• Karen (10/5): Nice stay - Very spacious bungalow and shower was great. Bed comfortable with mosquito net although we didn’t use it. Over the road is a fantastic place to eat called Mopi’s so it was a great location. Owners lovely and friendly and gave us breakfast on our balcony. Great value for money Nothing

• Carolina (10/5): - Yohanes and his family are very kind and helpful. They support you with everything. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great with a lot of fruit. Amazing location!
• Verena (9/5): - Our room was very big and also comfortable. There was also a mosquito net for the bed which was great. The host and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They even cooked dinner one night for us which was sooo delicious. Also breakfast was a real highlight the pancakes and the amount of fruit was amazing. We were able to rent a scooter with them and also they helped us to flag down a taxi for our way to Ende. There are ventilation gaps in the walls since there is no air condition. One thing that could be added would be some kind of net or mesh in the ventilation gaps in the room since otherwise mosquitos and other insects are able to get in the room. Other than that everything was great.

• Salla (9/5): - Henkilökunta on aivan ihana, hän jopa teki mulle ruokaa. Huolehti kokoajan että minulla on kaikki hyvin. Huone oli tilava. Huoneen vesi, siis suihku tuoksui tosi pahalle. Oli pakko huuhdella itseään pullovedellä..
• François (10/5): - Les propriétaires sont au petit soin, tellement gentil. Le studio est spacieux,tout fonctionne très bien. Le déjeuner est copieux et tous les fruits sont au propriétaire. Ça fait un mois qu'on fait des guest house et celui là est juste au top. L'emplacement est parfait avec de bons restaurants animés,on est a 30 mn des merveilleux lacs de kelimutu Rien

• Chlopčík (10/5): Vynikajici, neprohloupíš. - Uzasne ubytovani. Ciste a prostorne. Pohodlna postel. Skvela koupelna s teplou vodou. Bananovy pankejk na snidani, s vyberem kafe,caj a velky talir se sezonním ovocem. Lokalita Manu je 30 minut skutrem od Kelimutu a 2,5 az 3 hodiny z Ende. Pro ranní vystup ke 3 kraterum je to idealni lokalita. Pro vychod slunce jsem vstaval ve 4:00 , 4:30 odjezd. 5:00 jste na sbernem parkovisti pod Kelimutu a v 6:00 po uzasnem pochodu pralesem a planinami se ocitate na strese sveta. To co pak pri vychodu slunce uvidite se neda popsat, to musite videt. Je wow, wow, wow, . Stravil jsem tam 3 hodiny a nechtelo se mi zpet. Majitel Yohanes , uzasny pratelsky clovek mluvici anglicky umi vse zaridit. Odvoz z a na letiste. Poradi a zorganizuje ranni vylet na Kelimutu. Zna kam jit dale po navsteve krateru, jako jsou vodopady, ryzova pole a dokonce vas zaveze do vesnicky kde tkaji sarongy, saly atd. Cely proces vam tkadleny ukazi a nikdo vas nenuti si neco koupit. Vyrobky jsou ale uzasne a neda se odolat. Yohanes klidne sedi na pohovce, popiji caj a pomaha vam s prekladem do Bahasa. Proste skvela atmosfera. Vrele doporucuji a rad se zde vratim. Vlastne se sem opravdu vracim se svymi prateli jiz v dubnu 2026. Obed a veceri vam udelaji v restauraci naproti. Ceny jsou normalni vcetne bintangu. Yohanes, thank you very much. • Cristian Felipe (10/5): - Lovely guest house located in The middle of Moni. The hosts, Yohanes and his wife were incredibly helpful and friendly during our stay, with recommendations of activities around Moni and they offered us some food on arrival and before leaving. They even helped us to find a ride to Ende last minute! If you want to feel at home we totally recommend Shila Bungalow! Nothing to mention.

• szenic (9/5): - Bardzo gościnny gospodarz - zawsze na miejscu, kiedy jest potrzebny. Ciepłe przywitanie. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Przestronny i wygodny domek z tarasem. Smaczne śniadanie z dużą ilością owoców. Obiekt blisko ruchliwej ulicy i restauracji - mogą się przydać zatyczki do uszu, jeśli chcesz się wyspać. Nie polecam robienia prania w obiekcie - miało dziwny zapach.

• Laurien (10/5): Geweldige gastheer, comfortabele kamer. - Ruime kamer en badkamer. Eenvoudige accomodatie maar schoon, comfortabel bed en warme douche. De bungalows liggen midden in het dorp Moni en zijn omgeven door de rijstvelden. Bij het ontbijt kregen we fruit uit eigen tuin. De bananenpannekoeken met susu (gecondenseerde melk) waren heerlijk. Gastheer Yohanes en zijn vrouw Rossa zijn ontzettend lief en behulpzaam! Rossa heeft een avond voor ons gekookt en dat was een van de lekkerste maaltijden van onze 2 maanden in Indonesië. Als je licht slaapt, heb je wellicht last van de muziek uit de buurt of de kippen en kikkers die geluid maken. Oordoppen zijn dan aan te raden.
• IRV18 (7/5): Basic accommodatie, prima voor 1 nacht met oordoppen - Prima accommodatie om 1 nacht te verblijven maar verwacht geen super sfeervolle bungalow. Fijne restaurants in de omgeving en lekker ontbijt . In de omgeving was super luide muziek tot in de nacht en de hanen die in de nacht niet stoppen met kraaien.

