Guest Reviews
- Philakone (1/5): Cat Phishing dishonest host. - Do not book this place. You will be cat phished. The place is nothing like the photos. The place is very small, dirty, and on the 6th floor without an elevator which you don't find out until you arrive.. It's also in the middle of an LGBT area which they don't tell you the location until you reserve it. Avoid this place. The photos have nice decorations. But the actual place had no decoration at all. We had to leave and book a new place. Very dishonest cat phising host.
- Hamira (1/5): Never again - It was a scam we didn’t stay. Requested a refund still waiting reply The pictures are a lie. The apartment was awful we couldn’t stay 5mins
- Ruxandra (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (3/5): It gave us somewhere to sleep and get ready but wouldn’t go back. - The property was clean. It didn’t look anything like the pictures. It was in a really rough area which had I known this I would never have took my kids! We were also 4 floors up but it felt like 10 floors up. When our taxi picked us up to take us to the airport he said he trys to avoid the area because of the amount of drugs and prostitution. We were right above bars and the music was so so loud!
- Abdullah (5/5): Passable - Bad experience in sending several messages threatening that my reservation is to be cancelled if I don’t login certain link and my data, then they apologize and they do it again (happened multiple times)
Extremely hot because no AC and location was too noisy
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Gavin (8/5): Very good - Location Wifi was not great.
- Takashi (10/5): Exceptional - the staff is very flexible even though I was delayed.
- Santosh (7/5): did not like the behaviour of the host, the location was substandard and pretty average place - overall an average place to stay. The Property operator changed the location without our permission. The host was extremely curt, took about 2 hours to get the keys . We stayed there for 6 days and had informed them that we were 3 people staying, but only 2 towels provided, poor toileteries, no bedsheet for the sofa cum bed.
When we called or chatted with the host, they were pretty inhospitalable. had to push had to get the 3rd towel and the toiletaries delivered on the 3rd day. How can anyone change the location of the apartment, we had booked looking at the location, closeness to tubes, indian resturant and business centre. The new location was about 1 km away, in a shaddy location, full of dance bars ( cabarets and massage centres) not advisable to stay with wife and a 15 year old daughter. The premium paid for the location gone down the drain.
In the location we had booked, buying provisions was pretty close by.
- A (8/5): Family Fun - The location can't be beat. Centrally located to public transportation and walking for so many places. We literally checked the box of all the major site seeing locations and some off the path places we wanted to see from this place. Many restaurants and shops are walking distance or if you want to have more greenery and don't mind a nice walk Hyde Park was a doable walk for us with children and a great break from the city. The apartment was nice having a full kitchen was great, the staff helpful and waited for us even with a very late arrival and they were very pleasant and kind even at the late hour offering to help with carrying some luggage. Our fan didn't work which made it a bit warm during the day since the apartment have many skylights that allows great sunlight but also heat in the summer. Wish we had an alternative or additional fan to stay cool.
- Terry (9/5): Very nice - Location comfortable 4 flights of stairs …but not a big deal
- Katherine (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (7/5): Staff were friendly and kept in touch. Location great. Very hot in apartment but did provide fans. - Close to location we wanted The beds and sofa weren’t the most comfortable
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing location, amazing apartment! - The perfect location! Loved that it had all the amenities so we could make breaky in the morning. Everything was perfect!
- Dana (9/5): Superb -
- Kinpeng (3/5): Poor -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Raymond (5/5): A comfortable stay & great location, but don't arrive home before 3am if you want to get any sleep. - I liked the location of the property as we very Central. We had two apartments as staying with a family so was veery convenient, and comfortable. The delay in receiving the keys. This was over an hour later than an already late check in time of 3pm.
We had an apartment that overlooked the street, and the noise was extremely loud, meaning sleep was a challenge.
- Francesco (10/5): Great stay. Location is perfect and apartment is really comfortable. - Apartment recently renewed and definitely in great position in Picadilly. Wi-fi data is not so fast.
- Juliana (4/5): Disappointing - Basically nothing. The place looked different in comparision to photos on booking.com Miserable cleaning, dirt everywhere. Cockroach inside of a bathroom. Sticky floor. Hair from previous guests visible on rug.
- Richard (8/5): Very good - The apartment was lovely and spacious. Although we didn't use the kitchen much there was all the appliances you would need for a self catering stay.
We would be very happy to stay here again.
The location was perfect.
