Guest Reviews
- GUILLERMO (7/5): - Overall is ok. Our booking included complimentary breakfast as part of a Genius membership benefit, which was not honored by the hotel.

- Komal (10/5): Friendly stay ..and safe stay specially women travelling alone - It was very pleasant stay ... smooth check in and check out ...The staff was also very cooperative.. special thanks to Rohit sir ,he was all time der to address any query ... Der is nothing which I liked ...the overall stay was smooth and friendly
- Prashant (8/5): -
Przyjemny i pomocny właściciel.
- Ravindra (1/5): Approved check in 7 AM but not available and have to cancel the room with full charge - Approved check in 7 AM but not available and have to cancel the room with full charge

- Patrick Andre (7/5): - The hotel was under renovation—but for an exciting upcoming project. It’s simple: the welcome was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. I appreciated the location, which is close to the main monuments and the market. You can walk everywhere.
- prachi (10/5): great and smooth experience - I booked the room for my driver and the whole experience was really good especially the communication and the check in was smooth.
- Malmquist (9/5): Overall it was great and I appreciate the owners kindness. - This property had a very nice room, well air conditioning and very spacious. The owner was very quick to let me in and help guide me to the Homestay despite me showing up very late. .
- Mateusz (9/5): - Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, klimatyzacja w pokoju, duże łóżko
- Arifa (9/5): Excellent location and hosts, truly lived with a family away from family - Proximity to forts
Ac , big bed, gyeser, small balcony
shared fridge and terrace with sunset views
Extremely helpful hosts
Value for money Little bit noisy due to ongoing construction
- Sudeep (7/5): Good budget friendly stay. - Location was very good. Staff was very cooperative. It had a shared kitchen as well. AC/Geyser/fan were working fine. Room cleanliness could've been better. There was a small seepage on room wall.
- Karlin (8/5): - Only walking distance from the palace, around the entrance is not too busy. Room was spacious. Get what you pay for and it's value for money.
- Céline (8/5): - Le personnel était très agréable, arrangeant et serviable. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon sécurisé.

- wolfka (6/5): Friendly staff, free pick up from train station and views of the Aravalli Hills. Overal a pleasant stay but the property - We booked this property because it was one of the cheapest places to stay in Jaipor for 3x double rooms. The rooms had a balcony which overlooked the Arivalli Hills. The owner and receptionist were very friendly and provided a free pick up service from the train station which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the property was a bit run down with broken electrics and the blankets were quite scratchy. It would have been good to have an extra sheet underneath the blanket to go against the skin.
- Mark (10/5): Comfortable, good size rooms. Very helpful, friendly staff! - The staff were very helpful, the rooms were a good size and in a very convenient location just a short walk from the center. Highly recommended!
- Nikhil (9/5): - It's a good place to stay , value for money
- Mannayyanavarmath (9/5): - Rohit was kind to me, had a late night flight he did guide the home stay location at midnight, also did follow up during my stay, The room was clean and well maintained.
Thank you 😊.
- Guillaume (9/5): - Chambre et hôtel propre
Bien situé
Personnel
- Schmotzerová (7/5): Great location, good stuff - The location was great, there were many good and affordable restaurants near. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had two balconies and a lot of windows, so it was nice and sunny inside. The walls had mold on it and the bathroom had a little water flow from the ceiling.
- ermanno (5/5): -
- elena (8/5): - Posizione vicina al centro ma fuori dal caos. Camera semplice ma nell'insieme pulita.Personale super disponibile anche se non parla inglese
- Stijn (9/5): Superb -
- Izzy (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (4/5): Left with an uncomfortable feeling - Upon arriving a very friendly man, whose English was good, gave us a warm welcome. The room was nice, comfortable and we liked the balcony. There was a lot of noise because of construction work going on on the rooftop, but that's understandable. A worker poured a liquid substance (we can only hope it was water - but probably not) down from the rooftop on the balconies where me and my neighbour were sitting, which was less understandable.
The friendly man from the check-in (called Rohit) we never saw again and when we needed someone for answering a question usually there was no one to be found. The front desk was almost always empty, without seeing a soul.
The first morning they simply forgot the breakfast that we had included and had already ordered the night before. Eventually, after ordering again, they brought it an hour and a half later than the agreed time, not really handy if you want to leave early for exploring the city. Also, the breakfast was really, really not worth waiting for. Very little portion, toast was just softish breadslice and we didn't ask for coffee/tea anymore the next morning cause it wasn't nice to drink. But the room was okay, so we thought - okay.. But then, when checking out they demanded us to pay a sum on top of the amount shown in booking.com, so on top of the usual rate + taxes, they told us we needed to pay extra taxes, because some were apparently government taxes and then there needed to be paid other local taxes as well...?! We never experienced this before, in 3 years travelling of which over 3 months in India. Even if this is true, which we doubt, it was never communicated beforehand, as it should. So now we paid 24% taxes instead of 12%. This made an already overpriced stay very expensive all of a sudden.
After disbelieve, we clearly showed that we disagree, but decided not to argue about it. It ended up being one of the more disappointing stays we had.