• Luisa (9/5): - Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen und eignet sich super für Ausflüge zu den Kelimutu-Kraterseen. Jedes Bungalow hat eine eigene kleine Terrasse von der man einen tollen Blick auf Reisfelder hat. Das Bett ist mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet und es gibt warmes Wasser. Johannes und seine Frau waren super liebe Gastgeber, die uns bei der Organisation der Kelimutu-Tour, unserer Weiterreise und sonstigen Fragen gerne unterstützt haben. Zum Frühstück gab’s lecker Pfannkuchen und frische Früchte.
• Henriette (9/5): Nette, schone bungalow op goede locatie. - Eenvoudige maar zeer nette bungalows met een prachtig uitzicht en super vriendelijke eigenaars. Tegenover zit een goed restaurant met soms live muziek. Ontbijt was goed en werd geserveerd op het terras. Zeker een aanrader als je een stop maakt in Moni.

• Horace Bailey (1/5): Noisy, uncomfortable and very aggressive owner. - The breakfast was good and there was a nice view from the room. First the accommodation related issues. The bed was uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise every night from the restaurant across the road. At 4am the numerous cockerels started crowing and they did this all day until sunset. There was no glass in the window top panes so the noise came straight in. We stayed 2 of the 3 nights booked then left to go get a decent nights sleep. The biggest issue was the owner Johannes, who was rude and aggressive, as was his sidekick - another guy who hung around the place. We accidentally packed up a WiFi repeater along with our plugs and adapters. Even if we had been the type of people who would actually steal from anyone, and especially those who had so much less than us, we wouldn't have bothered to, as the repeater didn't work (the WiFi in the room was barely functional). Johannes plus sidekick chased us down in their car, almost ran us off the road and snatched our car keys - they tried to manhandle me and the side kick attempted to drive the car away while my wife was sitting in the passenger seat. They were shouting and screaming that we had stolen from them and that they were going to call the police. Explaining what had happened and straight away locating the repeater along with profuse apologies made no difference whatsoever. We said fine, call the police and we would happily talk to them, but they actually refused to call them when we said this, and jumped in their car to drive off at speed. Johannes' final words to us were "f**k you". WE FELT VERY UNSAFE. WE WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT SHILA BUNGALOW.

• Manuel (7/5): - Wir hatten 2 Bungalows. Die Häuschen haben ein Doppelbett und ein Badezimmer. Frühstück (Pancake, Obst und Tee/ Kaffee) werden auf der Terrasse serviert. Also für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend.
• Lucie (10/5): Très bon séjour chez Yohannes ! - Yohanes et son neveu Thomas sont très accueillants et arrangeants, donne le meilleur pour leurs guests et toujours avec le sourire et un très bon anglais. Yohannes nous a fait d’excellentes recommandations dans les environs et nous avons passé un très bon séjour grâce à lui ! Il nous a également arrangé les transferts pour notre voyage. Le logement est très propre et confortable - fidèle aux photos. Le restaurant en face est très bon et les plats sont variés ! Merci Yohannes et Thomas pour votre accueil et votre accompagnement pendant ces 2 jours, nous avons apprécié les moments partagés !

• Susan (9/5): A great little place to stay in Moni Village. Clean and private and right in town - Great private bungalow and very clean. The owners Johannis and Rosa are really helpful. They can arrange a scooter, a trip up to Kelimutu and even the onward bus. Breakfast was fresh and from the garden. Convenient for a few little bars and restaurants in walking distance Everything was OK

• Jānis (9/5): Superb - Very suitable location to explore wonders of local nature- Kelimutu and hidden fantastic spots for tourism industry Murukeba Waterfall, Dhaekale Waterfall. Bungalow has everything for comfortable overnight stay, also hot shower.. Only equipment is very worn- sanitary looks bad (but works), outdoor is partly destroyed and opening with effort. The feeling that the host considers the guests as moneybags does not leave. Also strange offer within our communication before arrival about 5milj idr service to guide guests per day. But at tha end everything was good.
• Enzo (9/5): Nice bungalow and bed in the center of Moni! - Very new place, big and comfortable place. Nice to sit in front of the bungalow. From all the bungalows we saw in Moni, this looked like the most beautiful one. Very friendly hosts. The breakfast is exceptional! Location is also perfect. Floor in the bathroom stayed wet for a long time. It would be nice to have some more tables etc inside to leave some stuff on (like toiletries).
