Guest Reviews
- ROBERT (1/5): - I want this charge removed on my card as we were turned away because we had dogs pet friendly? No way we're thrown out!!! Remove the charges!! Will never use you again SUCKS
- stephanie (5/5): staff made the stay worth it - staff was great! bathroom light did not work. lighting in room very dull. floors not clean. bathroom floor behind door very dirty. debris and cereal on carpet very visible.needs a good deep cleaning.
- Tania Maria (6/5): -
- Mary (2/5): Uncomfortable, nasty wont be back. - Location only. Kids enjoyed the pool The room was shabby...that's okay but its dirty. Whole place needs to be deep cleaned. I saw more workers or staff outside rather than working. Literally from our 2nd room...first one was much dirtier than the second room we were moved to..but we actually watched a worker blow snot from his nose on to the ground outside our window...how freaking gross. No mattress pad on beds. No one even offered to clean our room on the second day. We had to ask for sheets, trash bags, baby bed, new key cards. Water fountain doesn't work. I have pictures of the dirt. I will not ever stay here again and unfortunately ive stayed at other motels in town they are not much better. Will book in Joplin from now on. Please dont thank me for staying...it was a bad decision wont make that mistake again.
- Natasha (2/5): Dirty, seriously needing updating and a deep clean the free breakfast was junk like really REALLY bad! The pool is NOT h - The staff was for the most part was friendly the GM lived on property and was creepy. It’s affordability and location.
- Glenn (6/5): If not for the location and the kindness of Toby and Ty, I would rate this a 2/5 - Kind, courteous staff Carpet in room was filthy, coffee maker missing parts, only one coffee packet for two guests, one washcloth was horribly stained, no alarm clock in room.
- Aaron (5/5): Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. - Price. Staff was very friendly. The smell was overwhelming the minute you walk in the door and it's throughout the whole building, including the room. The room was not cleaned very well. I moved the chair at the desk and it had crumbs all under it, so it had not been vacuumed. The towels in the bathroom had been thrown on the shelf, not even placed neatly. The comforter on the bed had stains on it. The appearance in the pictures looked nice, but the reality wasn't like the pictures.
- Blu1978 (7/5): - The bed No refund if check out early
- Scotty (1/5): Spend your money elsewhere - Breakfast The General Manager displayed behavior that I found to be extremely unprofessional. He became upset with me and contacted law enforcement because I was inquiring about a front desk position and had asked one of his staff about the status of my application. Instead of addressing the situation or discussing what had transpired, he confronted me and threatened to remove me from the premises. His demeanor became hostile and he treated me poorly without justification.
- Taylor (2/5): - It was very dirty. Didn’t even feel comfortable walking barefoot in there. Carpets were filthy. Room smelled terrible. Shower was disgusting. Cheap price but definitely get what you pay for.
- Madiso (1/5): Horrible and unpleasant - My hotel room didn't have anything other then a bed in it, no hair dryer coffee maker phone or shampoo and conditioner it was empty. Not even a Bible in the room. The window was leaking everywhere because of the rain. The room was freezing cold and the was a small space heater in the room nothing else. Breakfast was nothing like the pictures they didn't have any waffles ect. The room was not very clean, there were stains on the bed. I was told I would get 25% off my stay and never receive my refund. I am extremely upset with the stay and disappointed in the staff for not following through with my discount. I was happy with 25% off not a big deal I survive, but now im just flat out mad.
- Wanda (5/5): - Location No hot water in our room
- Wanda (7/5): - Location Nothing
- Margaret (6/5): Staff was nice but her manager had her scrambling to find us a room that was actually ready, after three different rooms - Location, breakfast, staff Rooms were not being cleaned regularly
- Loyd (10/5): -
- Beth (1/5): ended up only staying a couple of hours couldn't get comfortable too cold - The young lady who checked us in was very friendly the heated pool was freezing the room was freezing had to go ask for coffee for coffee maker and a remote for the tv then went to make coffee had a used coffee pkg in the coffee maker the remote had no batteries got the batteries and it still didn't work kept trying to get the thermostat to warm up but never got it to over 66 degrees the kids were so cold we ended up leaving and moving across town to a warm motel with a heated pool and a hot tub
- Joseph (2/5): -
- Manly (1/5): -
- shannon (8/5): - I jist treated like home for a week All furniture and carpet are extremely ran down.
- Vondell (7/5): -
- Pam (1/5): Manager didn't bother to call me back - The location to our venue Black mold all over the ceiling and down the wall in the bathroom. Then the next room they gave me, an inch of dust on the bed, bed bugs on my pillow, no hot water and room smelled like weed!
- Edith (5/5): -
- Vondell (7/5): -
- Karen (6/5): - Bed was very comfortable, the lobby was pretty and clean. Good breakfast. We were missing several pillowcases on pillows, cups and soap. The place is getting old and has repair needs.
