• Konstantin (5/5): Could be much better, if the description in the platforms wouldn't omit essential deficiencies - Excellent location, nice harbor view. Very helpful staff. Breakfast OK, but see negative aspects below. To understand the deficiencies of this hotel, a short introduction is necessary. The hotel is located in a building listed as preservable, that in the past hosted the Commercial Bank of Greece, and uses (for the time being) only the upper 3 floors of the building (probably the private residence of the bank director). As a listed building, no modifications are allowed, and, thus, to reach the lift one has to climb a marble staircase (8 steps) without handrail. The same situation (no lift access) occurs for the roof-garden. This makes the hotel not suitable for impaired persons, something that is not mentioned in the hotel description. Because of the scarcity of space, breakfast is served in a tiny room adjacent to the hotel suites (which, given their size and arrangement, should be offered as junior suites, again something missing in the hotel description) or in the (not easily accessible) roof-garden. As a result, and probably in order not to disturb the guests with the breakfast noises, breakfast is served after 9:00 am, something not adequate for people needing to check out early. Finally, parking is offered at the municipal parking building situated 350 meters from the hotel, uphill, against a fee of 10 € per day. No valet service is offered. All this has to be seen against the price asked for a junior suite with harbor view: 400 € per night.

O estacionamento é possível num parque público a 200 metros. Excesso de fontes de luz no quarto durante a noite: no comando de parede do ar condicionado, no telefone, no interruptor geral, etc.

Omletler özellikle çok başarılıydı. Kahvaltı salonu sonderece temiz ve şıktı ancak o konumda bulunan bir otal için, salonun daha manzaralı bir alana konumlandırılmasını bekleyebilirdim.

The room was beautiful, breakfast tasty with plenty of options and it couldn’t be better located as it’s right next to the harbour with a beautiful view. I liked the possibility to be able to park in the garage as the city is quite busy and it’s difficult finding a spot to park.

Sabah akşam günde iki kez oda temizleniyor , dolan çöpler boşaltılıp , biten kahve, havlu .. eksilenler varsa yenileniyor. Biz çok beğendik , tekrar geldiğimizde burada kalacağız. Yeri zaten güzel. Otopark işini otelin önünde yer varsa oraya yoksa biraz ilerde sağda solda yer bakarak hallediyorsunuz.

Cleanness and the high quality of every aspect of the accommodation are standing out! There was a very nice book about Kavala in the room. We couldn't ask for anything more than we got.
