Sehr schönes Zimmer in absolut ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf den Garten und die Olivenbäume. Traumhaft! Leckeres Frühstück mit großer Auswahl in einem privaten Ambiente.
- Doris (10/5): - Nur ein paar Kilometer vom Gardasee entfernt, fanden wir diese Oase der Ruhe. Wir wurden sehr nett von Franceso empfangen (seine Frau Vittoria hat uns bereits vor unserer Ankunft auf Wunsch einen Tisch in einer nahe gelegen Osteria reserviert). Hilfe beim Gepäck haben wir auch bekommen. Alles extrem unkompliziert. Begrüßungsdrink ist innbegriffen und wenn man mehr möchte, dann einfach aus dem Barbereich nehmen und aufschreiben. Frühstück wird von den Gastgebern zubereitet und es wird auf Wünsche/Unverträglichkeiten eingegangen. Super ist auch, dass auf Müllvermeidung und Nachhaltigkeit geachtet wird. Wir waren nur für 1 Nacht auf der Durchreise, aber man hält es hier sicher länger aus! Danke für die nette Beherbergung. Nichts!

- Simone (10/5): A dream. Highly recommend. - The property is very close to the Garda Lake, but away enough to relax between vineyards and olive groves without the masses of tourists. The property itself has been immaculate restorated and evokes old times with modern amenities. The room was spacious and easy to access. A lift was also available, if needed. My dog (large breed) was very welcome and able to play in the beautiful olive grove and yard. The host and hostess were incredible nice and catered to any need. Both are artists and musicians and the caring feel was present everywhere on the property. There is the music room, a the bar area for the welcome drink and a relaxed breakfast room, overlooking the yard. There are also wonderful dining options in walking distance.

Proprietari disponibili e simpatici, con i quali è un piacere trascorrere un po’ di tempo a chiacchierare. L’unica cosa che cambierei sono i cuscini in camera. Sono veramente troppo bassi e inconsistenti.

Das Unternehmerpaar ist außerordentlich freundlich und bemüht. Wunderschönes Zimmer mit einem sehr guten Bett. Das Frühstück hat alles geboten, was man sich wünscht. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Perfekte Sauberkeit. Die äußerst zuvorkommenden Gastgeber und sehr freundliche Angestellte beim Frühstück. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Einziger Punkteabzug das Frühstück. Es war ausreichend, lecker und sehr ansprechend dekoriert aber es könnte abwechslungsreicher (nicht jeden Tag Schinken sondern vll mal Salami o.ä.) sein. Leider gab es jeden Tag das gleiche (a la carte). Für Italien wäre auch mal ein Cappuccino schön gewesen. Leider nur normaler Maschinencafe. Sonst alles in allem perfekter Urlaub!

- Erik (9/5): Wunderbare Lage in einem top renovierten Schloss - Traumhafte Lage in den Bergen über dem Gardasee, nicht weit an den See, aber eine unvergleichliche Ruhe. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und außergewöhnlich schön eingerichtet. Schöner Garten und Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Das „Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern“ ist eigentlich nur ein Familienzimmer. Eins der beiden Schlafzimmer hat keine Tür und das Bad erreicht man nur durch das andere Schlafzimmer. Als ich das ansprach, wurde mir nur schnippisch bedeutet, das hätte ich doch auf den Fotos sehen können, und zur Lösung ein weiteres Zimmer angeboten - natürlich gegen hohen Aufpreis. Draußen frühstücken durften wir nicht - weil das Wetter sich „manchmal schnell ändert“. Alles Kleinigkeiten, die aber zeigen, dass die Freundlichkeit hier nicht von Herzen kommt.

The peace for sleeping in beautifully decorated rooms, all the details of the stay, from a free glass of prosecco, or the machine to fill up your bottles with fizzy water. The lovely courtyard with lemon and olive trees. All the area surrounding corte Castello to walk your dog. We also got the music of the owner which was great. Ob Infos oder ein Taxi organisieren, es hat alles gepasst. Das Frühstück wurde sehr individuell gestaltet, dass hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Am Abfahrtstag wurde uns nach Rücksprache, Nachts um 3:00 AM ein komplettes Frühstück mit Kaffee bereit gestellt. Danke dafür !!! :-) Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden!!

Overall, we would still recommend Corte Castello Affi for its charm, hospitality, and location — just be prepared for warmer nights if you're staying during peak summer. The only downside was the air conditioning — it wasn’t very effective, especially during the hotter days. It made the nights a bit uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, after double-checking, I noticed that the apartment I booked did not mention that the bathroom is located inside one of the bedrooms. This meant the other couple/children/family had to walk through someone else’s bedroom to access the bathroom — which is quite inconvenient. At check-in, I was told this was clearly specified in the booking details, but this was not the case. We eventually switched to another available apartment. Also, the lack of air conditioning (understandable given the age of the building) or any cooling system made it very difficult to sleep at night, at least in the attic apartment where we stayed.

- will (7/5): A very friendly welcome and fantastic staff - Really helpful staff with such a warm welcome. I felt looked after at all times with any questions I had. Such a beautiful old property in the heart of the Italian countryside. The room got very hot as there was only a fan and not air con.

Its like visiting your friends. Its just the nature of a more remote place that the selection of restaurants or activities is not as vast. You just need to check that out beforehand.

- Marc (10/5): Entspannung pur und schnell am Gardasee - Es ist wie eine Zeitreise, man findet Ruhe vor dem Tourismus am Gardasee. Die Besitzer des Anwesend sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, beim Frühstück wir alles dafür getan, damit man sich so richtig wohl fühen kann. Pool mit Liegen laden zum Entspannen mit Prosecco und Wein ein. -