- Peter (6/5): Flat was nice good location but sirens spoiled it. - Location was good. Emergency services sirens going off all week every 10 min
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very central and very clean, 3 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.
- Dawn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Grobler (9/5): Great just advise on accessibility so people can make a decision based on their ability. - Location, Could walk to most attractions. Not exactly as pictured but still nice. Was in Soho and a few minutes walk from underground piccadilly circus . I caught train directly from heathrow to piccadilly circus. Theatres, Chinatown, Leicester Square all very easy walk. The stairs to get to it, no lift option. This should be stated as there is 5 flights of old steep stairs (82 i counted them) to navigate. The staff member kindly took my suitcase up but when it time to leave i had to navigate getting it down again. I am afraid of stairs and had to take it very slowly.
- Mai (8/5): Would be back if not for the stale smoke smell. - Location. Fabulous. Well equipped. Despite it being non smoking when we arrived the apartment stank of long term cigarettes. No amount of opening windows would clear it. We bought fabreeze to help.
Creeky chair.
No tea bags just coffee.
- James (3/5): Poor - Nothing Called me to cancel the day I already booked, left us nowhere to go , we had to drive back from London to Norfolk
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Flat was modern clean and tidy. Good communication for arrangement of entry and key pick up. Nothing
- Natalie (3/5): Poor - not as advertised - The location is central and the actual cleanliness of the apartment was good. The apartments used in the photographs are not of the actual apartments that you stay in. It is false advertising. I contacted the host at the time who said they use a variety of pictures - I have scoured through all pictures on booking.com and not one shows the apartment we stayed in. I have contacted booking.com as this really is not acceptable, unfortunately though despite having sent the message to customer services over 24 hours ago, I am still awaiting a response.
The apartment smelt awful - you are above a slim chicken and so the smell of cooking is over powering.
Piles of rubbish were outside the main door (again that smelt). This, along with the homeless people injecting themselves on the door step is not an ideal environment for children when coming to and from the accommodation. There are rat/mouse traps all inside the stairwell leading up to the accommodation which I suppose is reassuring? Again, I contacted the host but they said there was nothing they could do. We ensured we were quick to get in and out and we never came back late.
We were travelling as a family and as such did not want to spend all evening out, the apartment was not pleasant enough though for you to want to stay in and cook or have a few drinks and watch TV. The TV is basic, not a smart TV and the signal is poor. The apartment smelt bad, this is largely due to being over the restaurant and is worse in the stairwell.
The bathroom is awful - old fixtures and fittings. A build up of limescale around the shower screen and the shower heads. Also black mould inside the jets on the bath.
If we could have afforded to book somewhere else when we arrived then we would have.
- Dawson (7/5): I liked the apartment. For the money paid I would have liked things not chipped - Living room
Clean
I thought for the price I paid it would have been serviced at least every week. Homeless people on door step taking drugs
Lift was not working for at least a week
The pillows were not comfortable
They were not new they were lumpy.
Cups were all chipped
Coffee machine but no coffee
No tea towel
The duvet was small I used the two single ones
Towels we’re the same from the beginning to the end of stay
No house keeping
Only 2 toilet rolls
Living room was more insulated from the noise than the bedroom
- Fiona (6/5): Great location, clean, but dated. Inaccurate photos on listing. - The apartment was spotlessly clean. In a perfect location, beside Leicester Square and very close to Tottenham Court Road underground stations. Private entrance made it feel very safe and secure. Host was very quick to reply to messages. Heating was brilliant in the apartment. The photos here are nothing like the apartment we were assigned. Although it was spotlessly clean, the apartment is in much need of refurbishment.
The bed desperately needs replaced, bathroom door doesn't close, bathroom sink plug doesn't work, shower was lukewarm, carpeting could do with being replaced, WiFi didn't work.
- Fadhli (8/5): Very good -
- Zuzanna (5/5): Passable - Central location This was our second time staying here. We stayed at the property last year and had an amazing time! Our communication with the management was great, well not this time. It was hard to get a hold of them. The window in the living room was broken, the hinges were not lining up, so I asked to send someone as it was cold and noisy at night. I was told someone will come. Never happened. The entire week!!! No kitchen towels or paper towels in the kitchen. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for a week… Not sure if we were unlucky with who was on the other side of the phone this time, but I do not think we will be staying here again.
- Nadege (7/5): Great for central London, not for comfort. - The location was perfect. Very central. It was not very comfortable. The sofa and beds were hard and springy.
