• Marie (10/5): Authenticité et accueil chaleureux - Authentique Riad, accueil exceptionnel à la marocaine: Sourire, amabilité, service, tout est au rendez vous. On nous a récupéré devant le Zeitoun café pour nous accompagner jusqu’au Riad qui se trouve quelques mètres plus loin dans le dédale de la Médina. Effectivement, ça peut paraître compliqué quand on ne connaît pas mais l’accueil est là!! Le Riad est confortable, calme et bien tenu. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, et conséquent. Le personnel est top, discret mais présent. Et nous sommes partis à 3 h30, et il nous a raccompagné nuitamment jusqu’au taxi qui nous attendait. Sincèrement, je m’incline devant autant de dévouement pour sa clientèle. Cerise sur le gâteau: on a adoré ( mes enfants et moi), Mimoun, David les 2 chats affectueux du Riad et Luna le bouledogue français. Franchement c’était top et je le recommande mille fois. J’ai tout aimé

• Magdalena (9/5): - It's nice & quiet Riad, walking distance to touristsic attractions. The stuff was amazing, especially Ali- he was super kind and very helpful with everything! Bed was very comfortable - with a hard mattress I liked a lot! There was hitting in the bathroom all the time on, which was great because evenings were a bit chill (in May). But there is also an airco in the room, so you can use it as a heating, and one separate heating you could use if needed. I was totally fine with using an airco only. To get to Riad, you must walk through a small market, where they sell fresh meat and fish. And the small wasn't great... so if you're sensitive to this kind of things, it might bother you.
• Clara (10/5): Enchantement et sensation de comme à la maison - L'accueil, la bienveillance, le professionnalisme du personnel ! Les chambres sont très propres, les couloirs sont lavés tous les jours. Les petit-déjeuners sont différents chaque jour, délicieux et très copieux. Superbe terrasse avec vue et proche d'un jardin, on entend les oiseaux le matin. La piscine est très agréable pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée. Le riad a accepté de stocker nos cartons de vélo pendant 2 semaines. Les chambres sont spacieuses et chaleureuses. J'y ai passé 5 nuits en tout et je me suis toujours sentie comme à la maison. Merci pour l'accueil ! Le matelas de la chambre double est moins confortable que celui de la chambre triple

• Hector (2/5): Beautiful Charm, but impossible to sleep - I have mixed feelings about our recent stay here. There were certainly some highlights, but unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives for us. The Positives: The Staff: Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. A special mention goes to Ali, who was a truly helpful and kind man. He made us feel very welcome. The Atmosphere: The building itself has wonderful old charm. We loved the breakfast company—two adorable kittens, a friendly dog, and birds flying around the courtyard. Location: The Riad is well-located and very close to the markets. Once you find it the first time, it is easy to navigate the Old Town from there. Extreme Noise: If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is not it. There was very loud music playing during the day and deep into the night (sometimes until 2:00 AM or even 4:00 AM). People were talking loudly at all hours. Even with high-quality noise-canceling headphones, I could not block out the sound. The Bed & Comfort: The bed was very uncomfortable—extremely hard and tilted at an awkward angle. Furthermore, the bed covers were very itchy, to the point where we were concerned about bedbugs. Overall Sleep Quality: Between the noise and the bed, it was impossible to get proper rest. While we appreciated Ali’s hospitality and the charm of the building, a Riad should first and foremost be a place to rest. Because of the noise levels and the poor quality of the bed, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Marrakesh.

