Mark (9/5): We were very happy to stay at Pomalo Retreat and would do so again. - The location, about 20 minutes to the old town, was great. There was a large supermarket nearby and a smaller market a few minutes away. The apartment was quite large. The kitchen was a bit cramped but for two but no problems for one. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware and cooking amenities such as oil, balsamic vinegar and spices. There was lots of hot water and plenty of towels. The washing machine was easy to use. A couple more full sized pillows would be welcome. The sofas were ok to sit on but you could not lay down on them because of reinforcing bars transverse to the sofa length.
Javier (10/5): Días increíbles en Split - Pasamos unos días increíbles en el apartamento. Los propietarios son un encanto y nos trataron genial. Fuimos 6 personas y estuvimos súper agusto por lo grande que era. La ubicación también nos gustó, en seguida llegábamos al centro. También tiene plaza para dejar el coche. Lo recomendamos 😉 Todo perfecto

Anne (9/5): Appartement spacieux et fonctionnel, idéal pour une famille désirant visiter Split et ses alentours - La situation géographique : 15 mn à pied du centre historique et du port, supermarché à proximité. Appartement spacieux, fonctionnel, climatisation efficace, une place de stationnement. Les petits plus : un piano (même pas très accordé, il a fait le plaisir de ma fille), une console PS4 (mon fils était ravi), et merci pour les petits aimants faits maison 😊 La cuisine est très étroite (on ne peut pas se croiser ni passer quand le lave-vaisselle est ouvert) et il manque une machine à café !!!
Linda (10/5): A fantastic family and pet friendly apartment with free parking - Spacious two bedroom apartment with all the amenities, including a large balcony. There is a parking lot directly across the street, which is a relief as finding parking in Split can be very difficult. One parking spot is free for guests of the apartment, as arranged by the host. Walking to the old town is approximately 15-20 minutes, and there are convenience stores and eateries in the immediate neighbourhood. The apartment was very clean and felt homely and welcoming. It is also pet friendly, and as a quirky bonus, it also has a fully working piano. Overall, this is a fantastic stay for families and I would definitely book again. Although the kitchen is fully equipped and functional, it is small and doesn't have a lot of surface area for food preparation. It was fine for breakfasts, but cooking full meals may be a bit cramped.
