The rooms were a bit tight. The parking lot was full and was not easy to get out. The vanity cabinet with mirror was too high. We can get a good use of it. It seems happened to both rooms.

The morning of our check out when we were having breakfast and packing our things, the owner/manager came and ask us to leave earlier because "they wanted to prepare the room for the next guests". - SALLY WAN (9/5): Value for money. I highly recommend this place. - Clean, modern furnishings, quiet neighbourhood. Our assigned room #1 is spacious. Strong and hot shower. Overall, the house has a homely vibe. The room door lock mechanism is quite confusing. You have to turn the knob facing inside of the room to horizontal, otherwise the room won’t lock from the outside after you exit. Took me many trials to figure it out.

Also we had parking for 3 of the 4 nights of our stay…we arrived back to the property late one evening to find there was no parking available and being unfamiliar with the city we didn’t know where to go or what to do. We reached out by phone and text to Amy’s but got no reply. We eventually parked quite a distance away hoping we didn’t get towed.

- David (7/5): Basic room with private bathroom. - Big modern home. Good neighbourhood. We were in room #6. Large bedroom with a couch large attached modern bathroom. Good large shower. I think all the rooms are on the 2nd level. Off street parking. There’s a common fridge in the large hallway. A very hard bed so not comfortable for us. No TV. Wifi was spotty. You will likely never see the owners so seems unfriendly in that sense but I think they live there.

- Jennifer (8/5): Nice stay close to Vancouver airport. - Amy’s guesthouse is in a quiet area relatively close to the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there are also many other rooms rented out at Amy’s, so if you may run into other guests. The WiFi signal was good and the bed and shower was very comfortable. I had a slight mishap where the door to the bathroom malfunctioned and I had to call the owner for help to get out. Thankfully, the owner was very responsive, otherwise I would have been stuck in the bathroom all night!

- Thanhtu (8/5): A convenient stay for a short trip - The location was convenient for us, as we were visiting family in Richmond. The shower stalls were modern, plenty of hot water. The rooms were clean. Check-in was easy. We booked 2 double rooms on Booking.com. When we arrived, there was only one double room and one king room assigned to us. The owner explained to us the other double room was a connected room for family, & was not available to book as stand-alone. Besides, some family had booked it. Somehow Booking.com was not aware of that. Also, there was some sewage smell in the double room we stayed. We notified the owner, he said he would look into it. Other than these two issues, everything went well.
