- KBr2020 (1/5): DO NOT BOOK : Undisclosed non refundable charge and multiple issues - Location Although the property will say that there is information on this site advising you of an additional "security deposit" I have screenshots showing this to be false and at no point is this noted pre booking. They will send you offsite links to "verify your booking" which is actually a contract advising you to either pay a non refundable deposit of £29.99 or they will hold up to £350 for up to 14 days. They will not provide your access codes until this is paid.
The property had multiple failures:
1. Access codes initially provided were incorrect, causing us to be late for a restaurant booking. This was remedied, but only after multiple calls
2. When we returned to the apartment late at night, we found that there was no heating or hot water. The apartment was at just above 12°C. There were two plug in radiators to heat the entire apartment, meaning that the main lounge/kitchen was unusable for our stay as it was too cold. The radiaters could obviously not be used in bathrooms so we were unable to use bath/shower as it was far far too cold.
3. Large damp patch/peeling paint in bedroom 2
4. Other minor facility issues such as lamp missing bulb, loose toilet seat, shallow sinks that splash back water.
In over 50 bookings on this site and another booking platform this is the first negative review I have ever given. I feel dissapointed, upset and completely let down.

3 cups for 8 people which wasn’t great for cups is tea / coffee in the morning!
Not all bedding needed had sheets on them/ pillowcases
I think this place is really 7 people max and if a child present then 8
- Wiratama (9/5): - Location, location, location! This flat is right in the heart of the city — just steps away from supermarkets, restaurants, and shops.
The apartment is spacious and located on the 3rd floor, with two bathrooms and all the essentials (including a dishwasher and washing machine). The towels were wonderfully soft and fluffy, and the beds very comfortable.
Check-in and check-out were super easy through the app, and communication with the host via WhatsApp was smooth and straightforward. Heater in one bedroom didn't work but we got provided a portable heater which worked like a charm.
The bedrooms face an inner courtyard with the ventilation systems of nearby restaurants. You can hear a low humming noise at night, especially since windows in England typically don’t have double glazing.

- Lydia (8/5): - It is a nice apartment with comfortable beds, spacious living area/kitchen and nice bathrooms. Following the instructions, it was easy to find the apartment. There was a lift for easy access and the instructions for the main entrance - code and front door key lock were easy to follow. There was no hair dried available, which caused some issues. There was a kettle available, but would love to have a basic coffee/tea selection, like you would in a hotel.
There was also a £30 'security fee' (which would not cover any damages if occured) after the booking, which was not mentioned earlier. As the booking was non refundable, there was no other option than to pay this fee. There is no issue with the fee itself, but this should be communicated when the apartment price was offered to have clarity and option to accept the additional charge or look for an alternative accommodation.

- Kelly (2/5): Not up to Booking.com standards - N/A I was contacted by a third party for a security deposit. I had to contact Booking twice to verify it’s legitimacy.
We received a message less than 24 hours prior to check in informing us that the rented property was “unable to accommodate” us with no further details.
The replacement property we were assigned was in a different location with 8 flights of stairs to access the bedrooms which we needed to climb with full suitcases. This was a significant physical challenge.
Kitchen cleanliness was unacceptable and couches has visible stains.
As a long standing Booking.com customer this did not meet my expectations.
I would not have accepted the replacement property if given other options but due to already being enroute from overseas when I was made aware of this poorly communicated change, I was left without alternative.
I would not recommend booking properties with this host.

- Cheryl (7/5): Enjoyed our stay just a few issues that can be fixed, a really lovely apartment which we all enjoyed our stay there. - Very modern and nice decor. Location is excellent. Could do with a wardrobe /coat hanging facility. Bedroom 1 has absolutely no storage for clothes have to live out of suitcase. The toilets flush very hot water and the plug in the bath when using shower needs attention, if you stand on it while showering it won’t release.
