• Neo Jones (7/5): Better than all my other stays in Durban. - Restaurants and the comrades finish line was few meters away. Parking space seems to be an issue due to the construction, hopefully there's a plan for that since more capacity is expected in the future.
• Zeph (2/5): To be honest, it was very disappointing and far below our expectations. - The location in Florida Road for its proximity to clubs and restaurants, and closer to other places of interest. It was very sour to be told on arrival that our booking was without breakfast when it was never mentioned in any booking confirmation. This affected our budget drastically. The reception area was dull and unappealing. The usage of stairs instead of elevators to access upper floors was surprising. There were no twin beds in the rooms even though we indicated when booking that we were coming with children.

• Henry (10/5): Best so far!🎖 - Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Attention to detail when cleaning the room. The style of the hotel and room is very appealing. Laundry service was excellent. Cracked TV screen. Outdated TV so I could not even cast from my phone. Very Limited TV channels. Fridge was too small to keep food in.

• Gareth (7/5): Reliable, safe and friendly with comfortable rooms and hearty breakfasts. - Clean and well run; comfortable; excellent breakfasts; friendly, responsive service. A bit tired - needs a repaint internally and carpets refreshed. Noisy location but that can’t be helped
• ZITA (8/5): Very comfortable and pleasant stay. - Very spacious rooms, comfortable linen and very helpful staff While the signs clearly indicate no smoking in the rooms, my room stank of cigarette smoke. Not the hotel’s fault, just unfortunate.

• yusuf (6/5): Was a lovely stay - 1. The family room is spacious 2. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is now owned by Muslims so the food is halal which is a huge plus 3. The hotel is located in a very convenient location close to the ocean and close to many halal restaurants a walk away. 4. The staff are friendly and very helpful 1. The room needs a thorough clean especially the carpets need a deep clean 2. The toilet flushing sounds like a train is running through the room- it is so so loud. 3. After flushing the pipes make a sound similar to an alarm. 4. 3 towels and 2 bottles of water are not sufficient for a family room for 4 - however this was resolved. 5. The concierge told us to call him should we need anything however the phone in our room did not work.

• Theresa (9/5): Overall a good stay - Central place to stay to get around to the adjoining areas and staff were great and tried to cater for requests as best as they could. They didn’t keep enough stock to cater for what was presented on their breakfast menu. They also did not inform guests, they currently doing an extension and the noise of the build.

There are renovations on one of the building currently, I think customers should have been notified in advance during the booking process. I would have booked another place instead.

• Yasira (9/5): Good location, spacious room - We stayed for 3 nights and the room met our needs. It was spacious and quiet. Great location for restaurants. The bathroom was a little dated, but the water pressure was good.

Plumbing / cannot sleep as you can hear toilets flushing - Extremely loud due to the pressure. Bathroom had a damp smell due to poor ventilation. The fridge in the room is old and noisy. Didn’t get much sleep during my stay.

Duly air conditioned. The staff is kind and helpful. The cleaning lady even looked for me to give me items I forgot from the room. Most importantly, the hotel is situated next to some cool places including restaurants.

A special mention should go out to Kelly and the ladies that serve the breakfast. They are an asset to the etsablishment. A little road noise but you are prepared to accept that for the location to all the restaurants in Florida road.
