- Stuart (8/5): Cosy and comfy, good for young family - The property was comfortable, reasonably clean, and it was really great having a washing machine with small kids and a baby. Ample towels were provided. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, though I’ll say some of the non stick cookware could do with replacing as the Teflon is coming off and I didn’t want to cook with those. The little front entry vestibule was a really good space for our dogs crate to go in, and it was handy for where the property stores the hoover and mop, etc, making it easy to keep the place tidy for the week we were there. The selection of board games was a bit limited - the only kid/family game was Ludo which none of us have ever heard of and it was incredibly complicated. Worth noting for anyone traveling with kids that you may want to pack some things like board games, toys, and downloading things onto tablets for when internet is down (which for us was frequent). Pretty good location. There’s nothing in Luib but you’re not far from Broadford or Portree, about 20-30 mins. For anyone who’s never been to Skye before be prepared to drive everywhere and it takes longer than you think it will due to the roads and also thanks to the foreigners who don’t know how to drive on our roads. I think a wee upgrade to some of the pans would be good as I said in my previous comment. I was surprised there were some wee touch ups I would’ve expected to have been done before the start of the season (eg in the living room where there are some dirty patches on the wall could do with a paint touch up) so in that sense it is looking a wee bit tired. A Bluetooth speaker for guests to connect to and listen to music wouldn’t go amiss especially a WiFi isn’t reliable and the tv is reliant on the internet working. It would’ve been really nice if upon arrival there was a bag of logs for the wood burning fire. We arrived much later than planned because of the snow and nowhere was open by the time we got onto the island. So we couldn’t light a fire till the next day when we were able to buy some wood.
- Susan (9/5): - Lovely location to explore all of Skye
- Maria (9/5): Lovely cottage, great base for our needs. - The inside of the house is fabulous! Beautifully decorated and clean. Super comfortable.
Garden needs a bit of a spruce, but it was October, so we didn't sit out anyway. The mouse and droppings in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. We reported it. Vermin control apparently visiting, but he didnt turn up during our stay.
- Lisa (9/5): Nice clean house - Clean and had everything we needed Nothing
- Steven (7/5): We all loved our stay and thought the cottage was beautiful! - Location, cleanliness, peacefulness and perfect base to explore surroundings. Shower was not great and garden needs tidied up.
- Christodoulos (3/5): Very disappointing - The kitchen was poorly equipped, the bed linen was far too hot, the lavatory made startling noises all through the night even though not in use, and the entire property could have done with a deep clean and some freshening up.
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Lovely location, in a quiet spot with lovely views but not too far from Broadford town The electric heaters took quite a while to heat a room - luckily the weather was quite mild for October so we could be patient waiting on an evening but I wouldn’t like to be there in winter
- Alison (7/5): Good - Comfortable cottage. Well situated for exploring Skye. Not a very well equipped kitchen. Only 2 wineglasses for a cottage for 4! No spare bin bags, just the one in the bin. Tin opener not working. Minimal crockery.
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (9/5): Magical time had in Skye will definitely be returning!!! - A cosy cottage with all facilities you need plus dog friendly so a bonus Nothing it was prefect for my needs