- Jessica (9/5): Excellent and comfortable - It was simple but just what we needed More mirrors required, only one in bathroom
- Smith (8/5): Very good - Broadband needs improving guys!!
- Caroline (1/5): Scam. Don't waste your money. - Unfortunately, although the apartment we were put in was aesthetically okay, it was 1 2 miles away in Soho, when we booked Leicester square, for work purposes.
It wasn't suitable , distance wise. When we spoke to the office and explained we didnt book this address, and sent screenshots of our booking to back that up, their excuse was the Booking.com address is allegedly just a central point, and once we booked they allocate us a room. When we persevered with the complaint, they then told us we had actually booked this apartment. Ridiculous when we had the proof in front of us of the apartment we booked.
On closer inspection we found the shower controls were broken, there were no Saucepans, apart from a dirty one with oil in, stored in the boiler cupboard?! The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, there was only one spoon in the whole apartment, and no hairdryer. The conditioner had separated , and was not usable.
Only one set of keys , which was no good as we were all working different finish times, between 1am and 5am.
We unfortunately had to leave and find somewhere more suitable distance wise.
- Alissa (7/5): Good -
- Suvi (7/5): Good - Appartment was clean and nice. I received the location 3 days before our trip and it was a little surprise that the appartment was in fourt floor (actually fifth). Long days walking and then climbing up to the appartment 😅 It was still fine with us but it would have been nice to know in advance.
- Caroline (7/5): Good - Nice appartment in central London
- Liam (7/5): Slight Mis-advertised of from the pictures / Check In had to wait around 30 mins / Great Location -
- Ken (5/5): Passable - Excellent position We booked the property based on the description on booking.com the position was partially important because we already had a apartment
Booked for our friends
However the address was switched without any contact from anybody
And no matter what I tried I was unable to get through to the company
- Mariela (9/5): Superb - To noisy 🫣
- Nicola (7/5): A pleasant but expensive nights stay. - Lovely and modern apartment. Some lovely little touches so it felt like a home from home. The stairway leading to apartment was a bit shabby and front door had been vandalised (graffiti).
One of the pillows looked like it had dry blood on it or it was washed and stained. Noisy on a night time, cars revving and seemed to be racing on nearby street.
- Emel (8/5): Very good -
- Tiff (8/5): Great pad bang in the centre of London - High ceilings and all amenities provided. Comfy bed and sofa bed. Three flights of stairs. Shower wasn't connected to the wall. Kettle blew the fuses. Veluslx windows wouldn't open.
Shower fixed, kettle replaced same day.
- Fayez (5/5): The place was different than what we booked, the place at the corner and was extremely noisy - Location My place was in second floor with no elevator
I was not told it was in upper floor with no elevator
The stairs are very narrow we struggled to get the luggage’s upstairs. I have back problem
- Nicola (9/5): Fabulous - we’ll be back - Location was superb It was very noisy in the evenings / night times and be aware of all the stairs although that didn’t bother me.
There were only 3 tiny coffee cups , it really needs mugs and more cups
- Michael (9/5): great location and fully equipped apartment. - Location was great, host met us at 2am to show us in (after hours check in fee applied)
fully equipped kitchen and washing machine/dryer/dishwasher Apartment was on top floor - about 6 flights of stairs. We only had carry-on bags but if you had large bags it would be a real struggle in the narrow staircase.
Sofa bed wasn't made up on arrival (all linen was provided though)
- Y.l (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (6/5): Did what I needed it to do. Great location. - Amazing location. Looks nothing like the photos! Haha. Very old decor. Very aged old kitchen. Carpets pulling up and dirty. Lipstick on the bathroom floor mat. We had to vac ourselves when we arrived, due to clumps of hair.
- V (9/5): Superb - We liked the location, comfort and cleanliness. No tea towels for the kitchen
- Janet (9/5): Superb -
- Kaitlin (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good. Room wasn't ready at 1500 like it should have been for check-in. The apartment was dirty even after the cleaning team left and the shower and many bathroom lights were broken. Overall wouldn't recommend for the price.
- Leonie (7/5): Good -
- Stan (1/5): Bad - Well, the only thing that I liked about the apartment was its location So where do I start as the apartment was not as advertised on your site and was not worth half of what we had to pay for it.
We were not shown around as if so, we would have picked up the leaking shower, which kept dripping all night.
