- Mirka (10/5): - Communication from owners was excellent and instructions how to find the lodge. It was very clean and so beautifully done with everything you could need in such a remote location We liked everything

- Carwyn (10/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): Best weekend ever! - Everything! The remoteness, the cosiness, the facilities. The lodge had everything you could need, the bed was ridiculously comfy, the shower was hot, the natural pool was beautiful. I couldn't rate the lodge highly enough!
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Bleddyn (10/5): Tranquil and peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings in a cosy little haven. - Fantastic location for peace, quiet and getting away from it all. Completely isolated and we didn't see another soul, which suited us for this particular weekend. The facilities suited us and gave us everything we needed. Nice touches in the interior that made it all feel special. We always love to be able to cosy up a space with a wood burner and the bed was very comfortable. A great night's sleep. Lucky to have a clear night sky and enjoy a great view of the stars. Hardly any light pollution which is rare these days! It rained during our visit and the decking and planks on the walkway to the toilet get very slippy in the wet.
- Anna (10/5): Great stay - Remote location, great facilities
- Stephen (10/5): A perfect lication. - The perfect, peaceful location was ideal to recharge your batteries. The amazing lodge has everything anybody could need for a relaxing holiday. The bed is perfect for a peaceful nights sleep.
- Carly Rowland (10/5): What a magical place - If you stay anywhere, stay at Serenity Lodge! On arriving, having the wheelbarrows to transport our things to the lodge was an experience and really made us giggle. Through the woods, crossing the bridge and seeing the lodge was beautiful. Set all on it's own with only the sounds of the birds, the trickling water and the odd cow was incredibly peaceful.
The lodge itself has everything you could need. We cooked outside on the open fire every night, sat under the stars on the terrace wrapped up in the cosy blankets.
The bed is to die for! So comfy and cosy and to wake up and look out at the view with a coffee in hand is definately going to be missed.
I must say I was a little apprehensive about the composting toilet but it is so well done and super clean.
Carly and Paul are incredible hosts and provided plenty of information before arriving.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Absolutely nothing but listen to the advice and dont travel in a low profile car! We went in my Peugeot instead of my husbands low car which managed just fine but I was gritting my teeth at moments.
- Nicky (10/5): A Gem in the wonderful Welsh Countryside. - Serenity Lodge was in a wonderful location. Peaceful, secluded. Everything you would need. Amazing bed, lovely shower, all the utensils and pots and pans for cooking outside.
The owners were very helpful and communicative and left us a lovely surprise of some marshmallows and skewers.
The toilet outside was so we'll done for a compost toilet and the best view we've ever had from a toilet. It wasn't a downfall for us as we enjoy an adventure but prepare yourself for the track driving in and short walk to the lodge but it's well worth the effort and makes the break a great talking point.

- Jesper (10/5): - An absolute gem, this was hitting the jackpot for us. All we hoped for and more!
- Joseph (10/5): The most serene little corner of the world 😊 - We had the most relaxing time in the most serene spot, honestly didn’t have to see another human if we didn’t want to! The bed is ridiculously comfy and the doors allow outdoor/indoor living. Carly and Pete have taken such attention to detail with the lodge, there is everything you would need. We shall be returning! We honestly didn’t want for anything.
- Amy (10/5): Lovely escape away for weekend…cooking outside, lodge had everything we needed, quiet location off grid no wifi real esc - Lovely comfortable Nothing
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamil (10/5): Exceptional - Nice lovely place in superb location for escape from city
Very clean and super comfortable bed
Nice fireplace and bush around the lodge with little river very beautiful place very recommended
Definitely we will back
- Amy (10/5): Truly serene - Absolutely gorgeous location - so peaceful with just the sound of the stream! Exactly what we wanted for switching off from the world. The lodge itself was warm and cosy, with a lovely large bed, hot shower, and amenities for light cooking. We loved it all and thought the only thing that would make it even better would be a fold out table top at the side of the kitchenette for an extra space when making food / washing up
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely evening with hot food by the fire, and after there was a clear night with stars to look at.
Unfortunately, my wife fell ill with a chest infection during Storm Bert, so we had to leave early. The lane drive to the lodge was a very slow crawl. If I had my car, we would have had to ask for a carly for a lift.
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was amazing, remote location, quietness and the open space around was what we needed to truly recharge our batteries and connect with nature.
The lodge had everything we needed and had warmed up quite quickly in cold November night.
- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional - Just returned from an amazing stay at Serenity Lodge. The photos don't even do it justice! So peaceful & relaxing in a beautiful location. The attention to detail in the cabin is amazing and some lovely touches like the welcome hamper and milk. We were lucky enough for a clear night and the stars were out of this world. We already can't wait to rebook!
- Patricia (10/5): Beautiful, serene, peaceful bit of serenity! - If you want a night or two away from reality in a beautiful location, back to nature then look no further. We loved everything about this stay. The location, the little touches, the lodge, the peace and quiet! We stayed for 2 nights, cooked on the campfire, watched the stars and enjoyed cosy nights in front of the fire. We didn’t want to leave! The wheelbarrow and hamper were lovely little touches that just added to the experience. Can’t wait to come back again
- Kimberly (10/5): Cute and cosy weekend getaway - The lodge is lovely and has everything you need. The fire cooking set was also great and we loved the outdoor loo with a view. The wheelbarrows for your luggage was also a fun novelty! Nothing.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Owners were great lots off communication
Lodge its self is spotless,
in a remote quiet area
on a night sat outside watching the stars listing to the stream/River lovely and relaxing
The lodge it self has everything you need Nothing
- Abbi (10/5): One of the best weekends of my life. Went to celebrate my 30th with my boyfriend, we rebooked the same day we came home! - The privacy, the peacefulness, the scenery, just everything! Absolutely nothing.
