Guest Reviews
- Sean (8/5): Lovely home to stay on outskirts of Chester - Very spacious home with everything you need and more with lots of places nearby to eat and shop A bit of a walk into Chester
- Emmie (10/5): -
- Trevor (8/5): Great time in a great location - Location was great, beds comfy Rooms could have been doing with a good dusting.
Bedrooms felt stuffy.
- Filippo (8/5): -
- kerry (8/5): Great location - Great location. Tidy inside. Pool table was good touch too. Nice size for 4 people. Beds uncomfortable, especially in bigger bedroom. Was no cutlery at all, not 1 piece, so had to buy some from Sainsbury's nearby which we found strange but didn't dampen our stay.
- Helen (10/5): Any questions we has were answered. Had a n earlier check-in time (it was a Christmas Day. Had a brilliant stay. Very cl - The location and cut was a home from home There wasn’t anything to dislike
- Thomas (9/5): - Bath rooms, pool table kitchen, lovely house4 💯💯👌👌👌 The light above pool table, not bright, loved it all
- Richard (8/5): -
- Aeddan (8/5): -
- Lyndon (9/5): Great accommodation - Excellent stay. The location is great. Lovely shops l, pubs and restaurants in the local area and easy walk into Chester centre. Would definitely recommend and stay again Nothing
- joanne (5/5): For me, when I stay away the most basic thing is a good nights sleep . That was not easy here - The location was great, further away from Chester than described, but in a lovely area. The kitchen and bathroom were good. The beds were really very uncomfortable, creaky and old. The blinds let in a lot of light, so if you like a dark room there is no hope.
Cleanliness was ok but not good.
The sofas were also uncomfortable
Not good value for money.
- Heidi-Bee (8/5): - Likte området til leiligheten svært godt. Koselig leilighet og rent. Ble et lite stykke og gå inn til sentrum.

- Chris Porritt (9/5): Great location and venue. - The location of the venue is in a lovely community area with local pubs, restaurants, convenience stores and more. Just a short walk from Chester City Centre and a short drive from the Zoo. The house is very modern and clean with a good layout. All amenities are catered for and covered. Unfortunately the furniture wasn't very comfortable. The 'double beds' are singles pushed together with a sharp meeting point in the middle when connected and the sofa beds downstairs make for overly firm uncomfortable seating as a couch.
Finally, the steep step into the bathroom is a fall risk, especially at night if you're unfamiliar with the layout.
- Laura (10/5): Handy for chester and nearby attractions - The house was really lovely and well equipped. The courtyard was lovely to relax too. The location was good with only a 15 minute walk into Chester, even with our 6 year old son! The local shops and restaurants were handy giving options for evening meals without venturing out too far. Great communication for instructions on accessing the property and check out arrangements. Great location for the zoo and other attractions just a short journey away One of the beds wasn't particularly comfortable and the sofa beds in the lounge were really uncomfortable to sit on. Parking was a little bit of a problem on one of the days but managed to park on a street close by, watch out for the one way street situation and watch for signs though as some sections of the roads nearly have restrictions.
- Suzanne (10/5): - Beautiful house with all required amenities, and lovely and clean. Located on a lovely high street, with lots of great local small businesses. Area was very dog friendly which was great as we took our Cockapoo with us.
- Johannes (9/5): - De ligging in een hele leuke wijk. Niets
- Neil (8/5): -
- Annette (5/5): Good location, hosts were very responsive, expected more overall for the price. - Location was great. Sitting area outside, pool table, living room cozy. The surfaces were wiped, but whole place needs a good clean. Knives are dangerously dull and master bedroom creaks so loud we had to prop it open so it would not wake up others.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great location, walkable into the city centre and on a street with pubs, shops and restaurants.
Property was as per the images and perfect for a group / family getaway
Great communication from hosts too to make it easy
- Spanspan22 (9/5): Great location. - Lovely location. Pretty quiet area with no issues with checking in. The House was clean and tidy. The back bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were great. Lovely addition to being able to play pool or table tennis in the dining room. The front bedroom mattress was a little uncomfortable from the springs. Not so much that I didn't like but if you are a little off on balance be careful as the staircase is steep with a big drop step to the bathroom. This was ok for us but just making some people aware.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (8/5): Great location and bathroom - Great Location
Spacious and well set out, great bathroom with jacuzzi and Bluetooth speaker mirror.
Games room good fun Some areas looked a little tired, lots of scuffs on walls, which could do with a quick touch up.
Beds are a little uncomfortable, as were the sofas in the living room
Parking is awkward on a busy street
- Jason (9/5): Great location. Lovely house for a short break away. - The location on the high street is great. A number of pubs, cafes, shops and takeaways all withing 200 yards of the front door.
A 15 minute walk into the centre of Chester.
Defo would stay again here and will recommend to friends and family members.
Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, cups and pan etc. Parking is a small issue as its on a terrace street. But there was always a spot to park somewhere along the street.