Lo staff è stato eccezionale, sempre gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, in particolare Ali che ci ha fatti sentire come a casa. La colazione era semplicemente deliziosa, con prodotti ottimi e una grande varietà: uno dei punti forti del soggiorno! La struttura è un po’ difficile da individuare inizialmente, ma una volta capito il percorso ci si arriva senza problemi. Inoltre si trova in una posizione ottima, a circa 15 minuti dalla piazza principale. Consiglio di andare in terrazza per vedere il tramonto. Esperienza super positiva, torneremo sicuramente! Un saluto speciale alla dolcissima Luna 🐾 Nulla tutto perfetto

Nous avons donc dû chercher nous-mêmes une place et marcher avec nos affaires à travers des ruelles sombres de la médina en pleine nuit. Une fois arrivés sur place, nouveau choc : on nous annonce finalement que la chambre n’est plus disponible. Et au lieu de gérer la situation correctement, on nous propose après minuit de nous emmener “ailleurs”, dans un autre logement inconnu. Situation extrêmement stressante et franchement inquiétante quand on est fatigués, chargés et qu’on ne connaît pas les lieux. Aucune organisation, informations mensongères, aucun professionnalisme et surtout un énorme sentiment d’insécurité. Expérience catastrophique. Tout À FUIR ABSOLUMENT. • Nabil (8/5): Le Riadh est reposant dans un quartier animé. Un réel plaisir et une surprise dès que l’on franchit la porte du Riad - L’architecture et la qualité des espaces.

Dîner et petits déjeuners d’un bon rapport qualité prix, La piscine n’est pas chauffée et nous n’avons pas eu l’explication pour l’accès au toit terrasse

Le séjour s’est bien passé dans l’ensemble. Rien de particulier à signaler. Quelques petits détails pourraient être améliorés, mais cela n’a pas gêné le séjour.

• Tine (9/5): - Yassine is een heel vriendelijke gastheer. De Riad is heel mooi en rustig gelegen, maar toch op wandelafstand van enkele bezienswaardigheden. De Riad heeft een klein zwembad en een terras. Ruime kamer met goede bedden. Heel lekker en gevarieerd ontbijt. Op onze vertrekdag kregen we een ontbijtpakket mee naar de luchthaven. Weinig waterdruk in de badkamer.

The legs were like horns and we kept tripping over them. There were wooden bits jutting out of the doorway which we kept bumping into. The pool was very cold.

• Kai (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. The Riad is absolutely gorgeous and the room was amazing. The location is a bit off the beaten track and you have to get through some dark corners to get to it, but it always felt save and the area of the hotel was very nice with some more local than touristic markets. The shower wasn't always warm and the wifi wasn't great, but that wasn't very important.

The Riad is basically a beautiful castle from a fairy tale. Cosy place, delicious dinner from hosts, beautiful and spacious rooms, wonderful bathroom all helped our family to relax to max!! No dislikes, all was perfect
• Mario (10/5): Un riad storico, accogliente e piacevole. - Un riad pieno di fascino, arredato con gusto, con gestori attenti e sempre presenti. Esplorare i suoi ambienti, dalla piscina fino alla splendida terrazza, è un piacere. Camera molto spaziosa in tre, con il terzo letto su un soppalco con scala a chiocciola. Colazione abbondante e saporita, servita nel "giardino" centrale. Silenziosissimo! Essendo un edificio antico, con un impianto idraulico datato, a camera chiusa si formano odori "di vecchio"; si notano anche risalite di umidità da terra. Non è un vero problema, la pulizia c'è tutta. Non raggiungibile in auto, bisogna attraversare a piedi un tratto di mercato piuttosto frequentato di giorno, e la sera ci sono rifiuti e odore di pesce. Zero problemi di sicurezza comunque. Trovandosi al piano terra, con interni scuri, l'illuminazione la sera è un po' bassa; fa atmosfera, ma a volte se ne desidererebbe di più.

Wunderbare Dachterrasse Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Reparaturen wären notwendig.. Bessere Beleuchtung in den Zimmern wäre schön. Das Internet im Zimmer war so schwach, dass ein Arbeitrn dort unmöglich war. Bad war schmutzig
• Dan (10/5): The most perfect place to stay! - The property was exceptional. The architecture and decor is exactly as you see in the images. You can truly feel the history within the walls. The location is perfect for exploring all the popular spots and destinations within the city. There was one thing that stood out however and it was the hospitality that the staff showed from the minute we checked in. Our host, Ali, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, provided tips on how best to get around and what to expect within the city. It felt as though he was always around if there was ever anything you needed to ask. There was even one day, when zooming past on his scooter on the little alleyways, that he stopped to make sure everything was ok as he did not see us for breakfast that morning showcasing the attention to detail and hospitality he showed. Ali and the team are a credit to Riad Sarasvati.

