Guest Reviews
- Claire (7/5): Great for a weekend stay - Great location and a perfect size for the two of us Very dark in the shower and very creaky floorboards (not unexpected in an old property)
- Nanny (8/5): This was the most picture-perfect place I've ever stayed. - The bed linen, location, neighbours, and location. You could hear everything inside the house.
- Heather (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (9/5): Nice location. Excellent amenities. Nice cottage. - Location was excellent. Nice and quiet. The bed was uncomfortable. Only one toilet roll. It needs a bit of an update. Otherwise a nice cottage for a short stay.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Helen (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent, walks from the doorstep, field behind to walk the dogs, cosy and comfortable. Very handy little shop very close by. Private parking space always a bonus. There was no hot water, thankfully the shower was electric so at least we had hot showers. I know we only stayed two nights but it would have been nice if the hot water was sorted out. A few teabags would have been nice, luckily we caught the little shop just before it closed and stocked up on milk, tea, coffee etc.
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Loved the layout of the cottage very comfortable and clean. Also very good location, handy for all amenities. The fact there were no towels.
- Martin (8/5): super little cottage in delightful location - lovely cottage in delightful location
- Laura (5/5): Freezing cold in the winter - very uncomfortable stay with little support - It’s located in a gorgeous town with stunning scenery and check out was easy. We were freezing cold on our first night. Outside temp of 4 degrees and we had no heating. The property has only storage heaters which need to be switched on overnight to store heat for the next day/night. These had been switched off by previous guests/host so nothing we could do. Contacted the host, got no reply before going to bed, thought about leaving but I. the end went to sleep in our coats. Have contacted the host to discuss the matter since but no response.
- Matt (9/5): Cosy little cottage in beautiful little village. - Cosy little cottage, good value for money, great location. Some of the plates weren’t clean and the beds too hard.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, everything u need. Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): We really enjoy. Location perfect, people perfect, cottage perfect❤️ - amazing
- Mark (10/5): A perfect little hideaway that we will definitely be returning to. - Location was perfect, just what we wanted. The facilities in the village were ideal. No telephone signal at all which was fantastic as we wanted to get away from it all for a few days.
- Nigel (8/5): Excellent cottage in a great location … loved it ! - Lovely cottage in a great location very well furnished with everything that we needed to ensure that our stay was very comfortable. We seemed to struggle to get consistently hot water from the shower and there weren’t any instructions in the cottage that would help us confirm whether we were doing the right thing or not. The floorboards creaked very loudly and so do the doors which woke my sisters when I had to use the toilet in the night as the toilet is upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs.
