But I wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve their professionalism Disappointing and stressful stay, though it ended better than it started I had an unfortunate and confusing experience during my recent stay at Pensão Londres. I booked and paid for my room in advance via Booking.com, expecting a smooth check-in and a decent stay — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When I arrived, I was assigned Room 204 by the receptionist (a Brazilian lady). The room had three beds and a very strong, unpleasant odor — the kind of smell that tells you the room hasn’t been properly cleaned. It was already late, and I was exhausted, so I stayed the night without complaining. The next morning, I found out there was no hot water in the shower. I waited with the tap open, thinking it might take time, but nothing changed. I went to the reception to report the issue. The man there initially told me I’d have to pay extra to change rooms, which shocked me. After I explained the situation, he agreed to give me another room. That’s when things got worse: I was given a key to Room 508, but when I entered the room, it was already occupied — a serious breach of privacy and safety for both me and the other guest. I immediately closed the door and returned to reception. At that point, the receptionist (a different lady) finally gave me a new room. This time, the room was clean, fresh, and clearly of a higher standard — so much so that I couldn’t believe it was the same hotel. This whole experience left me feeling sad and confused. I can’t help but wonder if I was unfairly judged and given a lower-quality room at first, or if the staff simply didn’t manage their bookings well. Either way, I believe the hotel should have communicated more honestly, and certainly shouldn’t be assigning rooms that aren’t ready — or worse, are already occupied. I’m giving 2 stars only because the final room was acceptable and my stay ended better than it began. But I wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve their professionalism

• chiara (4/5): Anche no ... - Posizione, ampiezza camera e bagno, per il resto anche no ! Camera ampia ma pareti sporche e porte rotte, porta scorrevole bagno assolutamente da sistemare. Sala colazione veramente vergognosa, sporco sui pavimenti, proposta cibo imbarazzante (prosciutto cotto immangiabile e puzzolente) sia come qualità che come quantita ed proposta. Onestamente se avessi saputo che la proposta colazione era così non l'avrei sicuramente scelta vista la proposta di bar e caffetterie della zona.
• Joanna (6/5): Fajna miejscówka - pod warunkiem, że się dostosujesz do panujących warunków. - Hotel świetnie położony. Pokój był duży ( taki jaki potwierdzili ) z widokiem na rzekę Tag i most "25 kwietnia". Mimo centrum, z ulic nie dobiegał hałas. W hotelu też było cicho. Pokój odnowiony z wysokim pięknym sufitem. Stoliki nocne z metalu - ładne, ale brak zabezpieczeń na ścianie powoduje, że ściany już są poobcierane. Łazienka duża, z dużym prysznicem ( deszczownica i "słuchawka" ) wydzielone WC, umywalka z dużym blatem. Śniadania na początku były przyzwoite: pyszne pieczywo, szynka, ser żółty, jakieś płatki, jogurt, dżem, miód, słodkie pieczywo francuskie ( 3 rodzaje) a także nata de pastel, kawa, herbata oraz soki. Po kilku dniach ograniczano słodkie wyroby, aż pod koniec były tylko z pudełek: kruche herbatniki i mufinki w foli. Pokój nie był sprzątany, jedynie wynoszone były śmieci. Ręczniki były wymieniane przez pierwsze 5-6 dni codziennie, potem ręczniki, które leżały na blacie, każdy przy naszych oddzielnych kosmetykach, powieszono na szklanej ścianie prysznica (ręczniki były jednakowe), więc po powrocie do pokoju nie wiedziałyśmy, który ręcznik jest czyj. Powtarzało się to przez 2 dni. Jeżeli się nie wymienia, to nie ruszaj!!!. Jeżeli ręczniki nie leżą na podłodze, to w hotelu ** nie koniecznie trzeba je codziennie wymieniać , natomiast ich mieszanie jest niehigieniczne. Fakt, że incydent z ręcznikami zbiegł się z pogorszeniem jakości śniadań - może ograniczali działalność ? W łazience, ktoś musiał "długo myśleć", aby JEDYNE wieszaki zamontować w kabinie WC, a nie np. przy umywalce ( w pozostałej części łazienki nie było już żadnego wieszaka ). Nie wiem, kto odbierał zlecone roboty, ale jako budowlaniec mogę stwierdzić, że inspektor, który podpisał protokół odbioru robót, straciłby uprawnienia budowlane. Wyrzucone pieniądze, a efekt znikomy bo wszędzie wychodzą jakieś "niedoróbki", usterki, a to psuje cały efekt. A budynek posiada ogromny potencjał, mógłby być prawdziwą "perełką".

