• Ries (8/5): Très bien pour un court séjour. - L'emplacement est parfait, le studio est propre et très bien équipé. Le fait que la seule fenêtre du studio donne directement sur l'entrée couverte, pas de lumière du soleil direct, pas très intimiste malgré la fenêtre teintée.

• Oleksandra Yuhan (9/5): - The apartment has a great location, just a short walk from the town center. It is very clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable short stay. A small free public parking area is only 2 minutes away, which is very convenient. The host is extremely kind and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the apartment. There is no washing machine, which could be inconvenient for a longer stay. Parking nearby is very difficult to find, even paid spots.

Baulich vor Sonne geschützt - deshalb nicht überhitzt, so dass die Aircondition nicht immer laufen muss. Wenige Schritte bis ins Zentrum oder zum Lago Maggiore. Geräumige Dusche. Der Kontakt zur Inhaberin war sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Wenig Abstellfläche im Bad. Geschirr ist alles nur zweimal vorhanden, so dass man sich die Spülmaschine sparen kann. Ein größerer Tisch würde Frühstück für 2 Personen im Zimmer ermöglichen. Der Stauraum im Schrank für 2 Personen und eine Woche ist sehr knapp.
• Geoff (10/5): We had a most enjoyable stay. Stresa is a lovely place and we loved the islands too. - Our stay was in an apartment and we prepared breakfast. The location was excellent. A few minutes to a laundromat and supermarket and only about 8 mins to the lake. The host was very helpful. We liked everything.
• Lance (10/5): Would come back in a heartbeat - Location was amazing. Very clean apartment. Oxana was wonderful host. Place was great. Only thing to add would possibly be an air conditioned unit in the bedroom. Otherwise, it was excellent .

• Alisa (8/5): A nice apartment conveniently located in the centre of Stresa - It’s a lovely modern apartment located right near the town square and close to the bus/train station with an easy connection to Milan. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, as well as a supermarket. The host was nice with good communication. Nothing major, but it lacked a bit of natural light for us and it’s right where people walk by, but I knew this upfront from other reviews. It’d be good to update the welcome instructions video to avoid any future mix ups with another property’s safety box.

Everything is newly renovated, modern, and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable, and communication with the host was pleasant, respectful, and unobtrusive, with clear instructions provided. Žinoma! The main issue is that the apartment is actually just a separate room divided from other rooms by standard interior doors. You can clearly hear everything from neighboring guests – conversations, people using the bathroom or shower – which makes it feel more like a room rental than a private apartment. There is practically no privacy due to the type of doors used. Another inconvenience is that the window faces a shared corridor, so everyone passing by can look in. Because of that, it’s nearly impossible to open the curtains, which is quite uncomfortable. Also, there is no outdoor space to sit or relax. Although the location is central, you can hear city nightlife noise until around 2 AM. Lastly, guests are required to take out the trash themselves, and the bins are not in a convenient location.

• Ken (10/5): Great location, wonderful apartment with excellent fit-out topped off by excellent host - total recommended! - Great location near centre of town with supermarket, pharmacy and laundry very close and very short walk to town squares, shops and lake. Apartment very well appointed with quality furniture, fittings and utensils - everything worked well! Oxana our host was very helpful in every way and even offered trips/activities etc and on the last day assisted us in getting a cab to the train station when most did not want a short fare. Only suggestion would be to have a second softer pillow available for the bed - minor issue!

Very cold floor; bring slippers or your feet will be cold all the time. The flat was cold when we arrived but Oxana was able to guide us with the thermostat. No white curtain to hide from outside without having to turn the lights on. No blinds.

Limited kitchen, ok provided you don't want to cook a proper meal. No oven (conventional or microwave). Window in the main room looks directly onto the entrance to the apartment block. The glass is mirrored so people outside cannot see in during the day, but need to keep curtains closed at night.
• Retirees (9/5): Perfect Stresa stay - The location was perfect. Easy 10 minute walk to the train station and only a 3 minute walk to the waterfront and many restaurants, cafes etc. There is a laundromat directly across the road, and a supermarket on the other corner. Our ground floor apartment was in a quiet residential block. Very clean and comfortable. Our host Oxana was so helpful with check-in information and restaurant recommendations. Leaving...
