- Jaiswal (9/5): Amazing stay with great hospitality - Ambience and management Villas are bit old, could be upgraded with modern touch and amenities
- prarup (10/5): - Absolutely loved our stay here during our honeymoon trip. The resort made it extra special by surprising us with a beautiful candle light dinner, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The hospitality was honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring throughout our stay.
Without a doubt one of the best experiences we’ve had in Chitwan. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was perfect. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
- Hemali (8/5): Calm enjoying 😉 - Interior, decoration. Dance activities Less lighting in hall area.

- Leo (9/5): - The friendly and helpfull staff, the good food, the hygiëne, the wondeful bed, the clean pool, the location. If you plan a tour, ask for Chandra, he's a great guide. The canoe tour was great, thnx to him. The manager (Manam) was committed to delivering good service. It really is a very good hotel and beautiful.location. Nothing. However we've got two improvements we'd like to suggest: the music at the swimming pool is actually taking away a bit of the beauty and disturbing, rather than adding somenthing to the experience (but the staff will turn it off immediately, if you ask for it). The shower would be nicer if there would be a bit more water.

- Sheldon (10/5): An awesome 3 day 2 night getaway - Beauty all around day and night. Very helpful attentive staff - fantastic game drive safari awesome driver
- Hitendra (7/5): Great setting and need to improve reception services. - Great restaurant food and service. Poor on arranging travel and safari trips.

- Piotr (7/5): Old fashioned - Hotel in the middle of the jungle
Comfortable and clean villa with plenty of space The hotel requires renovations especially the swimming pool with algae on the walls

- Bishal (8/5): Very good -
- Shreesti (8/5): Great property in the middle of nature - I loved the nature and aesthetic design of the property. It was pleasing to the eyes and blended with nature. The food was great and the chef was super accomodating and helpful. One thing that bugged me was the risk of mosquito bites and dengue with the open design of the villas. Everything else was amazing.
- Qussai (9/5): Superb -
- Ranjan (5/5): Passable -
- Swapnali (10/5): Excellent Place. Recommend - The property location and its surrounding
Best part
All natural things around and feels like peaceful
- Islam (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing food with amazing staffs. The location is bit far.
- Sajani (1/5): I would like to get refund for my 2 nights . Absolutely wasted my holiday - Absolutely worst experience that I never experienced in my entire life. Customer service was awful.. I will never go back again. We booked for 4 nights but we checked out in 2 nights but paid for 4 nights . Spoke with manager about the service and he didn’t care. From day one it was terrible service. When we arrived at resort in the main gate there was no one to open the gate so we had to wait until they got there but no one came . 40-42 degrees hot weather and I asked for ice they said there was no ice to serve. Room was mouldy and very strong damp smell. I asked for housekeeping never turned up. Bed sheet was dirty and smells like damp. First night couldn’t sleep at all because of smell. Very very dissatisfied please don’t go . You will regret if you do. Customer service was bad .
Good was greasy…
Managment was not so help ..

