Guest Reviews
- Rowley (8/5): - The location was great for what we planned to do.
Owners kept in touch throughout and responded quickly to our needs. Cleanliness wasn't the best, found clothes from other people around the house and no heating/hot water from the start where we had to pressurise the boiler.
- jackie (8/5): - Proximity to city centre and rail station.
We were also able to check in earlier by prior arrangement with hosts.
Lovely host who dealt quickly with a slight problem The decor was rather dark. And lighting not adequate enough to read by.
This is something I didn't pick up on when choosing and booking this property

- Bernard (9/5): Excellent property, in a convenient location, with outstanding hosts - Outstanding hosts. Replied quickly to all messages, and were flexible when we made requests. Two minor maintenance issues were dealt quickly. Beds were comfy, smart tv worked well, good WiFi, clear instructions about disposing of rubbish, etc. Nice and warm. Reasonably priced parking close by, Ten minutes walk to the centre of Chester (ie M&S). Property was a little dark for our taste, but only as expected from the photos.
- Tavares (10/5): Casa maravilhosa e super aconchegante… - Tudo maravilhoso A temperatura estava em 22 e como não tinha como aumentar passamos um pouco de frio por que a sensação térmica era de -3
- Jamie (5/5): -
- Elen cristina (10/5): - Casa maravilhosa
- Alison (8/5): - Great location, recommended car park close by and good value, comfortable beds The property met our needs for our trip
- Sue (10/5): -
- Alex (10/5): I will return again. - I truly appreciate this place; it's so peaceful and conveniently located to access the city. It feels like a lovely retreat while still being close to everything I need. None
- Douglas (7/5): Great location with numerous amenities, but needs a freshening. - Location close to city centre was great and not far from paid parking. Facilities were complete. The interior could really use a spruce up. Walls in the kitchen are streaked badly. A deep cleaning is overdue. The non-stick coating on the pots and pans is flaking. Both the bathroom and the kitchen need an extraction fan.
- Afj (10/5): Sweet little house near central Chester - Very comfortable, sweet little patio in the back, good location to walk into Chester - around 15 minutes with my father, very quiet area. Stairs were steep as others said but my 86 year old father had no problem and there is a good sturdy rail to help going up and down the stairs. Bedrooms were spacious and comfy. It was all great. Hot at night but that was because it was hot! Would have been handy to have a little bit of a freezer in the fridge and the plastic tray on the fridge door was broken but no doubt easy to fix. We had a lovely stay.
- Casey (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Beautiful decorations, close to city center, upstairs bathroom which is very convenient, kitchen had everything, very cosy and spacious Little bit cold even with heating on
- Steph (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (10/5): Perfect cosy property a stones throw from the city centre. - Lovely little house with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean with very cool decor and just a five/ten minutes walk from Chester city centre. Everything was great.
- Olivia (6/5): Good location - Good location and parking was quite cheap. The house was a bit dusty and dirty in places and we feel it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Reasonably close to Town Centre.
On street parking was OK.
Clean and tidy Home.
Will stay again if in the area.
- Melanie (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (8/5): We felt this was a lovely home to stay at, ideal for a quick trip to Chester for up to 2 couples. There are more luxuri - The cleanliness and the value for money was great. We appreciated that the home seemed well kept and while quaint it had everything you need for a 4-5 day trip. The location is in a quiet street but it is surrounded by a location that might not be considered desirable. However, we felt safe and it was approx 10 mins walk to the city centre and only 5 minutes to the train station
- Lagosstav (8/5): Ideal weekend break for two couples. - An ideal located terraced property a short walk from the city centre and all amenities. Clean & tidy with the necessary requirements for a short stay.
- Yjtuk (8/5): V interesting property , enjoyed the care taken in its presentation. - Interesting decor gave the property a boutique feel. 10 min walk to historic centre. V nice street with old church buildings and quiet atmosphere. Easy entrance. Appreciated the milk provided! Noisy loo, mirrors on doors bang a bit at night. Loo door lock fiddly. Parking and carrying stuff to property a bit of an effort, seemed a shame we couldn't park outside.
- Yajnah (9/5): Birthday getaway - Well equipped house - had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was nice.
- Kev (10/5): Exceptional - Home from home £75 parking fine, use nearest car park
- Christopher (8/5): Great for a few nights - Quiet road, nearby car park. Well presented and comfortable. Clean and all basic amenities covered. Short walk into city centre and nearby pubs/shops. Quite a dark house generally but little owners can do about the aspect. Private permit parking directly outside, but paid car park being nearby was a plus. Kitchen was a little light on basics, just some salt, pepper and oil would've helped. Door to the bathroom was a pain, fiddly lock and doesn't close without locking. Didn't receive entry code email but owner was quick to return our call with the code.
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional - It was super clean and comfortable
- Edward (8/5): Very good - Design, comfortable