- James (5/5): Good cheap stay but just the basics - While the photos make you believe that it is up to a mid level standard it really is not
Very basic and spartan. Had to ask for towels and was met with a quizzical look and again when only two towels were brought for four people.
The fellow at the desk spoke very good English but disappeared soon after checking in.
After travelling in India for weeks this stay ranked low on my list. I am not super fussy or hard to please.
Some basic standards are: clean have some staff availiable for needs. If breakfast is offered some clear info about where and when.
I don't want to slam this house too hard it isnt my style to do so. The people were kind and tried to answer questions as best they could, English was not well understood by the staff and should I really expect that everywhere? No.
This stay just needs to polish up a few aspects.
It is on me that I booked a cheap stay hoping for more stars than reality, I will concede that.
I have had some incredible value for cost stays all over Asia but you sometimes have to take it on the chin because photos and high reviews dont always jive.
The A/c worked, hot water was good, toilets worked , wasn't terribly noisy the food while basic was good
Beds were not 13 inch pillow tops, of course not.
Nearby market street has all the things you will need
Had fantastic milkshakes at a fast food joint a couple of blocks away, best yet in India. Proper milkshakes.
Jaipur has what seems to be only two levels of accoms
Take your chances cheap or spend more money than it should be. Having to wake up the young lad at 8am to ask about breakfast the second try and being met with that look that only teenager will give when you wake them up before noon
- Beatriz (10/5): If we return to Jaipur we’ll stay again at Raahi Homestay :) - We highly recommend Raahi Homestay for people travelling on a budget like us. Rohit, the manager is a very friendly guy with a positive helpful attitude! We arrived around 7am in Jaipur after a sleeping bus that was not the best and Rohit promptly offered us a spare room to rest while our room was getting cleaned for check in. Also, we were suffering from stomach aches and we told him that we can’t handle spicy food very well so he prepared us a meal that was not spicy and we felt very lucky that day to be able to enjoy his homemade fresh food.
Overall, it was a nice stay and we felt very comfortable staying at Raahi Homestay!
- Léa (7/5): Good - Rohit welcomed us really warmly, the place is confortable and answer to all the basic need for a little stay in Jaipur moreover the location is quite good as you are in a walking distance from the main interesting places to visit
- Marieke (10/5): Perfect! - We had a very nice stay at Raahi homestay, it is clean, good wifi, quiet area, hot shower, nice balcony, good breakfast and very friendly service! The main attractions are walkable from here, they offer food or there are some restaurants in the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend it! -
- Jakub (5/5): A tad overpriced, but so is the rest of Jaipur, OK for a short stay - You can order somewhat overpriced but digestible dishes via room service of sorts.
The hotel is located off centre, so it's fairly quiet both during the day and at night (unless the dogs street are barking).
It's about a 20 minute walk to Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and about 25 minutes to other major landmarks like the City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory. Just 10 minutes away from maharaja's Lord Krishna temple.
The staff is generally helpful.
The room was okayish, but the bathroom was a bit lacking. Most of the amenities mentioned in room description were not available.
There was no view, though the room was supposed to have a view on landmark(s) and mountains, none of which was true.
The wi-fi is super weak and does not reach the room.
There was a shortage of water twice during my 3 day stay. The explanation I got was that some guest had left the water running and used up all the stored water, but then it happened again, so I'm not sure about the actual reason. I was not able to even flush the toilet for quite some time.
I wish the assistant staff spoke a bit more English.
For some reason there's a nursery on the ground floor, and all the noises go straight to some of the rooms, whose windows overlook that ground floor.
I witnessed a piece of ceiling fall off just a few feet away from me, luckily away from the bed. Some renovations and extra maintenance could take place.
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional - excellent hotel, close to all attractions. the room has everything you need. very clean, clean new bed linen. a good owner who is always ready to help. I recommend!
- Nelson (9/5): Sweet spot in the Pink city - Very comfortable room in a very convenient location, 15 minutes walk to all the central attractions. The rooftop is a nice add with great views. Some overnight noise but nothing unusual for Jaipur.
- Pallavi (7/5): Good - Rahi homestay was a good stay. Host was helpful. We stayed there for 2 night. He helped us to celebrate new years eve at his terrace. They are cooperative. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Needs some civil work and maintenance.
- Akash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (5/5): Passable - Relatively cheap, but they randomly charge 5% fees extra It was a sad place, impossible to communicate with the receptionist in English and even with google translate.
When we checked in at night he asked us to fill multiple printed formes with personal information even before we put our bags. And there is no place to put your stuff on the reception
- Dr (1/5): Don't fall in trap! This room is disgusting. - Pathetic bathroom, do call them and ask for photos of the room before u book.
Smell of the bedroom is unbearable.
Hot water tap in bathroom is not working.
Rooms are not cleaned and maintained.
Bedsheets are not cleaned. Hot water tap in bathroom is not working.
Owner behavioir is very rude, he did not acknowledge our problem.
For drinking water, they will give you tap water.
Terrace of the bathroon is leaking.