• Tasnia (9/5): Comfortable, Excellent location and Stunning Views! - We absolutely loved our stay! Lo and the elderly gentleman receptionist were incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable. There were a few hiccups, but we had a pleasant stay regardless. We asked for a suite with sea view, and the room they gave use was far better than the room in the photos! It was a stunning spacious room, very comfortable with breathtaking views of the city. We also thoroughly enjoyed the balcony. The location is also excellent in Bairo Alto! Walking distance or just short Uber rides from all the best parts of Lisbon (Alfama, Baixa, Chiado, Rua Augusta, etc). There is also a stunning viewpoint just around the corner from the hotel which was convenient and a worthwhile experience to catch golden hours and sunsets. The hotel entrance was a little difficult to locate as we arrived late at night, but Lo was helpful and came down to help us. The lift also broke down unfortunately during the last few days of our stay, so it became difficult climbing up and down 5 flights of stairs everyday and on the last day with our luggage with no help. The breakfast was also quite limited with mostly sweets and pastries, so a variety with some savoury options would be great. But enjoyed our stay and recommend nonetheless!

• Riete (10/5): Gewoon boeken! - Prachtige kamer met een zalig uitzicht, goed uitgeruste badkamer en alles wat je nodig hebt is er te vinden. Toen we de laatste avond zagen dat we geen handdoeken meer gekregen hadden, kwamen we te recht bij een ontzettend vriendelijke meneer die ons meteen geholpen heeft. Kijk niet verder en boek! Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen, ik zou het hotel echt aanraden. De dame aan het onthaal was de eerste dag niet erg hartelijk of gastvrij, maar dat is een kleinigheid. Tip: extra kussen op het bed om het comfort nog extra te verhogen.

Die Beschreibung/Ausstattung war von vorn bis hinten gelogen: Es gab ein dunkles Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und 2 Schlafcouches, obwohl ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten und einem separaten Wohnzimmer mit einer Schlafcouch gebucht wurde. Die Bilder in der Buchung zeigen ein sehr helles Zimmer, war aber sehr dunkel und klein, maximal 15qm (nicht 35, wie gebucht). Es gab keinen Balkon oder Terrasse, außerdem NICHT vorhanden, obwohl als Ausstattung aufgeführt: Kaffee- und Teezubehör Fön Pflegeprodukte Sitzbereich Und ganz wichtig: Fahrstuhl!! Der ist seit langer Zeit kaputt, die Rezeption befindet sich jedoch im 2. Stock, jemand, der auf den ausgeschriebenen Fahrstuhl angewiesen ist, hat keine Chance in diesem grottenschlechten Hotel zu übernachten. Wir sind nicht so empfindlich, weswegen uns nicht gestört hat, dass es nur mäßig gut geputzt wurde (es hingen lange schwarze Haare in der Dusche). Die Fensterrahmen und die Dusche sind verschimmelt gewesen. Da wir jedoch zu fünft waren, hätten wir das Badezimmer gern geschlossen, jedoch war die Schiebetür auch kaputt. Das Badezimmer hatte kein Fenster und da, wo evtl mal ein Abluftventilator hinsollte, war nur ein Loch in der Decke. Wenn dieses Zimmer 50 Euro pro Nacht gekostet hätte, hätte ich sicherlich kein Wort darüber verloren, da wir aber eine Deluxe-Suite für mehr als 180 Euro gebucht haben, fühle ich mich mehr als betrogen. Also bucht bitte nicht dort!!

