- Anton (1/5): - Location! I had a reservation that was accepted, but unfortunately I was unable to check in. I tried to contact the host in advance, but I did not receive any response. When I arrived at the address, it was very confusing bcs was close. Even though the location looks wonderful, I cannot properly evaluate it. I am sure it is a beautiful place, and I’m sorry for that. However, it is not a pleasant experience to arrive in a foreign city and be forced to immediately look for another place to stay. Maybe another time.

The hotel is family-friendly and highly recommended. - The stay was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep throughout our visit. Cleanliness was excellent, both in the rooms and common areas. Check-in and check-out procedures were smooth and hassle-free. The staff were friendly and attentive, responding quickly to any requests and leaving a very positive impression of the service. I truly appreciate Madam Nona and her family for managing the hotel with such warmth and outstanding customer service. We accidentally forgot an eyeglasses, and she went above and beyond to ensure they were delivered back to us in Tbilisi before we left Georgia. Nothing

- Simon (8/5): Simple but very comfortable guesthouse at the canyon tourist attractions, great food ! - The Canionel guesthouse is situated right at the Martvili canyon, in the middle of the tourist attractions, and next to the visitor center. During the day, the area is very busy with tourists arriving for the day. Very calm during the night, when the tourists have gone. The rooms were comfortable, simple and very clean. We had a little balcony which I loved. You can make your own coffee and tea at a table next to reception and there is a restaurant serving beautiful Georgian dishes attached to the hotel. Staff were very friendly. We had a great jeep tour to visit the waterfalls with the hotel manager. Note that the Canionel is not in the center of Martvili but at the canyon, so you need a car if you want to visit the town of Martvili.

Staff knows english so very helpful and were friendly and helpful There was a bad smell coming from the restroom at night . Might be a drain problem but not something that was unbearable . We just closed the door

- Guruji (7/5): Room next to Martvili canyon - The room is right next to Martvili canyon, so you just have to wake up and start roaming around the canyon. The room is quite basic for the price you pay, availability of microwave or a kettle would have been great. Food looks expensive there.

- Michaela (10/5): Hotel and the manager perfect! Martvili less.. - Great manager, she was very welcoming, warm and considerate. Delicious food (20% discount), local specialities. Big, basic room - if you miss anything just say to the manager. It was not the hotel itself, the location just felt little bit like a tourist trap. Too noisy, too many people.. The entire parking place was full of local men who tried to charge some money for parking space which was not their own. The hotel has its own parking though, we found it later. But again - the hotel was good and especially the manager and all the employees were gret!
- Evgeniia (9/5): Good for staying for the night - We stayed at the hotel in July when visiting the Martvili canyon. We seemed to be one of the first visitors, the hotel lacked some things in rooms (like cups and drinking water although there was an electric kettle), but the management was more than happy to take suggestions and improve. The rooms were clean and pretty cozy, had nice bathroom with shower (which had a curtain! you learn to appreciate that in Georgia =) ). The hotel is out of town, 3 minutes walk away from the canyon which is convenient if you plan to visit in the evening. The owners have a restaurant downstairs below the rooms and even offered us a discount as we were staying at their place. We had a pretty decent breakfast before leaving. All problems were related to noises (not a problem for some, I guess, but personally I am sensitive to sounds and a light sleeper). There was a quite loud pump that you can hear every time someone turns water on, also soundproofing is quite bad - you can hear people next room talking, especially if they laugh or not trying to keep their voice down. Also in the night the stray dogs started barking pretty loudly from time to time, but I guess nothing one can do about those) But all in all, for one night it was a good experience.
