- Bradley (9/5): Will be staying again instead of the local motels - I booked the house for a week as an alternative to the motel which I usually stay at.
Only 6-7 minutes drive into town centre.
Just a work colleague and myself. Upfront cost for the house was more expensive than a motel but at the end of the day we were saving money because we didn’t need to go out for all our meals.
The other benefit was having room/space to float around and not feel like we were caged in or crawling on top of each other. Not hearing people coming and going at all hours (happens in the motel sometimes)
I’ll definitely be looking to book again when I’m down for more than a couple of nights.
The house is very spacious and SPOTLESSLY clean!
Towels and linen are crispy fresh. Shampoo, body wash and face washers provided.
Full kitchen (gas stove, electric oven, fridge, cutlery, plates, glasses etc).
Laundry, dishwasher etc.
Central heating/cooling worked well.
Quite a large place with 4 seperate bedrooms.
Nice quiet location.
Lock-up double garage which was good for security as my vehicle had tools inside it.
Close to the Cole’s supermarket to stock up on groceries. Only very minor things. Needs a knife sharpener in the draw as the cutting knives were blunt. Probably time to replace the fry pans. Battery in remote for garage was flat - Honestly, if any of these were an issue I’d have called the owner/agent as they were very communicative.
- Brian (9/5): Great for a group to explore town - It is a great location for us to get across Traralgon to so basketball games. The house is modern and very nice for our needs ( 5 Adults - one couple) although we could have all been couples ie 8 of us and it would have worked well.. The new Coles around the corner is great. Someone had taken some forks! there was enough plates and everything else for 8, just not forks. I It would be nice if places had enough cutlery for you not to have to wash-up between courses, but that seems to be the way of things ie every place we have stayed in seems to be like that.

- Carmelita (10/5): Great family home - The house is very spacious and clean - good for a large family or group of friends. While the house is not walking distance to the town centre, it is only 7-8 minutes away by car. The house is in a good, quiet location with a park/reserve nearby. I would definitely book it again when in Traralgon. It's a bit pricey as we only ended up staying 5 nights instead of 7 nights. I tried to change the number of nights but was told I might end up paying more. Anyway, it was all good in the end. The condition of the property, ease of check-in/check-out, and immediate response for any queries compensated for the price tag. 😀
