Guest Reviews
- Tomas (10/5): - Such an amazing stay. The scones on arrival were a lovely touch. A perfect accommodation for pets. Our dog absolutely loved it there. Close to the lovely kilmore quay and Mary Barry's restaurant which was also amazing. Would definitely visit again.
- Eileen (10/5): Superb place to stay close to rosslaire - Great place to stay near rosslaire. It was ideal for us. It had everything you could possibly need . We could bring our dog which was amazing.
- Jason (9/5): Lovely second stay - delicious scones on arrival -
- Josie (10/5): - Perfect little lodge in a great location.
- Julie (10/5): Perfect - It was perfect. We arrived at 10pm after a long ferry journey to find a cosy, well-appointed apartment and a beautifully presented basket of scones, butter and jam waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. We truly appreciated everything — thank you. Nothing
- Marta (9/5): - Very cozy room with your own entrance which is great when you arrive late and you don't want to disturb the owners. The decoration gives cozy cottage in the woods vibes with all kitchen supplies you might need. They also added a basket with scones, butter and jam which is a lovely surprise. Couldn't recommend more! The mattress is a bit uncomfortable but not enough to lower the rating (especially if you don't really care about the mattress that much).
- Stacey (10/5): It was so much more than what we were expecting! - Everything was fantastic! The lovely basket of scones and jam waiting for us was such a beautiful touch and lovely. It was so beautiful and welcoming property! Everything has been so well thought out, the lovely fire was great after a day exploring! We can’t wait to stay again! Cant recommend this place enough. We wish we had stayed longer!
- Skene (10/5): - It was such a lovely place to stay. You cannot fault it.
- Jason (9/5): A lovely place for a short stay - Wish we could have stayed longer but we were between ferries on our way from the UK to Spain. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our two-night stay; Lavendar Lodge is comfortable, convenient and perfect for going into nearby Kilmore Quay with its lovely beaches. We didn't get to meet the host as we arrived late and left early, but everything went smoothly and we would book again. Lovely touch with the homemade marmalade, butter and buns :-) Nothing.
- Michael (10/5): Fabulous stop on our way to catch the early morning ferry from Rosslare. - Self check in , nice rural location, within easy reach of Rosslare Europort, fantastic welcome basket evenn though we were only there for one night. Dog friendly and the dog was not just an after thought by the host. The host responded promptly when we advised her that we would be leaving early for ferry check-in with a positive response. Nothing negative.

- Rosco Dunne (7/5): Lovely little spot - Its a lovely space and fitted out perfectly for our needs. Lots of lovely little touches and very thoughtful items from the owner , (like the milk, scones and jam 😀) As the cabin heated up it began to smell of dog, it was quiet strong and distracted from our stay.

Unfortunately had very little time to enjoy it to the full, but it was a real little haven at the end of the Day. Delicious scones, jam and tea/ coffee provided were a real treat.

The bed was very small and not very comfortable particularly because the bedding was made of polyester!

- Jamie (10/5): Lovely stay. Will be back again - Location was perfect for my visit. Cozy little cabin with lovely warm touch. Nice and clean. Scones on arrive were lovely. Really nice touch. The bed was a bit small for me. The end bed rails didn't allow me to stretch out.

- Bernie (10/5): Really cosy - Really cosy lodge, lovely scones from host. Plus milk and bottles of water
Also local pub collected and dropped us to have a meal/ drinks. All positive
- Anna (10/5): Cosy and warm - Lavender Lodge was cosy, very comfortable and warm. Well equipped with everything we needed for our two nights stay. We enjoyed the tasty scones and jam that were left out for us on arrival. The outside area was fully fenced off which was great for the dogs, very safe. The location was close to all amenities. We had two lovely meals at Mary Barry's restaurant/bar, where the staff were so nice and friendly. They run a courtesy bus so you can enjoy a drink with your meal. We would recommend lavender Lodge as a nice place to stay.
