Guest Reviews
- Emma (8/5): Great!! - This place was very nice. Staff superfriendly and a lovely rooftopterrace to chill out and watch the view. Very walkable central location, it was a superrelaxing stay Not bad, but be prepared for bugs, youre in the middle of nature so sometimes they are in the room.
Also the room was really hot at night, one fan wasnt working properly so it was hot.
But honestly tiny things, this place is wonderful
- Jordan (10/5): - Really cool hostel, all the staff are super chill and friendly. The beds in the dorm are all pretty new with memory foam toppers, very comfy. Great view of the mountains from the rooftop (and when I was there they were just finishing building a bar on the roof so that should be there when you go). Location is perfect too, 10 mins walk from the bus station, a small shop next door and restaurants and markets a couple streets over. Highly recommend staying here.

- Eitan (10/5): Amazing vibe and views! - The view to have the breakfast. The configuration of the room.
- Enrique (8/5): Xantolo en Xilitla - La ubicación y terraza
- Ayala (10/5): -
- Faye (10/5): Exceptional - Nice staff. Great location, near bus station and center. Nice views. Very clean and comfy. Breakfast included, great value. I had the dorm to myself.
- Vera (7/5): Good - The location is good and it was nice to have a kitchen and even a breakfast. It was very hot in the room so if you have trouble sleeping a place with AC might be worth it.
- Pia (10/5): Exceptional - I had a wonderful stay in Anamaya Hostel. Warm welcome by the owner, clean facilities, big kitchen to use, perfect location... Everyone was really friendly. I spent a lot of time relaxing and talking on the terrace talking, reading, enjoying the view... I can definitely recommend!
- Mitchell (9/5): Superb - Need working fans
- Lilia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shazia (5/5): Passable - I liked the patio, the kitchen and the openspace. We arrived like 5 in the morning and I asked if we could leave our bags in the hostel and stay in the common area untill our room was ready, but the owner repleyed that we had to pay half of the room rate to be able to enter! The room rate was even more than we payed at booking. com! We came in with a code so there was nobody to receive us.. They just wanted to charge us!
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - It was already my second stay in the hostel and I really love Xilitla and the hostel. Its super clean, wonderful rooftop terrace, supernice and friendly owners and staff. Great location, super close to the centre, but in a peaceful neighbourhood and everything else also can be reached by foot. If you want a relaxed holiday surrounded by nature, its your place to go.
- Gordon (7/5): Acceptable place to stay in Xilitla - This is a small property, with one room with bunkbeds for sharing hostel style, and another room with two beds and a private bathroom where we stayed. There's a common area with a table and basic cooking facilities, and above that a terrace with a nice view. No one was staying in the shared room so we had the place to ourselves, which made it quite comfortable and convenient. If there were other guests it wouldn't be so great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the central plaza, so that was convenient. This place is a bit basic, but it was acceptable.
- Dana (5/5): I wouldn't stay here again. - Great and kind staff. Beautiful view from the roof terrace. I didn't like the room. We had a cockroach in the room and many ants.
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maeva (10/5): Exceptional -
- H.völker (9/5): Superb -
