The pool is a good size. The location is perfect in a lovely quiet location but walking distance to shops, restaurants and beaches. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Everything was great, no complaints.
• Alex (10/5): Wonderful villa - we loved it. - We adored staying in Villa Helonaki. The Villa itself is extremely well appointed. Its design has been really well thought through and feels extremely luxurious. The kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool is wonderful. The master suite is amazing – its bathroom is a thing of great luxury all on its own. Even the downstairs bedrooms, which in properties like this can sometimes be disappointing, are lovely spaces with doors opening to the outside. It’s such a wonderful spot - we loved sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the view over the olive grove, with Kassiopi harbour in the middle ground and Albania in the distance. What is particularly nice about Helonaki, is that you have genuinely easy walking access to Kassiopi harbour with all its restaurants and amenities, as well as three different pebbley beaches. Kassiopi itself might not be your cup of tea (it’s pretty touristy) but a 5 to 10 minute walk back to Helonaki, and it feels like you’re in the countryside. It’s also just a short drive to several other beaches and you have the watersports of Kalami beach a 15 minute drive away. The best review I can leave is the fact that we are hoping to go back next year! Nothing
• Graham (9/5): Our stay was truly relaxing in a warm and luxurious environment. - The property was obviously built for private use as can be seen by the standard and care put into building and furnishing it. we appreciate that we got a chance to stay at this property as not many have had such an eye to decor and detail used on them when being used as a rental. The location was ideal, a gentle 5 minute stroll to the restaurants and shops of Kassiopi and different 5 minute stroll to the beach. With having a slightly elevated position, the views were outstanding. we had regular pool cleaner, accommodation cleaners and a gardener, the property was maintained excellently. The agent, Kerry, was attentive and very diligent and would have been readily available IF we had had any issues. Nothing, it really was ideal for the 4 of us.
• Sophie (10/5): Stylish and comfortable stay near a lovely town in North East Corfu - Stylishly decorated and really comfortable, Villa Helonaki is positioned among olive trees on the edge of Kassiopi. From the balcony and pool terrace there is a beautiful view across the terracotta roof tops of the town and across the sea to Albania. it’s an easy walk to the town, which has several good bakeries, restaurants and shops and the pretty harbour. There are beaches with white pebbles and turquoise sea very nearby too. From the Villa you can walk up into the hills behind the town and get sensational views of the surrounding, lush green countryside. Kerry, who looks after the Villa, was extremely helpful and friendly. The kitchen was large and well equipped if you like to cook. We were provided with plenty of towels and some basic groceries on arrival. the cleaner came during the week as did the pool man, so the Villa is really well looked after. We stayed out of season (early November) so many places in town were closed, but a few places were open and we had the beaches almost to ourselves with temperatures in the early to mid twenties. We were told the weather was particularly warm for the time of year. We were told the pool was ‘seasonal’ but it was very cold at the time of year we visited. Our kids still had the odd quick plunge but it was much too chilly for me.