- Laura (8/5): Amazing little place! - The games room got a lot of use and was an excellent additional feature. The kitchen has everything you need and is modern. The heating and security of the property is great. Beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location with shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and more right on your doorstep.
We will definitely come and stay again! Thank you! The back decking had lots of cigarette butts so we had to sweep them aside so our dog didn't get them. It is winter and some things are unavoidable, possibly the previous guests smoked and it's just been missed by the cleaner before our arrival.
- Mr (8/5): Nice little cosy house. - The bathroom and the pool table were good entertainment and kept us busy throughout our stay. The house was very cosy. Apart from fact, there was no cutlery or espresso cups in the kitchen that's about it.
- Emma (8/5): Spacious house - great location - Great location - lovely restaurants in the high street and close to Chester City Centre. House was spacious. Parking was a little difficult on the Friday when we arrived, however Saturday morning we were able to move the car to a space right outside the house.
- Dawn (10/5): A birthday celebratory city break with the daughters! - Fabulous location - within easy walking distance of Chester city centre, but a lovely high street right outside the door with cosy pubs, eateries, a supermarket and individual shops.
Great communication from the hosts who responded quickly and in a very friendly and approachable manner to all inquiries. We were made to feel very welcome.
The property was very comfortable and had all facilities we needed. There was a lovely outdoor area at the back which we were unable to use in the winter, but a good reason to come back again in the summer! Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): A great base for a weekend in Chester. - A lovely house in a great location. Close to lots of places to eat. Very stylish and comfortable property, well furnished with comfy beds. Loved the ping pong and pool dining table and the jacuzzi bath! Parking was tricky at times as there wasn’t always a space available on the road outside the house.
- Sarah (9/5): Great stay here again! - Good location as we have relatives in Hoole. Lots of lovely shops, cafes, bars in Faulkner Street. It is the second time we have stayed here. Everything you would need is in the house so it is very comfortable and home from home.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Well appointed house in a great location! Everything was catered for. No complaints.
- Lindascott (10/5): Lovely place. We had a great stay.
Nice host. Great location. - Beds comfortable. Facilities excellent. Location good. Plenty of eating places nearby. The wooden decking in the back yard not suitable for us because of our dog being used to grass. Local park good though.
- Jennifer (10/5): An attractive house in an excellent location. - The house was great, we really loved the convertible dining table/pool table/table tennis! Very nicely decorated throughout, and comfy beds. The location in Hoole was fantastic, we nearly didn't go into Chester at all as we had everything we needed on Faulkner Street - a great choice of pubs and independent shops and businesses. The food and wine at the Faulkner Arms (just across the road) was exceptional, we ate there on two nights. Convenient bus stop at the end of the road for getting around (including going to Chester Zoo one day). The only criticism we had was that although the living room furniture looked very nice, the sofas weren't comfortable to sit on and watch telly.
- Rhys_caerdydd (9/5): Superb - The location was a short walk along the canal in the lovely area of Hoole, near a few local pubs and restaurants Convertible dining to poole table was great. House immaculately clean.
- Dimitar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (9/5): Excellent accommodation for a family of 5 and their dog. Very good value for money and would definitely book again. - The house is a great location with lots of shops and cafes only moments away. We really enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the sticky walnut restaurant which is just around the corner. The beds are comfortable and it is an added bonus to have the ping pong and pool table.
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Where it was close to good shops and pubs and eating places close to town taxi cheap getting back Everything was really good
- Miki (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Gemma (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great quality fittings, excellent condition, close to restaurants and shop, 15 mins walk into chester Limited on street parking
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Well presented, clean, good selection of white goods, good location for local shops and Chester city centre. Steps down I to the bathroom.
- Robert (8/5): The property was ideal for 4 people as there are only 4 beds, the sofa beds are so hard an metal pole running up the mid - Great location spotless clean Sofa beds in livingroom were not fit to sleep in, 2 guests had to sleep on floor as there were so uncomfortable
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angeline (1/5): Bad - Plenty of amenities on the street, and 15-20 minute walk into Chester Town center, for shopping and places to eat. When arriving, everywhere was dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned properly for months. It has 2 bedrooms, crumbs and dirt on the floor. Two click and clack sofa beds, embedded with stains and also full of dust and hairs on and around. Infested with small flies, greeted to the outside with bin bags piled up, the list goes on really....I was assured it had been cleaned when informing the company, and was asked would you like them to come back and clean? I replied no I will clean it, so great beginning to our family holiday!
- Rebecca (9/5): Lovely house in great location - Super location at the end of the high street in Hoole.
Great decor - and kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery etc.
15minute walk to Chester shops, or very short taxi ride.
Hosts answered any queries very quickly. Parking is on the road - quite a busy little street but we always found a space.
- Daniel (10/5): Lovely clean house . - Lovely clean house and well presented. Location is great as it’s a small Uber ride into the city , the street that the house is located on has lots to offer also. Overall a great stay.
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentina (10/5): one of the best ,clean and beautiful home I ever stay - very cozy and clean everything was amazing
