Everything was appealing, Imessaged to ask for early check in on the day and they informed me that they were cancelling the booking. The room was £170 for 3 days and I wasn't given the refund I had no where to stay I had to borrow money for another booking £160 otherwise I would have had no money and nowhere to stay. I am disabled and was travelling on my own. Like I said if I hadn't have called I would've paid for a taxi to get there and pay for one to thr property I did get. Absolutely appalling and honestly ruined a much needed visit to family I have multiple health issues and most flare ups triggered by stress
Sorry about long essay but I think it was a must for customers to know. They also put on booking.com that I had cancelled therefore i wouldn't receive a refund. Booking.com sorted the issue out, buti didnt get a refund for 2 months due to owners not acknowledging mine and Booking.com messages and emails

- Mayall (1/5): Absolutely disgusted - Nothing The fact I drove 250 miles to be there for early access and paid extra for that. They then 1 hour later after trying to contact them I got a message to say it was no longer available and had been double booked which meant I had to drive back home same day as no accommodation available in Oldham and surrounding area because of 2 big matches on in Manchester. Not happy I want a full refund and I suggest you get them off your site. Anything like this happens again I will never use your company ever again
- paul (1/5): Do not recommend couldn’t even get in property!! And host not contactable - We were turned away on arrival stating they do not rent rooms. Tried multiple times to contact the host but could not with the number provided so had to find alternative accommodation. Booking won’t refund as property say they cancelled our booking and property lied and said they would sort it but have not dealt with it or contacted me just kept my money.

- Darren (1/5): Shocking - Nothing Everything

- Favour (1/5): Unpleasant - Nothing It was looking dirty, and it smelled like smoke, there was a vape on the floor. The room wasn’t as advertised. We had to leave room and find somewhere else to go stay.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (4/5): In need of improvement - The host was friendly The bed was not comfortable, and there was no bedside lamp, which meant turning on/off the light on the far side of the room. The walls had tape all around them and the TV sat on the table leaning against the wall. There was also nowhere to hang your clothes or coat.
- Fox (1/5): Bad - Nothing I couldn't even get in and not singed posted
- Lukasz (9/5): Superb -
- Safina (8/5): Very good -
- Berenyi (1/5): Bad - We couldn't get access. Looking for another room
- Ezumah (10/5): A Perfect One-Night Stay with Wonderful Hosts - I had an amazing one-night stay at this cosy accommodation hosted by the most pleasant and welcoming hosts. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations.
The room ambience was exceptional—better than some hotels I’ve stayed in. It had a warm, homely feel with a fresh, clean scent that instantly made me feel comfortable. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need for my stay, making it truly a home away from home.
The highlight of my stay was the breakfast. The hosts went above and beyond to provide everything I needed for breakfast, saving me the stress of going out without having breakfast. This added an extra touch of care and hospitality to the experience.
This stay was not only comfortable but also incredible value for money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and well-maintained accommodation.
Rating: 5/5 On getting to the Close, locating the exact house number on Google Maps was a bit tricky, however calling the host to get proper direction to the house sorted that for me.
- Buckley (6/5): Pleasant - A peaceful break that wasn't interrupted by anything. Very warm and cozy room.
- Clinton (7/5): Comfortable, but needs attention - The location and the free parking. Attention to detail!
Coffee and tea making facilities provided, but no coffee mug or tea cup .
A shower is installed, but the bracket is loose so the showerhead sprays out of the enclosure .
There are two radiators in the room, but both of them are half full of air so they don’t give out much heat.
There is a large TV with remote, but only one channel, BBC One, will play .
- Cain (8/5): Very good - Location ideal. Nice welcome and farewell. Lovely comfy bed and en suite. Was great for the occasion. Nothing not to like.
- David (1/5): Bad - Nice area .. clean and tidy room Top if building.. toaster sitting on top of microwave that was on the floor ???