Also, there was no hot water during the whole of our stay, and there was a lot of minor things too numerous to list here, but I have pictures as proof.
Now, this is the first time I have had to complain, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone
- Nicky (7/5): Great location, clean apartment, would stay again - The location was perfect for our show at the hippodrome. Apartment was clean and offered good amenities. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect location - The apartment is in the perfect location. Close to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, China town and tube stations. It is a beautiful apartment. The photo that is shown when you book is not the apartment you will be staying in. The first notification of our apartments address was when I rang the property manager at 6:50 the day we arrived and asked for the address. The shower does not drain the water properly so we sat in the bath and used the shower head to wash.
- Steph (5/5): Photos were deceiving. Not great value for money. - Location was good. WiFi was not connected. Apartment was shabby. Carpets were dirty. Fixtures were broken.
- Melissa (8/5): Great find overall - The location was exceptional! No elevator. (I have arthritis in my knees, so I found coming and going quite painful)
There wasn't enough cutlery for everyone. A few lights didn't work. Nothing major.
- Martina (7/5): Good -
- Nelly (7/5): Good -
- Kjell (8/5): Very good - We were father and daughter. I slept on the sofa. I think the appartment should have a spare set of linnen to make up the sofa. Only the sofa
- Anna (3/5): Very central but Internet not provided and felt unsafe - The flat was nicely equipped, warm and comfortable - Internet not provided (however stated) during the whole trip, for which they never took responsibility
- Location was super central but the whole building areas in under repair. This made the location very sketchy, with homeless people trying to get into the gate every evening. We were 2 women traveling and felt totally unsafe.
Overall, not worth the money.
- Ross (6/5): Pleasant - Clean, modern very central. The outside noise in the location was horrendous, there didn’t seem to be any sound proofing, you could hear conversations outside and it is a very popular drinking/eating and partying area, so I would say not suitable for families.
- Jane (7/5): Good - No wifi for the first 24 hours. Thankfully was sorted. Great location.
Steps to get into apartment would be a deterrent to older or less able bodied people.
- Iona (1/5): Avoid! Horrible stay! - Unfortunately the only positive to this apartment was the location, it’s close to the theatres but that’s it. Everything!
The pictures did not look anything like the apartment. I’ve never been somewhere so unclean, dirty marks on the bed, dirty sofa, sewage smell in the bathroom and more! (I have pictures to back this up)A member of staff even came early to ask us to leave and proceeded to wait outside on the landing for us to go, even though we still had 15 minutes to leave completely unfair. This completely ruined my trip. I’d avoid.
- Drulla (6/5): Good location - Location Was great, perfect middle of Soho Well the apartment didn't match any of the picture on booking. We got small apartment. And also it's a lot of stairs and no elevator. Luck for us we didn't have any big suitcase but we saw other people struggling with cases.
One of use stay into sofabed and the noise from the street was really loud. Maybe need more soundproofing there.
Other wise is was clean
- Stine (5/5): Passable - Great located. But we couldn’t shower water was boiling hot. They advertise for a flat, which where not existing. None of the pictures on booking.com was matching to the flat.
This was very disappointing and I think not legal.
- Vicki (9/5): Superb - Great location and quiet. Couldnt get the heating to work.
- Colin (8/5): Great city break - central location - location and space Noise outside early in the morning
- Valerie (8/5): Perfect location, clean and comfortable - Its location, it was clean and quiet and well maintained.
- Vanessa (6/5): Perfect location but for that price was expecting a bit better quality stay. - The location was just perfect. The person who came to open for us was really nice too. Very noisy, poor sound isolation and lots of police cars passing by the street.
Water pressure very low for hair washing, and wifi did not work out most of the time.
- Camilia (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (9/5): Just what we needed - Clean and in great area Stairs
- Romina (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was beautiful and spacious enough for 4 adults. The location is probably one of the best in the city (the store is next door, underground 2min of walk, bars around if you want to get a drink or eat something). Simply perfect
- Katarina (7/5): Good -
- Denise (6/5): A risky booking that turned out well - Great location for our 2 bed apartment between Tottenham Court Road and Holborn tube stations. I also liked the old building in which our apartment was located and the way it was restored. We stayed in a listed building. This particular company seem to have a hive of properties and don't know where you will be staying until 2 to 3 days before your stay. I tried to ask in advance of our trip as to where our flat was located and never got a reply. My husband also rang them and they promised to text when they were back at the office. Suffice to say, the weekend prior to our travel the following Tuesday, we were still without an address. At this point, I rang booking.com and they contacted the company for me and they said they would have the details to me in the next 24 hours. They did, and on the day of travel, we received communication from another whatsapp number and they were very helpful and left us check in two hours early. I personally will be much more careful in future in terms of what I book. I had paid for this in full two months in advance and it was not cheap. In future I will book a hotel or aparthotel in London with an obvious address at booking. I feel we got lucky that this worked out OK, but I would not reccomend based on the poor communication. Saying that, the flat was beautiful and we had a lovely trip! Book with your eyes open!