- Rocky (10/5): Best 5 star in Chitwan - We had an excellent stay in Kasara. Surely one of the best, if not the best 5 star hotel in Chitwan. Staff were super polite and helpful, facilities was amazing and the food was superb, we enjoyed every single dish we were served. Raj and the team did an incredible job during our stay, highly recommended
- Prabhu (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shaileshkumar (2/5): No hot water, no transportation from hotel to city or anywhere to get wildlife tour. Tour from hotel people is 3 times e - Garden There is no hot water in shower. We faced 2 days without almost half bath with cold water.
Wasted 1 day due to non transport service from hotel
- Anna (2/5): Very disappointed. Will not recommend. - The waiters at their restaurant are the only reason we are not giving this property a bad/zero rating as they were very helpful, attentive and friendly. But the overall service of this resort was poor. Although the room had a seating area located between the bathroom and bedroom, it looked straight ahead towards the main door and it felt claustrophobic. Aside from this, the room had no view and not conducive for hanging out and relaxing; we had to go outside and sit by the pool to do this. Food was so-so, but the worst part was seeing a rat run across the buffet table. While we understand that the property is located in the jungle, still, seeing a rat run by our breakfast made us refuse to dine there after that.
- Yalamber (5/5): Passable - Nature, trees Swimming pool
- Aegis (10/5): I love kasara.. it’s one of the best resort for me. - I love the ambience here. I visit kasara just to get a break from chaotic city life . A lot of flies on dining area is the most frustrating part .
- Bass (10/5): everything is great - everything is great everything is great
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was friendly. The resort was VERY relaxing. The showers are open-air so be mindful of insects and such. Very accommodating hotel. Take a tour or two. See the cultural dance.
- Christian (7/5): Okay hotel, slightly overpriced - The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Especially the two guides/naturalists did an excellent job, trying to help us see the elusive tiger on the safaris.
Location was very serene. The restaurant, especially alcoholic drinks were extremely overpriced. Although the facilities are not bad, I felt the whole place was slightly overpriced including the safaris 250 USD for 3-4 hours with private car, although the guides themselves were definitely worth it.
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice accomodation
Nice cocktails
Prem the safari guide is calm, knowledgeable, passionate and sensitive to the ecosystem of the jungle as well as his clients The shower water pressure isn't very satisfying but that's very minor
- Bryan (7/5): Good - Good location as it is very near Chitwan National Park Prices are a bit steep for the quality of the rooms. Not all lights are functioning
- Venkata (1/5): A Disappointing and Overpriced Experience at Kasara Resort, Chitwan - Very little to like in this place. I recently had the misfortune of staying at Kasara Resort in Chitwan, Nepal for two nights, and it turned out to be one of the worst vacation experiences I have ever had. We had booked a Deluxe villa through Booking.com, but our stay was marred by a multitude of issues that left us feeling frustrated and cheated.
Lack of basic facilities: The resort failed to provide even the most elementary amenities. There was no phone in our room, and room service was non-existent, leaving us feeling stranded and helpless.
No privacy: The room had massive windows with see-through curtains, which meant we were constantly worried about people peeking into our private space. This lack of privacy made it impossible for us to relax and enjoy our stay.
Unreliable hot water supply: The instant gas geyser provided nothing more than a steady trickle of hot water, making it impossible to enjoy a decent shower. This was particularly inconvenient after a long day of sightseeing.
Overpriced: Kasara Resort charged exorbitant prices for even the most basic items. Water bottles, which are typically sold for 15 NPR, were priced at 300 NPR here, while a bottle of beer cost a shocking 1000 NPR. Our two-night stay set us back by almost 1,00,000 NPR, which felt like daylight robbery.
Mediocre food: The buffet food was average at best, and the à la carte menu had extremely limited options. To make matters worse, the food was far from appetizing.
Non-operational spa: To add insult to injury, the spa, which could have provided some much-needed relaxation, was not operational during our stay.
On top of these issues, our private jeep safari to Chitwan National Park was a massive letdown. We saw only a few rhinos and peacocks, making the entire Chitwan experience feel overrated. I would strongly advise against including Chitwan in your Nepal tour.
In conclusion, our stay at Kasara Resort was a complete disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this resort at all costs.
- Mingmar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Øystein (10/5): Amazing contemporary architecture near Chitwan nationalpark - Amazing contemporary architecture near Chitwan nationalpark, probably the best place in the area. Great pool and facilities to relaxe. The place is a bit by itself, so bike rentals should have been free for the guests (with a deposit if needed). It is simply not worth 25 USD for regular bikes, specially in a low cost country like Nepal.
- Alexia (1/5): Disappointing experience due to deceptive and dishonest staff - - Great one-day jeep safari experience with Suresh and Surendra (if you are staying at the hotel, ask for this duo)
- The restaurant staff was also very nice
- Great location if you want an immersive experience into the jungle atmosphere
- All in all, a hotel with great potential tarnished by unfortunately dishonest and incompetent management (particularly for a 5 star hotel!) For all activities the staff gave us the prices in both rupees and USD (applying btw a very disadvantageous exchange rate). We are French tourists paying in local money.
When we checked out :
- they made us pay for the full-day jeep safari a completely different price than the one they announced (almost 50% higher)
- they were unable to prove to us why they were finally charging such a high amount (nothing was ever written even on their activity menu)
- They refused that we pay in Rupees (we are French), forcing us to pay in dollars and thus applying a terribly disadvantageous exchange rate (1 dollar for 100 rupees instead of 1 dollar for 130 rupees)
- They were incapable of recognising their mistake and deceitful price announcements (they kept insisting that we had just misheard “You made a mistake, you made a mistake”)
- After all this (we were on a hurry to catch our bus), they forgot to charge us for some of the extras : we were already almost at the bus station to catch our bus in a hurry, when they called us to insist we return to the hotel to pay for it, recognising we would most probably miss our bus in consequence (they were ready to let
their incompetence mess with our travel plans)
Also, although providing a nice variety of international food, the quality was average.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Partha (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Ruth (3/5): Poor - Be wary of the pricing conveyed by the safari manager. Extreme dishonesty. For example our Canoeing activity is charged at USD 30 instead of the rate 3000 NPR which another staff at the hotel disclosed. 3000NPR was also published on public domain.
We did not negotiate upon discovery of the mispricing but swear we will never come back again.
- Agnes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shuangchao (1/5): Bad - this hotel very bad, they charged me twice payments , after we talked to them , they still said they only charged one time, which I already got my bank bills . it’s very bad experience to stay here .
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raj (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was great. Especially the F&B manager made sure we were taken care of well.
- Vijendra (8/5): Very good -