Booking Beschreibung deckt sich in keinster Weise mit den tatsächlichen Verhältnissen. Abgerockte Unterkunft. Aufzug defekt Rezeption im 2. Stock um zum Aufzug zu kommen muss man ohnhin mehrere Steile und glatte Stufen gehen. Nie wieder booking.com. Nie wieder Hotel Londres.

• Luis (8/5): Muy bien ubicado y espacioso. - Muy bien ubicado. Buen trato. Resolvieron un problema rápidamente. Difícil encontrarlo, ya que estaba dentro de un portal y no había muchas indicaciones.
• Monica (7/5): - Posizione comodissima, vicino al centro della città e in una zona tranquilla. Ben collegata da metro e tram. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, anche per il servizio di deposito bagagli.

• Hana (7/5): Dostačující ubytování kousek od centra Lisabonu - Líbila se nám lokalita hotelu - dostupnost do centra města, většina památek v docházkové vzdálenosti, veřejná doprava také v blízkosti hotelu. Hotel nabízel také snídaně, ale ty jsme nevyužili (zašli jsme si do blízkého baru JAC Brunch - můžeme doporučit). Pokoje byli krásné a dostačující na náš krátký pobyt. Měli jsme pěkný výhled na centrum města a i přesto, že jsme balkón měli do rušné ulice, ruch nešel příliš slyšet. V době našeho příjedzu byl porouchaný výtah - recepce se nachází ve druhém patře, naše pokoje byly v nejvyšším pátém patře. Bylo opravdu náročné vyjít až nahoru s těžkými kufry, ale výtah byl opraven alespoň při našem odjezdu. Ve sprše nám teklo opravdu málo teplé vody (především ve večerních hodinách - pravděpodobně vyčerpána dalšími hosty, ráno zas takový problém nebyl). Trochu páchly odpady z umyvadla a sprchy, ale to vpodstatě v celém Lisabonu :D .

• Guylène (4/5): - L'accueil du personnel et la localisation de l'hôtel. La mauvaise isolation / insonorisation de l'appartement et certains équipements cassé comme la tête de lit ou réparé avec du scotch comme une plaque isolante.
• Julien (5/5): - L’emplacement Le manque de personnel. La vétusté de certains éléments. Une odeur de tuyauterie dans la chambre. Pas de gel douche, pas de bouteille d’eau, pas de bouilloire. Pas grave mais petites intentions qui font toute la différence

