• Elisabeth (10/5): Une expérience unique - La maison était encore plus belle que ne le laissait supposer les photos. La situation géographique avec la mer à deux mètres de la maison était idéale. On est près de Westport mais totalement au calme. Par toutes les fenêtres des pièces de vie (cuisine, salle à manger, salon), on voyait la mer. On a eu l'impression d'être partis en croisière ! La literie était haut de gamme et nous avons merveilleusement bien dormi. Mention spéciale à Carol, notre hôtesse, qui était exceptionnellement gentille et serviable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié tout ce qu'elle avait prévu pour nous recevoir notamment son pain fait maison dont nous nous sommes régalés ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçus ! Tout était parfait.

• Dara (10/5): The most amazing views, clean throughout, amazing host, nothing was too much trouble. - Everything! The view was actually unbelievable. You sit in the kitchen or living room and the sea is literally just there. Mum had the double room, I took the bunk bed and I swear it was the best sleep I had in years. The welcome pack was the best I’ve seen to date. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Nothing, perfect!

Carol was very helpful to satisfy all of our needs while we were there. Everything was clean and comfortable, also we found all the kitchenware that we needed during our stay. Plenty of books are available at the house, nobody can be bored there. People were very friendly in the area. We all had a very enjoyable stay there. Both Westport and Achill Island are easily accessible, plenty of beautiful views in the whole area.

The welcome basket was very much appreciated and thoughtful. The owner gave us lots of recommendations of place to visit and eat. Nothing, everything was perfect, even the weather!

Firstly a lovely warm welcome from Carol who had kindly supplied some lovely Christmas goodies and made the cottage warm and welcoming. The well appointed cottage was fabulous with glorious views over the water towards the mountains and a slipway only a few metres away from the kitchen window where it is possible to swim at high water providing you are suitably competent.