- Ronald (7/5): -
- Rosalva (1/5): I was declined staying and still paid. Ask for a refund and still haven’t received it - I was declined staying and still paid. Ask for a refund and still haven’t received it I was declined staying and still paid. Ask for a refund and still haven’t received it
- Harbaugh (1/5): -
- Hall (5/5): -
- Vanessa (4/5): Stuff was dirty and I got a total different room that what was in the pictures. - The pool How dirty the rooms are
- James (4/5): Dirty old and carpet was torn - Old outdated Na
- Chasity (1/5): - The staff was friendly. The pool was very dirty and there were tarps over the roof.
- Paula (4/5): probably will not be back - we use to stay here alot, this place is run down and needs updated badly. this used to be a favorite spot for us. a beautiful hotel in its time. it could be again if someone could put time ,money and effort into it.
- Flores (7/5): -
- alex (8/5): i would stay here again - pancakes and eggs were decent
- Timothy (1/5): - Heated pool Not being able to check in bc we are so called local
- Joy (7/5): It was good - Location
- Administrator (5/5): -
- Carl (9/5): -
- Frank (1/5): Wouldn’t stay again - They didn’t have a king bed we reserved. Then the room we got smelled like smoke. We saw 3 roaches. The pool was closed. Breakfast is cereals and breads. No waffles. The juice machine was broke.
- William (8/5): We will stay again - Very clean very easy to get to.
- Aron (2/5): -
- Ozella (10/5): - Very nice.
- Jenny (1/5): I ended up to cancel the booking because the manager was so rude - The manager was so rude
- Sherry (3/5): Very disappointing - Had to wait at the front desk for over 5 minutes as the representative was setting on the back office on his cell phone I called the number that was provided for help and I kept getting hung up on two times try to get a few minutes later but hung up on again and then I had to yell excuse me can I please get help and then seem to be annoyed whenever they had to help me. No air conditioner and any of the facility besides the rooms had to ask for toilet paper in your room my lights in my room the bathroom did not work had to request for light bulbs and then my air conditioner did not work in my room and had to be switched rooms after already inside the room. Came out for breakfast and there was no breakfast there and the facility that was provided there was two bagels and it was only 8:00 a.m. whenever I went in to have breakfast the very frustrated unclean carpet coming off of it the pool was noted that it was closed but then told oh it's open had heroin it dirty will never stay there again
- Aaron (1/5): Didn't stay cancelled my reservation because no hot water wouldn't stay there again - When I showed up to check in there's a sign on the desk that said no hot water I'm not going to stay at a hotel that doesn't have hot water so I can't take a shower can't use the jacuzzi tub that's ridiculous. We've been nice to have known that before I made reservations there they had said nothing about it.
- Jason (2/5): This place stinks. - We were offered a complimentary drink from their cooler. Nice drinks. The hotel is dirty, It stinks.
The room stinks. The bedding stinks.
The pictures online look nice, and the hotel could be nice, but it is filthy.
- Charles (1/5): Very disappointed, the owner was aware of the issues but never expressed a concern. - The location off the interstate There was no hot water,no internet or television.
- david (1/5): -
- Martin (6/5): -
- Renda (6/5): Breakfast was very limited only had cold cereal - Location Needs updated and cleaned
- Arthur (3/5): Overall gross hotel. Would not come back. - The location is good- next to the highway. Hotel smells of mildew, building looks in general disrepair. Bathroom had mildew and soap scum everywhere as well as calcium build up on showerhead and faucets. Carpet was damaged, Lampshades damaged. Extremely dusty air vents. Room looked like it hadn't been cleaned.
We debated whether or not to stay, we stayed but left as soon as the sun came up. Didn't shower. Slept on top of covers.
- David (7/5): -
- David (4/5): it was a place out of the weather but where is the personal pride and integrity by the owners etc. - beds looked to be clean and free of bugs and the room wasn't freezing or very hot as soon as I walked in I stepped into the restroom saw 2 cockroaches running for cover when I told the desk about it the seemed to be not too concerned about it , the TV signal was extremely poor no guide just had to figure it out , breakfast was a joke orange juice was manly water no milk for cereal a few eggs but nothing to eat it with mite have had coffee but i'm not a coffee drinker and all the had was one tuff donut my son warmed up and it was a dunking donut no sugar of any kind than the microwave over heated his donut in one spot burnt in one spot left it cold on the other side the desk never offered to give us a little money back not really sorry for anything
- Roberts (5/5): - It’s been over 48 hours and I still haven’t gotten my money back for the whatever the hell your $50 fee is for.