- Henna (1/5): Never again - Nothing it was horrid. The pictures were not what I was given
Bad service
Rude staff
- Olivia (10/5): Beautiful apartment, Great location .very clean. -
- Fayhim (1/5): Horrible and hazardous - Nothing Found two mices. Do not visit, they won’t offer refund.
Save yourself from disappointment
- Cindy (10/5): Very clean and modern and the location was perfect. - Comfortable and great location
- Irena (10/5): Great location of the apartment! - Very comfortable apartment with nice room decorations, on great location. We received the address of the apartment 2 days before our arrival. The communication with the hosts was excellent, they were very flexibile on our check-in.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great spot for a London break! - Perfect family apartment in a wonderful location. Staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with.
- Jose (9/5): Superb -
- Sianny (10/5): Spacious, clean, comfortable - Absolutely amazing place in a brilliant location, close to all the theatres..
- Lisa (1/5): horrible - Contacting the host was a pain. I was worried because the host didn‘t want to tell me the address. The German text of the advert didn‘t tell me that there are several flats at different locations and that neither the location at Leicester Square nor the photos necessarily represent the flat that you book. I cannot recommend the property.
- Ben (6/5): It was a fine base to explore central London…a bit worn out, but we made the best of it. - Location by Covent Garden was great, but was unknown until late in the process as the booking is for one of some number of places all within some broad area. Although we arrived exactly at our estimated arrival time of 3:00, nobody was there to let us in, nor at 3:30, or 4:00…a family, all our luggage on the street…started getting dark and raining…4:30, finally I was able to call from a nearby shop and they sent someone by 5:00…it was very nerve wracking worrying if we would be on the street all night. They apologized but we received no other consideration for their leaving us stranded for hours.
- Christine (9/5): Superb - The location was ideal for getting out and about. Just metres from the riverside and a short walk to many places.
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - Great contact with the company. Excellent location. Good value for money.
- Chaitanya (1/5): Bad - The property owners weren't at all cooperative. The WiFi didn't work. The linen wasn't clean. We were also charged £200 for a 30 minute late check out.
- Lee (4/5): We found a mouse running around which went under the kitchen units and my girls was scared also the beds had black long - It was close to every think It was nice space and tv was good had every think you need
- Shaila (9/5): Very enjoyable - Very nice place. Great location. Quiet street. But close to several sites, restaurants and pubs. Tube station is right around the corner as well. It was a second floor walk up and the stairs were a tad winding so if you have heavy luggage it will be cumbersome. We had 2 small bags so it wasn't a problem.
- Zuzanna (10/5): We had a great time! - Location It was on the 5th floor
- Jill (6/5): Nice place poor location - The space Bedroom backed up to Charing Cross Rail Station
- Karen (5/5): Passable -
- Wendy (7/5): Comfortable and offered more flexibility than hotel. - All the amenities you could ask for, clean. Entrance unattractive, some furniture a little tired and quite dull (couldn’t open velux blinds). Not in the advertised post code so fair walk to restaurants booked on that basis.
- Tsz (8/5): It’s a nice weekend stay - The apartment is nice and clean , spacious . Has all the restaurant and pubs near by. Mins walks away from Oxford street and less then 10 mins to the tube station. The person who suppose to hand over the key was an hr and half late as communicated before hand, reason was there was many check in . I would advise they allocate more staff on the day if they are having a busy day instead of promising the time for key collection and ended up waiting for an hr and half.
The apartment can do a bit better with the sound proof window as it’s located in a busy soho district , was very noisy toward the weekend .
- Monique (7/5): Can’t fault the communication with staff, location and cleanliness. Only downside it wasn’t as pictured and the apartmen - Location was excellent and facilities were clean. It definitely wasn’t as pictured, a lot more tired.
