The property was perfect however the road to get there was quite narrow and steep but was absolutely fine to drive on

• Monika (10/5): A charming retreat - It is a charming, cosy studio with a stunning view, I wish I could stay longer. Felicia greeted me upon my arrival (not such a frequent occurrence nowadays) and made me feel at home. The only thing to bear in mind is a rather tricky access, a narrow and steep road, so arriving during daylight for the first time would be better.

The owners very friendly, but also respectful of our privacy. Just a stunning place.. Nothing to dislike.

• Kelly (7/5): Bayview Studio ..perfectly named! Amazing views, day and night. - Very friendly hosts. Lovely clean, warm and comfortable studio. Amazing views. Bed was very comfy. Big bathroom great shower. Ideal for short stays for couples. Parking was tricky even with a hatchback as negotiating a very deep storm water drain at top of shared driveway without tearing up the underside of my car was a challenge. Only other thing I would mention is 'oven and stovetop' in booking description was a little misleading. It is a small bench top convection oven and an electric plug in 2 plate cooker which didn't get very hot we found on attempting to cook our dinner the first night. The second night we decided it wasn't worth the hassle and got fish n chips at the local shops. It didn't really feel as private as we had hoped as the studio is attached to the main house above. I may have missed that in the description.

• Nina (9/5): Superb - Everything you need for 2 people. Great kitchen and dining set up. The bed was a little firmer than we're used to, but a good bed if that's what you like.
• Gero (10/5): Highly recommended - This is a really nice place to stay for one person or a couple. The views are great. It was nice to find salt, pepper and other useful stuff in the kitchen. Keep in mind you need approximately 40 min to CHC City Center.

The views were beautiful of the harbour. The room was quiet and warm. There was no coffee, shampoo or conditioner provided.

• Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the harbour and the birds singing. This is beyond the hosts control, as the hosts and accommodation were excellent. The access road was very narrow for a long wheel base van. I accessed the accommodation on Bayview road via marine drive. It would have been better if I drove a few more kilometres to the foursquare supermarket and turned onto hunters Road ( goes past the school) and turns onto bayview as the road is flatter and wider.