- Amanda nunes (10/5): - Hotel confortável e seguro Não curti muito o café da manhã
- Rick E B (7/5): Pretty decent but no checkout. - Great value. I adjusted expectations based on rate and was therefor very pleased with this stay. Only one staff person available in the morning and she was taking care of breakfast. No one at desk for check out. When I have to put down a deposit, I damn well want someone at the front desk to check me out.
- Kelli (1/5): Horrible!!!! - Nothing The rooms were filthy. Beds were dirty sheets and comforters. Asked for a new room and those beds were just as bad and the toilet would not flush in the bathroom. Asked for a refund did not stay there. Was told they were having issues with their house keeping and they would refund it would take a day or so. STILL no refund and have called 3x with no one from the establishment willing to return a call.
- Daniel (1/5): Trash - Hidden fees made the stay impossible . An extra 150 in fees on top of the room price . While under construction . Up front pricing
- Asiel (5/5): -
- McDonald (3/5): - Room was ok. It was clean. Nice location. Very quiet. Pool was out of order. Pretty sure the front desk guy didn't know what he was doing checking me in through my reservation, tried putting me in a double queen instead of the King I had reserved. Didn't see that I had to pay for the room when I arrived, even though I showed reservation confirmation and number. Hallway smelled musty and dewey. And the "continental breakfast" consisted of lukewarm coffee, cereal, bagels, and muffins.
- Holley (2/5): Trap houses have better sheets - Location was easy to get to and parking for our f250hd truck with 22ft trailer..easy to maneuver. Very well lit parking and decent access to go out back to the back parking area. The entrance door for handicapped didn't work inside or out. Upon trying to use the luggage rack this was discovered.
The entry was very nice and looked better maintained than what we had walked into for our room.
The spa/fitness room was closed..out of order. Had just moved several cars and was hoping it would have been accessible hot tub..which there wasn't. Not a deal breaker but was advertised as there was one. There wasn't one on the lot.
We reserved a king room.. got a double queen instead..was not offered or asked if it was ok to trade.
Get to the room to find it was a double queen. Started to get our belongings in order...to pull back sheets on one bed that had very obvious signs sheets maybe weren't changed or something and on inside out. There were oily marks of mineral as well as motor type grease on the freshly pulled back duvet cover.
The pillow cases had been either not washed or had been slept on...the person before was very sweaty.
The 2nd bed was worse with hair still on it from previous guest and same stains and a cigarette hole in the duvet cover. I didn't even pull back that one to see the sheets.
Checked corners of mattresses to check for bed bugs...no signs thank gawd.
They offered breakfast. We declined because if the rooms look like that..we didn't want food poisoning too.
We put our on blanket out of our truck over the matress and slept with that instead..thank goodness it was a warm evening/night.
The shower...well the water wouldn't cool down..scalding hot the whole time...even gave it 10 mins to try to level. Decided to just use a yellow stained wash cloth and take a sink wipe down.
Not impressed at all. Left a review for Google too.
- Dees (10/5): Wonderful. This family hotel should be a 5 star hotel. Please recognize the importance of Safety and Great Breakfast - Great location wonderful employees . Helpful, kind , extremely clean. Fluffy pillows and a wake up call. Every person working at the Precious had a Great smile. This hotel stay was in the top three during my last 50 years. And I am a widow so I can not afford a $400 a night hotel room. This stay equals the one paid for by my brother on a family trip. Nothing. I am scared to stay some places by myself. In Maryland I was scared to go to the door of a hotel. I called the local police department and the dispatcher said “Oh No! Drive away slowly wrong part of town for a good woman. She guided me to a Choice Hotel
- BridgeteW (10/5): -
- Laughlin (10/5): - The bed, heater worked great, and staff was excellent Not thing
- WILLIAM (1/5): - They ripped me off they drained my credit card down to 60cents and I never got any money back from them so I would never tell anyone to stay there the two nights stay cost me over 300 dollars at least
- Nakota (1/5): - Nothing at all. They stole my money after refusing me a room because they all of a sudden required a deposit. The fact that they completed a payment and I didn't even stay at the hotel.
- Schulz (4/5): Won’t be doing it again anytime soon - Pool open til midnight Breakfast, room wasn’t very clean, mirror in bathroom was gross. I’m a housekeeper and my boss wouldn’t let me leave with a room looking like that
- Heather (10/5): -
- Dora (10/5): -
- Mary (8/5): -
- JHlic (1/5): - The location The experience was very bad. The room wasn't ready when I arrived. There were cockroaches everywhere. That hotel is infested with cockroaches. The carpet was very dirty. The smell in that room was unbearable. The place where one has breakfast is very dirty.
- gordon (10/5): -
- John (4/5): -
- Guy (8/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - The hotel is ok. They are doing some work to it. My room was dark and hard to see in even during daylight hours. The bed was clean and comfortable but there were particles of ??? in the shower, on the bathroom floor and a lot of crumbs in the night stand drawer.