• Petra (10/5): Es war perfekt 👌 - Das 400 Jahre alte Riad ist liebevoll renoviert, die Zimmer sehr geräumig, ebenso das Badezimmer. Der Hotelmanager Ali liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Neben Englisch und Französisch spricht er auch Spanisch und Italienisch, sodass es nie Probleme mit der Kommunikation gibt. Wir haben uns eine Woche rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Ali, wir werden dich nicht vergessen. -/-

• Gonzalo Cruz (8/5): Bien, pero podría haber estado excelente si se cuidaba el detalle del servicio - El interior del Riad era magnífico y la atención del personal bastante buena. El desayuno en el patio era muy placentero. No respondieron al teléfono cuando estábamos llegando por lo que tuvimos que llegar adivinando el circuito complicado en la Kasbah. No aconsejo reservar excursiones en este Riad porque la agencia no es fiable. Nos prometieron una cosa y a último momento nos cambiaron sin compensar nada, nuestra opción era tomarlo o dejarlo y ya no teníamos tiempo para realizar la excursión si cancelábamos. No fue ni serio ni responsable el trato con la agencia.

• Vitjaphol Gunn (10/5): Would happily stay again - A beautiful riad in a lovingly preserved historical building. The hosts Ali and Fatima are excellent and took great care of us. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent - quiet but close to the main attractions. Use Apple Maps to navigate to the riad.

Un accueil de qualité en la personne de Ali qui donne de toute sa personne avec une gentillesse incroyable et une cuisinière hors pair qui met tout en œuvre pour satisfaire les voyageurs. Comme se plaît à dire Ali « ici c’est ta maison «  merci pour ce séjour qui restera gravé dans nos cœurs marqué par la gentillesse et la disponibilité d’Ali et Fatima nous y reviendrons ❤️❤️❤️ Tout était parfait
• Frécinès (9/5): Ali et Fatima sont la crème de la crème des hôtes!!! De véritables amours de À à Z! - Le Riad Sarasvati est super! J’ai passé un excellent séjour avec ma fille. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai atout indéniable car absolument délicieux et généreux. Problème de luminosité dans ma chambre notamment deux appliques en panne. C’était peu confortable.
• Franck (8/5): - Riad typique de la medina. Ali s'est occupé de nous au dela de nos attentes (jusqu'à se lever pour nous emmener a notre taxi à 3h du matin). Le petit dej est excellent. Le riad est au coeur du quartier Kasbah dans la Medina, c'est secure mais certains pourraient se sentir pas à l'aise pour aller à pied jusqu'au riad. Comme c'est un riad, les chambres donnent sur l'interieur du riad, donc ne sont pas très claire, il faut avoir la lumière allumée en permanence.
• Judith (9/5): Sehr gastfreundlicher und komfortabler Aufenthalt, bei dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. - Ali und sein Team waren super freundlich und haben uns jederzeit weitergeholfen, egal ob mit Tipps zu Besuchen in der Medina, zur weiteren Reise oder mit der Änderung unserer Frühstückszeit. Das Zimmer war geräumig und mit der Hochebene für eine dritte Person perfekt. Die Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte gut, so dass wir auch bei den niedrigen Temperaturen nicht gefroren haben. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich und wurde im Innenhof serviert. Dort waren es Anfang März morgens in der Regel 8-10°. Von der Unterkunft läuft man etwa 12 Minuten zum zentralen Platz. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße eher etwas abseits vom Touri Trubel am südlichen Rand der Medina. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, das nächste Mal aber wiederkommen, wenn es etwas wärmer ist und wir auch die Dachterrasse und dem Pool nutzen können.