Completly different room from pictures.
- Himanshu (9/5): It was an excellent stay with an amazing support of the host Rohit. He is so helpful. - We stayed in 3 room apartment which was efficient to accomodate 6 adults & 3 kids.
Rooms fulfill all your basic needs, from bed, table-chair, almirah, attached bathroom, geyser, AC, etc.
The location is so Central, you can go by walk the highlights of Jaipur, say: Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City palace, Govind ji temple, Kale hanuman ji temple, local market, sabzi mandi etc..
The 'Nahargarh fort' view from terrace is captivating.
Safety wise Location of Homestay is within residential area, safe & sound place.
You have the option to order food from homestay's menu. The food is homely, hygienic & yummy.
Further you have lot of nearby eatery options like cafes, restaurants, dhabas etc.
Hospitality of the host is 5 star, the host is so helpful & tries to go beyond to provide services.
I recommend this homestay.
Note: there was some renovation ongoing which is to keep customers' convenience in mind. Washrooms need a repair, which is already ongoing, so customers no need to worry.
- Viera (10/5): Nice stay - Very friendly owner, we could have early checkin and could stay till departure of our bus. Large bed, hot water, we could choose breakfast and it was tasty and prepared in the agreed time. About 15 minut walk to Hawa Mahal
- Cheney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amit (8/5): Very good - Good location , and staff behaviour excellent . all is good value of money.
- Dawn (2/5): Very poor - Due to our flight delay we were able to check-in early hours of the morning which was kind. The floors had not been swept or mopped.
The bathroom sink and toilet had not been cleaned for a very long time. Boiler casing was hanging off and floor around the toilet was constantly wet due to leaking. Hair around drain in shower.
- Gennadii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gennadii (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks to Rohit for his hospitality. He was always willing to help and was always available.Great location. The bathroom is a bit dirty.
- Marija (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Jaipur - We loved the location - you could reach "Hawa Mahal" and City Palace in 15 minutes walking. Within 5-10 min. walking distance you can find shops, pharmacy, market, some places to eat.
The people working there are super nice and helpful. They assisted us with every enquiry, lending things, such as hairdryer and scissors.
Also they provided the whitest and fluffiest towels. Steady supply of hot water in the shower. The only thing we missed was a chair in the room and maybe some extra blankets (December).
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant - In room food service, good.
Close to markets and walking distance to a lot of sights. Bed a bit on the hard side.
No heaters, so winter is cold.
Hot water heater needs explaining, won't figure it out on your own.
Shower is ONLY cold water!
- Yutaka (9/5): Wonderful! 素晴らしい! - Owner family were very friendly and also staff has been very kind and helpful. They made our stay feel like been at home when we were away from our home. Also it is located at the center of the historic Jaipur town and very close to Hawa Mahal (the Wind Palace) and to the City Palace in a walking distance. It was also nice that they gave us breakfast with a cup of nice Chai in the room. A little thing that they could improve was sound proof for the bathroom. Often we could hear our neighbor guest when they are using bathroom, vis-a-vis I guess they also listen our sound in the bathroom.
- Namraj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roman (10/5): Exceptional - Hot water. Soft bed.
Welcoming host.
Good local suggestions.
Quite neighborhood.
Walking distance to city palace.
Would come again. Recommend.
- Yuval (7/5): Amazing hosts, big room, great roof, great value. Thx - The room was big, comfortable bed and located 10 minutes walk from the center. The building had a great rooftop for morning meditation and enjoying all the kites at sunset.
Best thing were actually Ruhed and Ravi. The hosts. Such great and welcoming energy. Always smiling and kind.
Great value overall. There was an a small but ongoing leak from the boiler’s faucet in the wall the kept the bathroom’s flor wet. Nothing too serious but had to see where I stepped if entering barefoot.
Lots of barking dogs outside the building going all night. Dk if it applies for all Jaipur.
- Patrick (9/5): Superb -
- Florian (7/5): Good - Very friendly host, quick communication, very good value for money, basic but tasty small breakfast served at your room. Quiet neighbourhood just a street away from the local market and a 15 minutes walk to the sights within the city. Room wasn't prepared when we arrived, had to apply the bed sheets and covers ourselves. Unfortunately quite dirty, especially in the bathroom. The whole room was quite worn down actually. Breakfast preparation needed 1 hour for some basic aloo paratha with yoghurt.
- Ramesh (7/5): Good - The host and staff were awesome Very old building with no proper maintenance.
- Muriel (8/5): Very good - Good place to stay. Near attractive activities. In the old streets. It was wedding time and fireworks where very nosy at night ;-)
- Anuj (9/5): Superb - Rooms were very well maintained
- Abhinay (10/5): Homely stay - Near the major places in Jaipur No local transportation options available nearby
- Sameer (7/5): Budget friendly option at Jaipur - The owner is good and helpful. The location is good. Room was comfortable The rooms were not clean. The place did not have a name plate outside. Showers did not have a knob for use.
- Monika (7/5): Good -
- Ravindra (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place to stay Very quiet atmosphere clean room