- Sparks (8/5): - Staff was friendly. Good hours for pool, didn't try breakfast. Bed could have been firmer, toilet higher, was almost on the floor, one small bar of soap.
- Sarah (10/5): - Room was comfy and clean. Pool and patio area were wonderful with hours being opened until midnight. Breakfast was good. Staff were constantly replacing items. Yes, the juice machine was broken however they did have fresh orange juice available.
- lasiter (1/5): Precious motel my ass - Nothing I got locked out of my room had to walk back to the desk five times just to be told to move to another room that was being remodeled then we had to move to another room all the way across the motel the breakfast was junk I really wish I could get a refund they even downgraded me from a king size room to a queen all in all worst stay at a motel I've ever had
- Huberts (9/5): -
- Chris (7/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): The staff is friendly they were the coolest staff I’ve experienced at a hotel the indoor pool was awesome after a long d - The location was good close to restaurants
- Dawn (6/5): - Hopefully this isn’t common, but I asked for clean bedsheets, as they were hairy. Also, someone tried to open my door in the middle of the night. I had the dead bolt locked, so they didn’t get in.
- Jonathan (2/5): - Staff inside was rude and I did not get the room, after making room booking, they said rooms were all over booked, no alternative was offered or refund
- Karen (4/5): - Front desk lady started asking my name halfway through the lobby; she couldn't even wait for me to get to the front desk. She did however, hold the door for us as we were bringing in our luggage. Breakfast had a waffle machine but no waffle batter, no juice as the machine was out of order, no yogurt, no fruit, no ketchup, and very weak coffee. It did have sausage and egg and lots of carbs. The air conditioner ran all night but wasn't pumping out cold air and we couldn't control it with any switches. Our shoes were sticking to the floors in the breakfast room as well as in our motel room. Beds were fine. Room had microwave and fridge. Would not stay here again.
- Drew (7/5): In the process of being switched over to quality Inn, we stayed there for one night was very uncomfortable. Staff was ve -
- Tommy (8/5): - Can,comfortable, quiet Nothing
- M4SONGR4YCOX (10/5): -
- Darcie (3/5): Dirty and never staying there again. - Easy to get to Rooms were dirty with visible dirt in bed and hair on pillows. Hair in shower and sick and floor in bathroom. Hotel refused to provide king size bed even though that’s what reservation was for and they said that is only a preference choice and not guaranteed.
- bradley (10/5): - Excellent
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cleanliness is terrible - Service was ok! Cleanliness absolutely TERRIBLE. First room I was put in the toliet was dirty and had pubes on the seat. Asked to be switched rooms and it wasnt much better. The last night i was there i killed a roach in the bathroom!
- Darrell (4/5): Ok needs a lot of work would not recommend. - Not kept up Didn’t
- Meagan (10/5): -
- Jennifer (5/5): -
- chad (7/5): -
- Patricia (1/5): Worst ever - The price for one night The staff had on booty shorts, didn’t have a room ready for us cussed a lot . They told us it was a first come first serve on king beds. A lot of their room doors didn’t work. We have to wait an hour to finally get a room. They didn’t know which rooms were taken or available. Just a big mess! Never going back
- Marian (6/5): - Pool indoors
- Lisa (6/5): Precious Hotel Aug. 2025 - It had been probably 20 years since I was here last,it is pretty rundown. Many things had out of order signs. The beds had a flat sheet and very light bedspread. I asked for a couple blankets, they gave me one. Couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast was ok. Overall a nice hotel. Just getting older.
- H (1/5): DON'T DO IT!!! Disgusting and pics do NOT depict the actual state of this hotel. - The chandelier and that was all. I walked in and first used the guest bathroom before check in and noticed a lot. It should've been my first sign to not check in. The faucet literally moved when I tried to wash my hands but I figured hey maybe it's a quick fix and would be better later. Nope! It just got worse. I went to the desk to check in and no one was in uniform or nice attire at all. Ripped shorts and baggy shirts along with stained jeans and all. Noticing all of these things I asked to see the room first. The FIRST room had horrible lighting so I had to use the flashlight on my phone. Dried urine stains on the bed sheets and black residue on the comforter. When I approached the front desk to say we need to try again, the second room only got worse. As soon as we opened the door it was extremely hot and smelled of urine as soon as you entered the doorway. I went to the front desk and let them know we would not be staying and gave them back their key. I was not about to try a 3rd room. There were trip hazards down the hallway with the loose carpet rolls while you tried to manage walking over it without tripping and trying to roll your luggage across it. It was absolutely terrible. I did not receive a refund either. The lady at the desk apologized and said she's not supposed to do a refund but would. She never did.

- Melinda (9/5): - The staff was nice and helpful There was a lot of trash near the back door