• Juan (8/5): Bien! - La ubicación es excelente. La habitación deluxe tiene una vista hermosa. Cuando llegamos el ascensor no funcionaba, lo que significó que después de caminar unas cuadras por una ciudad que agota por las subidas y que la recepción está en el segundo piso, la verdad es que fue duro. Al día siguiente se arregló el elevador por suerte. Al llegar nos dieron una habitación de bastante menor calidad a la contratada, que previo reclamo, corrigieron el error. Es importante resaltar que no se presentó ningún tipo de discusión, se informó e inmediatamente se solucionó.
• ΗΛΙΑΝΑ (5/5): - Η τοποθεσία, τα καλά αγγλικά του άντρα υπαλλήλου της ρεσεψιόν, τα άνετα κρεβάτια και ο καλός κλιματισμός στο 2ο δωμάτιο που μείναμε γιατί δεν λειτουργούσε το ac στο 1ο. Δεν λειτουργούσε το AC στο τρίκλινο που μείναμε αρχικά , στην ανακαινισμένη πτέρυγα του ξενοδοχείου και αναγκαστήκαμε να αλλάξουμε στο άλλο τρίκλινο που είχε μεν καλύτερα κρεβατια και κλιματισμό, αλλά δεν είχε ψυγείο (ημέρες καυσωνα), μικρό μπάνιο, φτωχό φωτισμό και μια πολύ βρώμικη μοκέτα. Το πρωινό φτωχό και επαναλαμβανόμενο, χάλαγε συχνά η μηχανη του καφέ ή άδειαζε από πρώτη ύλη και οι υπάλληλοι δυσανασχετούσαν να τη γεμίσουν, μεχρι που είδαμε και μια κατσαρίδα ένα πρωί μπροστά της,
• Santos (7/5): - A localização é na zona alta de Lisboa, muito movimentada durante o dia e a noite. Ideal para quem quer usufruir da noite no bairro alto, mas menos apropriado para famílias (pelo menos longas estadias). O quarto familiar era espaçoso e com climatização. A porta da casa de banho não fechava completamente, estava estragada. Faltava sabonete na WC, mas assim que notificámos na recepção vieram trazer. A limpeza não era 5 estrelas, o chão estava claramente sujo. De resto parecia limpo e cuidado. Difícil arranjar estacionamento perto.
• Gloria (10/5): Meravigliosa Posizione, tornerei!! - Siamo stati benissimo a Pensao Londres! La posizione era spettacolare, con qualche bel baretto e varie proposte di ristoranti nei dintorni, bei giardini e il bellissimo Miradouro a pochi passi dall’alloggio, vicinissimi a Baixa e Chiado. Abbiamo davvero amato la posizione! Per essere quotato a 2 stelle ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo staff ci ha riservato una bellissima camera al quarto piano, alla quale non mancava nulla, giusto la finestra in camera ma sopportabilissimo. La reception era sempre aperta e i ragazzi cortesi e amichevoli. La colazione per noi non era inclusa ma nei paraggi ci sono tantissime opzioni, come Chez Croissant o Gleba. Vicino all’hotel ci sono strade e scorci spettacolari: Miradouro di Santa Caterina e via Da Rosa, proprio davanti l’hotel c’è un rooftop mozzafiato dove poter cenare o fare aperitivo: Lost In. Se dovessi tornare a Lisbona tornerei sicuramente qui! Non posso non dire che al quarto piano c’è una vista spettacolare su tutta Lisbona!! Rifarei la moquette della sala reception.

• Castanar (8/5): 3 días en Lisboa - Alojamiento cómodo. Buenas vistas de la ciudad. La ubicación muy buena. . La panadería está cerca. Buenos desayunos. Buena combinación de transportes.. Parking a 800 metros. 37 euros (3 días) Volveremos ! Las escaleras del alojamiento. Se estropeó el ascensor dos veces.

• Milani (8/5): Se cambiano il personale la struttura è ok - L’edificio, la posizione, la stanza molto ampia con 3 letti matrimoniali e tante finestre vista mare e città Il servizio di pulizia un giorno sono venuti alle 16 per pulire ma stavo facendo una call di lavoro ho chiesto di venire 30 minuti più tardi non sono più venuti, giorno seguente chiesto di pulire al mattino torno in camera alle 17 camera non pulita sono andato alla reception e fatto pulire, il giorno seguente le signore delle pulizie mi hanno buttato via i liquidi delle lenti a contatto e il contenitore delle lenti stesse, per fortuna le lenti le avevo addosso!!
• Pär (6/5): Lissabon har mycket att erbjuda. Man är inte så mycket på hotellrummet. - Läget. Utsikten. Bra utgångspunkt och många kaféer, restauranger osv direkt utanför dörren. Slitet. Hårda sängar. Litet utbud på frukost.

Emplacement ideal, bars restaurants à proximité, transports Salle de bain et climatisation fonctionnelle, bonne literie Belle vue au 5etage Ascenseur defectueux (porte ne fermait pas) Rampe du balcon pas solide Manque peut-être des crochets pour etendre ses serviettes.
