Guest Reviews
- Francisco (8/5): Very good -
- Rapha (1/5): Run away ! FUYEZ - Rien Fuyez!! Run away!
No reception, the people who lives there open the door for you
The owner doesn't answer our messages
She cames at 22pm to collect the money
Says breakfast included but not on Sunday (of course we booked a Saturday night)
The worse for me was : no toilet paper
Is it a joke? (+ Toilet disgusting )
Of course the gaz cooker didn't work
And of course there was no hot water
A pillowcase was missing (I used my T-shirt to cover)
And this morning I woke up with many many bedbugs bites ..
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Arthur (3/5): If you're a tourist, I wouldn't recommend going there. - The staff was welcoming. The hostel was really unclean. I found a few insects in my bed, and the shower was clogged. Additionally, the location of the hostel didn’t feel very safe.
- Daniel (3/5): As expected for the cheapest place in Bogotá - The terrace
The location Being the cheapest hostel in the city it was as expected. There is no reception, basically just a house. Not very clean, but that is more down to the type of guests that stay there. I did see someone clean during my stay so it does get done and quite well, but the guests were like pigs. Bring your own toilet paper too. WiFi wasn't working when I was there and breakfast is at a restaurant around the corner but wasn't open when I went on my first morning and didn't bother seeing if that was the case on the other days
- Fernando (2/5): Very expensive due to purchase of bite medication - It was too late in the morning in a different location Bed bugs
- Travares (3/5): Only for a desperate stay. 1 night - Location is the only tjing this hostal has going for it. Nancy, the person who seems to be in charge took away the gas cylinder, so no cooking could be done. Also, toilet paper is often amiss. Place advertised free breakfast but that is not correct.
- Alejandro (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrés (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luis (9/5): Superb -
- Ville (4/5): A cheap place to sleep, nothing else - Laid-back atmosphere, next to a nice bakery with good breakfast, hot shower Dirty, no toilet paper, sheets were not clean, found a dead bed bug on my bed, staff not always there, there was no breakfast as promised (one of the reasons why I chose the place was the prospect of a free breakfast… not sure if problem is with them or with booking), also a bit hard to find with no sign
- Missionary4christ (1/5): Horrible - Nothing I didn't stay. Read what I didn't like. I left a message my flight was delayed and I would arrive late. No reply. I got there and called and the guy was rude and said I could check in later. Someone let me in and I took my staff upstairs to this super small kitchen. The photos are deceitful. I've stayed in some really cheap places around the world and you get what you pay for with honest photos and descriptions but this place is not even close to its booking.com descriptions. My Uber driver was scared to leave me there but he knew my friend was coming. What a waste of 16,500 pesos.
- Benoit (6/5): Ok but could be much better. - Good location in Chapinero
The beds are really nice, with good mattresses and curtains. Getting the door open for check-in was a bit of a struggle, with no signage and no answer to the bell.
The place is quite small and not so clean.
- Enrique (1/5): Bad experiencie - Nothing I arrived 11:30pm and there was no one in charge, a guest had to wake up and open the door. Then the one in charge woke up and atended me in towel. No amability and 0 guest service.Very unclean areas: kitchen and bathrooms. Bad smell at the kitchen like something was rotten. Besides I made the reserve with breakfast included, he told me they were not giving breakfast anymore. I just stayed for one night even though I reserved for two nights. I couldn't stand it. No recomended at all. Avoid this option if you are near Chapinero.
- Jheyson (6/5): Pleasant -
- Leo (6/5): Pleasant - The cheapest price in Bogota. Strong Wi-Fi. Hot water. Lounge area in the photo. They don't provide towels, they don't provide breakfast on Sunday. There is no toilet paper. The restaurant where you can get breakfast in the photo. Spanish only.
- Máté (9/5): Superb - Best beds and really good people. For this price it's an easy choice in Bogota
- Zsanett (8/5): Very good - The staff is amazing, the breakfast is tasty. Fastest internet in the country!!!! The place is a little bit humid in general.
- Brian (7/5): pretty good, but wake up super early if you want breakfast. - the big thick duvet was nice after sleeping under a tiny blanket in another hostel.
the roof area shown in first picture was a nice place to hang out and talk to travelers.
you get your own key to come and go as you please without having to be rung in.
bathrooms were very clean. hot water in the shower. i missed every breakfast because i guess they serve it for a short time close to dawn. i woke up as early as 7:30am and everyone was already done eating, no food in sight.
lockers aren't very secure.
no sign or indication that it is a hostel, but the florists will point you to the right place.
