Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge erhalten. Das Frühstück war super und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, die Auswahl war sehr vielfältig. • Sistagirl (10/5): Perfect country getaway but close to town for exploring. - We chose Newlands Lodge because it was out of town, but just a short drive away. You will need a car if you stay here. Our host was wonderful, offering ideas on where to eat and activities. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. We felt very welcomed here. Everything was great.

Hosts Mairead abd Jimmy very welcoming and really knowledgeable about places of interest in the area. We visited places we would never have know about without their advice. Very little. The property is about 5 km outside Kilkenny and 5 km from Kells so you really need a car and you need someone to be a designated driver to get back from dinner at night.

I lost my brand new earring down the back of the sink UBEND which they have said they will get a plumber to get it for me the next time they have a plumber around ! The Irish Dental Association hold their yearly conference here every year in Kilkenny so I will be telling more colleagues about this house.
