• Elisabeth (9/5): Ein super schönes und bequemes Hotel mit sehr herzlicher Atmosphäre und fantastischer Lage. - Dieses Hotel kann ich zu 100% empfehlen. Wir waren drei Tage hier und haben verlängert, weil es uns so gut gefiel. Die Lage ist außerordentlich, mitten im Zentrum, das ganze Haus und die Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Vor allem die Atmosphäre und das Personal waren fabelhaft: sie waren jederzeit ansprechbar, extrem freundlich, haben uns mit all unseren Anliegen sehr schnell und zuverlässig geholfen. Die große Dachterasse bietet einen wundervollen Ausblick, Tee, Kaffee und Kekse laden zum Verweilen ein, allein oder auch für sehr nette Begegnungen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Es hat uns nicht sehr gestört, doch man sollte darauf gefasst sein, dass häufig neue Gäste anreisen, bzw. Leute in der Gegend ausgehen und man sie abends/nachts auf den Gängen hört, wenn sie spät anreisen/heimkommen.

• Alejandra (5/5): Central, barato, aceptable - La terraza tiene una vista maravillosa. La regadera de la ducha estaba parcialmente tapada. La habitación era calurosísima. El entorno es muy ruidoso y como no hay aire acondicionado es peor al abrir la ventana. Era una habitación económica en todo caso, pero hay mejores lugares por ese precio.
• Scarlette (8/5): buena - muy acogedor, tiene una vista muy linda, cerca de todo lo turístico, muy tranquilo en la noche me hubiera gustado que tuviese un mini frigobar en la habitacion y aire acondicionado
• Paula Pelayo (9/5): - La localización está genial en un lugar céntrico de Valpo y uno de los cerros mas turísticos. Nada peligroso. El personal muy amable, la habitación muy bien, y las vistas desde la azotea son espectaculares
• Valentina (9/5): Me encantó - Me gustó mucho el Hostel, está en un punto muy turístico de Valparaíso, podías moverte a muchos lugares caminando o con locomoción de fácil acceso. El lugar es limpio, las señoras que nos recibieron fueron muy amables, la habitación muy bonita, el lugar tiene un salón como comedor en el último piso donde puedes ver gran parte de la ciudad. Si vuelvo a visitar la ciudad me volvería a hospedar acá :) Tal vez fue por que coincidimos con el Festival de viña, pero un día sábado llegó bastante gente de noche y madrugada, hablando fuerte y metiendo ruido, las habitaciones al dar a un pasillo principal se escucha todo, pero fue sólo ese detalle.

• Fleisch (8/5): Great Place to stay at a modest cost. - Much more than I expected for such a modest price. The owner was extremely helpful and seemed concerned for me, because I was traveling alone. There was coffee, tea and cookies 24hrs a day, as well as a shared refridgerator and microwave. There is an atrium on the 3rd floor and the location was EXCELLENT!!! Not much.

• François (7/5): expérience sympathique dans un bâtiment typique des collines de Valparaiso - l'emplacement en plein Cerro Alegre est idéal, belle vue depuis la cafétéria commune Ce qui n'est pas précisé dans l'offre de l'hôtel est que bon nombre de chambres n'ont pas de fenêtre sur l'extérieur, mais sur le hall intérieur, donc pas d'air frais (et pas de vue), ce qui peut être inconfortable, voire désagréable pour les personnes un peu claustrophobes. Par ailleurs, les hôtes n'ont pas la clé de la porte principale et doivent à chaque fois sonner, parfois avec insistance le matin, et attendre, parfois longtemps, que quelqu'un daigne venir ouvrir (dans notre cas, c'est une cliente qui a fini par descendre nous ouvrir!). La réception est rarement occupée et il faut bien planifier les choses (paiement, départ, etc). Ceci dit, le personnel est très sympathique!

• Hector Raul (8/5): - El hotel es cómodo. No sirven desayuno pero tiene una buena terraza con comodidades para comer, utensilios y heladera. La terraza tiene vista hacia la ciudad y el puerto. El personal muy atento y diligente. La ubicación INMEJORABLE! En pleno pasaje Dimalow, muy animado y cerca de todo! Muy recomendable! Nos tocó una habitación bastante pequeña que le faltaban superficies de apoyo. Teníamos las valijas en el suelo. Había habitaciones mas grandes pero no pedimos el upgrade.

• Harm Pieter (10/5): Super verblijf - Fantastisch locatie middenin Cerro Alegre. Tussen de gekleurde huizen en vlakbij de kabel lift. En Restaurants om je heen. Een fijne rustige kamer met een fijn matras en een lekkere warme douche. Op het dak terras kun genieten van het uitzicht met gratis koffie of thee.

• Berti (9/5): Una ubicación increíble y a muy buen precio. - La ubicación es excelente. La vista desde el comedor es excepcional. Tiene un espacio para guardar comida si uno quiere prepararse un desayuno. Está al lado de uno de los ascensores y tiene bares y almacenes muy cerca. Mi ventana daba a la calle y era un poco ruidosa, no creo que eso sea un problema en las otras habitaciones. La ducha era un poco pequeña, puede ser un problema para gente alta.

• Aaron (7/5): Excellent location - Very good location, some of the best restaurants in Valparaiso are on the block. Excellent view from the top veranda. Very clean establishment. I had an interior room with a window that opened to the stairwell. No fan, no AC. If you stay here pay extra to get a room with an exterior window and sea view. Having to ring the bell and wait for someone to answer the front door each time you come back is inconvenient as well.

• Natalie (8/5): Clean and affordable private rooms in the center of Valparaiso - Simple but clean rooms, hot shower, nice common room with coffee, tea and cookies all day and an amazing view of the city and bay. Location very central with lots of restaurants in the same street, the area felt safe to me. There is no breakfast but a very good cafe for breakfast only a one minute walk away. It’s a bit inconvenient that they don’t give guests a key to the front door so you have to ring the doorbell every time you want to be let back in. That worked well most of the time but twice I had to wait ten or fifteen minutes until there was a reaction which especially in the evening made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

• Jacqueline (10/5): Great place, highly recommend - Perfect location to begin walking around. Extremely clean. The housekeepers work hard! I liked that each room has its own bathroom. Good value, nice rooftop eating area, good wifi, nice and helpful staff. Couldn’t get the tv to work, but most people probably won’t care about that. You need to ring the doorbell every time you want to be let back in, which made me worry about bothering people, but it is what it is

Outstanding location in Cerro Allegre, colorful and eclectic, lots of good restaurants all around, craft sellers set up shop right along the pathway the hotel is on. Incredible harbor and city views from top floor kitchen area. Recommended!

Really nice staff running it making it a very nice Hotel with good comunal spaces that are nice to spend time in especially the rooftop área has amazing views of central Valparasio especially at night. Only thing which would be nice to have would be a comunal kitchen.
• Nélio (7/5): Cool and Central hotel to stay in Valparaiso but with some limitations - Very central and the price was good (even though was low season). Free coffee and cookies was a plus and the fact that no breakfast is provided was fine to me considering all the tasty bakeries around. I stayed in the Nirvana room (single room). The room is very cold as it was winter and the window is old and does not isolate properly from the outside. Also, there is no central heating so the only way to sleep and avoid the cold is by putting 3-4 layers of blankets in the bed. I still had to sleep with my hoody to remain warm. The owners should consider placing a heating radiator in the room during the winter months. Also, during one of the nights I tried to take a shower to warm up and the water was just at body temperature. In the following day was fine though. Another downside is that no key is provided to open the outside door, so you need to ring the bell to enter every time you go out.