• Alexander (10/5): Beautiful and Spacious Riad, Great Hospitality - I had a great stay at Riad Sarasvati. The property itself is quite beautiful and a quiet escape from the hectic streets of the Medina. My room was extremely comfortable and spacious, at times I didn’t want to leave. Alii, the Riad host was wonderfully hospitable. He greeted me warmly with mint tea upon my arrival, offered me advice and help navigating Marrakech. He was available if I needed anything and regularly checked up to ensure I was enjoying my stay. Upon my departure he also arranged for an airport transfer in a nice vehicle at a fair price, saving me from having to haggle with taxi drivers. The location of the Riad is relatively hard to find on your own. It’s best to ask for an airport transfer and to meet up with Alii when arriving, if you are not the best navigator. If you go on your own use Apple Maps, because it shows the street the alley the entrance is located in, Google does not. Don’t ask for directions on the street, people will expect money. Also, don’t fall for the “it’s closed scam,” it’s not. These last two things are not specific to this property though, but true for all of the old Medina of Marrakech.

• conny (10/5): Für uns war es ein toller, entspannter Aufenthalt, jederzeit gerne wieder. - Das Ambiente war so schön, inmitten von Marrakech eine kleine feine Oase. Sehr ruhig, entspannt und mit ganz viel Liebe gemacht. Wir haben uns zu dritt sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke Ali 🫶🏼. Es hat uns alles gefallen 👍.

Le personnel est incroyablement disponible avec un sens du service extraordinaire . La riad est proche du centre touristique ( 10 min a pied de la place J e F) mais au calme La riad est dans la medina et n’a pas son propre parking contrairement a ce qui est noté dans l’annonce. Je vous conseille de vous garer juste a l’extérieur de la medina au niveau de la porte , il y a plein de parking gardé pas cher et venir a pied a la riad (5 min ) . La ruelle d’accès au Riad est en travaux
• Paul (10/5): Lovely stay in the Kasbah - We had a great stay here! The breakfast was amazing with a good mix of Moroccan treats. Our room was spacious and the building was beautiful. It probably would have been tough to find, but Ali picked us up after our late night flight and it was great to be close to some local markets. The Medina was about a 20 minute walk with a pram, which was great for us, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. Ali was incredible- he was so helpful and did everything to make our stay really comfortable. The pool seemed like it was more for decoration, but that didn't bother us as we spent our days in and around the city.

• Crystal (10/5): Perfect experience! - Our host, Ali, was exceptionally gracious. Ali greeted us at the door, offered us tea and cake, gave us a tour of the Riad and sat with us to go over a map of the City. Ali spent special time to answer our questions which was very helpful as first time visitors to the Country. During our stay, Ali offered us a complete breakfast each morning and welcomed us back in the afternoons/evenings to ensure we were enjoying our holiday; that we had the information we needed; and that the accommodation was suitable. Ali walked us to meet a transfer car to an excursion when we weren't sure where the meeting point was - the support we received made it feel like we were staying with family. The room was clean and tidy and the Riad itself is beautiful. We were a couple celebrating our 25th anniversary and shared the Riad with young families that seemed to be also enjoying their stay. The proximity to Bab Aganou was handy for tour pick up points - less than 10 minutes walk. Likewise, approx. 15 minutes walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and souks. I would recommend Riad Sarasvati to any traveler. Loved every minute! No complaints.

Un petit déjeuner qui c - Le point fort du Riad c’est Ali notre hôte qui a était incroyable du début à la fin de notre séjour, il nous a accueillis comme des rois, nous a expliqué la carte de la ville, conseiller certains endroits à visiter et restaurants … Dommage que la piscine soit hors service nous aurions aimé le savoir avant notre arrivée La clef pour rentrer dans le Riad étant neuve il était difficile de l’ouvrir du premier coup.
• Sofia (8/5): Skøn Riad, som jeg ville vælge igen en anden gangs - Smuk, smuk bygning- inde i Riad’en var der helt stille fra byen, men til gengæld var der fugle sang og kvidren. Ved solopgang og solnedgang fløj storkene henover, det var fascinerende at se. Mad og service var helt i top. Stedet mangler lidt indretning. Det var meget spartansk.
