• Wayne (2/5): False photos of location, false signage on web, did not feel safe and very difficult to park. - N/A The apartment was run down, the decor was out dated and sleezy. There were undesirable people hanging around outside the complex drinking and swearing. The apartment was not thoroughly cleaned, empty syringe packages found on coffee table.

• John (8/5): Difficult property to find - Directions to get into property were very vague as there is no signage saying "Melville oasis" and the directions suggest the entrance is in Scott St. We drove around the block 3 times and attempted to call the owner with no response. We then drove into an entrance on Melville that were called waterfront apartments and went down a very tight laneway hoping we were in the right place. Eventually finding we were in the right place and with relief finding the apartment. So please update directions to get into the property for future users. And it's probably a good idea to answer phonecalls as this would have saved us a good half hour of searching

• Cassandra (3/5): An expensive lesson - please check photos carefully! - South Perth is one of my favorite locations. The bed was comfortable. Living Area: The living area's ambiance was a major concern. Despite arriving during daylight hours and opening all available curtains, the space felt dark & gloomy. The dark, foamy wallpaper throughout the living area contributed significantly to this oppressive atmosphere, creating a dungeon-like feel. This made the space unsuitable for work-from-home activities, as it lacked the bright, inspiring environment necessary for productivity. Potential renters should be aware of the limited natural light and the impact of the dark décor on the overall feel of the living space. Outdated Decor: While the kitchen was well-equipped with necessary appliances and utensils, the overall apartment is somewhat outdated and could benefit from more modern lighter decor in the small space. Photos: There are limited number of photos of the apartment and I had assumed that the owner was trying to convey a evening mood in their photographs (don't under-estimate the dark wallpaper in the photo!), however the living area is extremely dark during the day. I would have made a more informed decision if there were additional photos of the living area with the curtains opened up instead of closed. Owners: The owners were initially very responsive, which I appreciated. However, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the living area within an hour of check-in, their response became defensive. I explained that the dark and somewhat eerie atmosphere made it an unsuitable work environment for me, particularly as I was traveling alone. I inquired about a partial refund for the unoccupied nights. While I understand policies around refunds, I felt that the owners could have been more proactive in assisting me with contacting Booking.com. Instead, I had to manage the communication between the two parties, which added unnecessary stress to my situation while I had to find alternative accomodation in a high-occupancy city.
• Kaison (10/5): Very nice place to stay at for the weekend we were there. - Nice cozy place for the weekend. Location is very good. Aircon was mint. Everything was very clean when we first arrived.

• Taryn (8/5): Great little apartment - Great location. Good proximity to city and only 15 minute drive to fiona Stanley hospital (where we had appointments to attend). Bed was very comfy. It's great having a separate living space. Nice big tv. Decor was interesting, certainly not a deal breaker though.

• Bronwyn (1/5): Disappointing. - The bed had been slept in. There was very little toilet paper left on the roll and no stock to replenish. The coffee in the jar was old and dried up.
