.

• Heidi-Frauke (7/5): Gerne wieder !! - Großartiger Blick auf das Meer, freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, ruhige und doch zentrale Lage.! Frühstücken war bis 12.00 Uhr möglich; Leider nur immer die eine gleiche Sorte Käse und Aufschnitt, ansonsten war das Frühstück frisch und lecker und wurde sofort nachgefüllt.

The location is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, everyone who works at the property was incredibly kind and helpful. I want to come back and stay here every year! The wifi wasn’t great, which wasn’t a big deal, but worth knowing if wifi is super important to you.
• Franz (10/5): Exceptional - This accommodation is particularly beautiful, its location is indescribably fantastic: you have a view that makes it hard to leave this place again. And then there's the man who started building this house when he was still very young. It has been lovingly created step by step and has already made many, many people happy. This man is extraordinarily cheerful and despite all the hardships that lie behind him and that such a hotel management brings with it, he is attentive and helpful. Thank you. • Andrew (10/5): Come to Pension Galini and you might find yourself coming back for years to come (like many that we met!) - We stayed in one of the family suites on the top floor. It felt airy and well lit. The view of the northern coast was exquisite. We woke up with the sunrise and fell asleep with the stars. The location is prime; Armenistis is a fabulous starting location for any tourist. The breakfasts were solid and consistent. The place was clean. And Nikos (the owner) was incredibly friendly and generous. He made every effort to accommodate our needs as they arose. And the pension felt like an ‘adult hostel’ - you could make friends with other travelers very easily given the layout of the building and the leisurely, long time during which breakfast is served. Lastly, the property is lovingly guarded by a wonderful little dog named Frida. As a tall-ish man (6’0) I bumped my head a few times on the slanted ceiling of the top floor apartment! But I got used to it haha. And the wifi signal isn’t always so strong upstairs, but it’s fabulous near the breakfast area (and we were actually happy to have hit or miss internet reception in our suite).

• Miladin (8/5): Good place to stay, a great host, and a good room. Would stay again. - We liked Nikos’ hospitality, friendliness, ambiance, it was a home away from home. Breakfast every morning, so you do not have to go around and search for it. Our room was facing front which was quite busy and noisy with vehicles and motorcycles during sleeping hours. The hill to the house is quite steep, and not in the best condition.

If you are above 1.80 it’s hard to stay in the last floor apartment as the ceiling is very low. There wasn’t very hot water to shower. The breakfast was poor with very limited options. Sometimes parking space was full.

• Carnwath (10/5): The host(ess) was welcoming and helpful, the location and the property was serene and relaxing. - We arrived late at night. The host prepared a (complementary) snack and helped up plan our trip into Athens the next day. The area was nice for short walks on country (farm) roads. Long trip into the city, even via train (which was not within walking distance of the property)

Everything was tasty and clean. good value for money. the pension is on a hill which can be paved up easily in about 15-20 minutes by a non-smoker:) the property was incredibly clean. spotless. smelling the fresh linens while sleeping was great. the rooms were taken care of and cleaned regularly. the view and the balcony was amazing. the best view in town, I guess. shutters were great. the ac was working efficiently. the housekeeping lady was very kind, like an angel. the owner, Nikos, is a great host, a real friend. the hill (as a smoker)... but the view up in the pension was the best on the island. the bathrooms and the shower area was very small but very, very clean. spotless. no shampoo in the shower.

Room had the most incredible view and balcony. Room was simple and authentic. Breakfast was delicious. Make sure you try the honey he provides, it's the most delicious we've ever tried!!!! Felt like home from home in a stunning location. We cannot rate this highly enough!!! If you want to experience authentic Greek hospitality, this place will exceed your expectations.