- Michael (10/5): Cosy, wild, off grid with something very special when it comes to spending time outside listening to the river and watc - The sound of the river, whilst lying in bed under a fur blanket, watching the rain, the sun rise, and the morning sun lighting up the trees. The wheelbarrows are a must for moving your luggage and really made us laugh, so much fun thank you so much. Nothing. It was perfect!
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meemee (10/5): Perfect getaway away from the busy city! - The property was clean and well equipped N/A
- Michael (9/5): A little haven of peace - Beautifully decorated, tranquil, and exceptionally clean. The little welcome hamper was a nice touch. Loved that the only things you could hear was the river flowing at the end of the meadow, birds and the odd sheep. No human noises what so ever. Wished we could have stayed longer. We couldn't find a plug for the kitchen sink which made washing pots a little tricky.
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional - The location was beautiful! The bumpy country road was worth the idyllic views, which were quiet and peaceful. We cooked on the outdoor fire and watched the stars in the evening. It was a lovely break from the hussle and bussle. We can't wait to return. NA
- Dean (10/5): Perfect getaway for me and my partner to relax even though it rained we could sit and listen to the rain. So peaceful - It’s our 3rd time there. And it’s just perfect for us. Nothing
- Patricia (9/5): Amazing -
- V (8/5): Highly recommend - The location and how it was back to nature. Being of grid. It being in the middle of nature, stream, all the options of outdoor and indoor.
- Benjamin (10/5): Very relaxing stay in nature - Such a lovely location! Wonderful lodge with all the things you need to spend a relaxing weekend. Very minor point: there is an LED light strip outside, which is on at night. Couldn’t find any switch to turn it off.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect the pictures don’t do it justice not a person in sight. Most relaxing weekend break I’ve had….. would definitely book again.
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing memories, the whole experience was incredible. - Serenity lodge exceeded all expectations. The lodge and location was just perfect. The bed WOW. I highly recommend a visit to Serenity lodge, we will 100% be visiting again. Nothing
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Location was absolutely idyllic. We had a wonderful 2 night stay away from everything. The bed was so comfortable, and the lodge was great.
- Reeti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (10/5): Simply amazing - Beautiful hidden location. Such a lovely peaceful getaway.
- Stijn (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful little lodge with nothing but nature around, very enjoyable place to stay.
Come prepared for a remote stay with no power, but they provide firewood and bring fresh ice to keep any food fresh, lovely place to stay!
Unfortunately I had to lower my score for this beautiful place due to the lack of communication about the road to get there, it's not a problem in any suv or in most normal cars, but this place is inaccessible for sports or low cars and needs to be advertised as such. The lodge is inaccessible for sports or low cars and needs to be advertised as such.
There was no warning of this before booking until we got an email on the day of our booking that the road was "a little rough due to the weather but every car can make it" when that is absolutely not true as I bottomed out many times and it would have been impossible to get there with my previous car.
I also wasn't able to message the owner during our stay, I could only see messages they sent us but could not reply.
I think this is a problem with booking rather than the owner though.
- Donna (10/5): Serenity lodge - Everything! It was just perfect! Couldn't have asked for anything more. The location is amazing, so peaceful. That's all you can hear is the stream and wildlife.... Heaven! The lodge was spotless with everything you needed for a cosy stay. The bed was so comfy that we had the best sleep. Carly and Paul were the best hosts. They couldn't do enough to make our stay magical. They catered for everything we needed, even down to marshmallow and sticks to roast on the fire. I would highly recommend this lodge if u want to get away and enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. We will definitely be going back to this beautiful little lodge. There was nothing that I would want to change about our stay.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and peaceful location!
- Louis (10/5): We wish we could stay forever! - We liked how cosy, rustic and just how out the way it was. The full time we were there we had no clue or the time or day, we were just in out own world which we loved!
- Kirsty (10/5): It was perfect, would come back again. - Very remote and off the grid. Was a perfect getaway for my boyfriends birthday. Everything was clean, comfortable and well thought out. Nothing.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (10/5): Pure peace, solitude, privacy - The lodge, location, access and setting was described in detail through the booking process so you are well prepared. Everything had been thought of and provided for. Loved it.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Great touch having the plunge pool! Secluded and didn't see a single person! - Serenity is a wonderful place to drop off the map! Carly and Paul are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We loved how we could relax and re charge whilst listening to the river, birds and animals. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable, warm and clean
- Archer-lamb (10/5): Beautiful place - The location was absolutely beautiful and Paul and Carly couldn’t have been more helpful. It was so peaceful waking up to the sound of the river and birds in the morning. Stunning place ! Completely out of hosts hands but the decking was really slippery due to rain and we did slip a couple of times so just need to be cautious when walking outdoors in the rain
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. Romantic location. Amazing facilities and the comfiest bed ever. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely remote location with nothing but Mother Nature around you! We cooked most nights on the camp fire whilst sipping alcohol. We were lucky as we stayed over the hottest weekend in august during a national heatwave and the lodge is a lovely sun trap to sit and soak up the rays! If the sky is clear, stargazing is a must! You may even see the odd shooting star! Highly recommend!!!
- Jai (10/5): Exceptional -