- Timothy (8/5): budget friendly place in a lively neighbourhood - we (european backpacker couple) got upgraded from the 4-bed-dorm to a private room in another location 5 min walking distance. this was very comfortable. warm water shower, basic kitchen facilities, fridge. there are many shops and restaurants around. easy busride to the center / la candelaria. finding the place for check-in could have been easier because there is no sign or anything. it's a black door inbetween flower-shops. if you're not sure, ask the flower-shop-workers to confirm before knocking the door. after knocking several times another guest opened for us and then we waited until someone from the staff arrived.
we didn't receive a key for our room. they said it got lost by the previous guests. this was a bit uncomfortable but in the end nothing got stolen.
- Junyeon (3/5): Poor -
- Danilo (8/5): Very good -
- Paula (1/5): The worst hostel. My belongings were stoled there. - My belongings were stole from the room I was staying. My laptop and many other things that were in my backpack. This is a terrible place and the people who work there is untrustful. My belongings were stole from the room I was staying. My laptop and many other things that were in my backpack. This is a terrible place and the people who work there is untrustful.
- Michele (6/5): Pleasant - It was good for the money Had to wait 3 days for the gas so I couldn't cook
- Olga (3/5): Poor - Worse experience in my life! Was treated so badly.
Don't recommend to anyone!
- Qinghua (8/5): Very good -
- Daga (7/5): Good - location ande price
- Silvia (8/5): Very good - I like it because it was clean and beds were comfortable and have curtains for privacy No much facilities to cook your own food ,some guests were very uconsiderated
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - I liked everything, the employees are great people and it's a safe place to stay. All the common areas are very clean and welcoming. The beds are really comfortable and I slept so well. I will be back to stay here on all my solo trips to Bogota. Everything was perfect. No complaints from me 😉
- Jeison (9/5): Superb -
- Magdalena (7/5): Good for a short stay - The hostel was clean, location convinient with various options of public transport nearby. The staff was nice and helpful. The kitchen is basic, but it works. The dorm has very little space for your staff and there is very little common space in general - the rooftop is tiny and doesn't look as nice as on the photos.
- Lee (6/5): Pleasant - The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. 1, Smell from the bed due to long-term stay 2, The overall facilities are old, the shower water is lukewarm, and the water from the drain is flowing.
- Mikhail (2/5): Very poor - the hostel is clean and the staff is good They didn’t serve breakfast, this is the first time I’ve encountered such impudence, that’s why two stars for impudence!
- Bessi (7/5): Good -
- Ysabel (2/5): don’t stay here even if it’s cheap - the location is okay and it had lockers and curtains very weird people, there was no toilet paper in any bathroom, staff was just someone sleeping in a bunk when I arrived (during the day) who didn’t have a key for me, very cold, curtain fell off easily, dirty kitchen - felt unsafe
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Espino (1/5): Bad - nothing i was threatened by a neighbor of the property and i told the owner or manager and ill they said was to leave i had messages and threaths there was no staff the place was dirty and nasty
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ciaran (6/5): Not really capsules - Comfortable bed, breakfast was ok. Good location opposite Flores Transmilenio Station. No reception, no sign of management. I believe there is another location next to the restaurant where breakfast was served. Looked a better option but probably more expensive. Guests are allowed to check in at any hour. Be prepared to be woken at 7 am.
- Jean-baptiste (10/5): Exceptional - All Nothing
- Jacopo (9/5): Superb -
- Andre033 (6/5): Pleasant -
- Oscar (9/5): Superb - Cerk a estadio de transporte LAS FLORES
- Naikely (8/5): Very good -
- Junpei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gonçalo (6/5): Simple room and breakfast, fair for price - The room was very basic and small with no windows and the breakfast you have it in a restaurant about 5min walking from the hostel. The breakfast is very simple as well and the facilites are also very simple. It's like an apartment trasnformed in a hostel with several rooms but the thinkg is for the price is fair what they give you. room very small and with no windows. Breakfast outside of the property.
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Yuto (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (1/5): Bad -
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional -
- O'brien (10/5): Exceptional - This hostel was really accommodation for someone whose Spanish is elementary level they tried really hard to be welcoming and giving me tips on where to travel etc really good value for money.
- Alberto (9/5): Superb -
- Peñaloza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Drew (8/5): Very good - Everything is nice, new and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included for this price is a nice bonus. Basic but pleasant. There are other hostels in the area that are in a similar price range that offer better facilities. There is no kitchen to cook in here for example. But you do get a free breakfast and other places don't offer that for this price.
