- Melanie (8/5): The property has a spectacular view over the Bay of Salerno, it is in a quiet area above Amalfi Town - The view. While the property is a 15-20 minute bus ride up the hillside from Amalfi town, this meant that the view from the balcony over the Bay of Salerno was fantastic , both during the day time and in the evening when the lights were on in the town, The beds are comfortable and the sitting area is fairly roomy. Plenty of towels. Washing machine good. Air-conditioning in the lounge good. I understand that Domenico and Luisa have only fairly recently acquired this property? Some of the facilities do need refreshing. Neither the back windows onto the terrace or the back door could be locked properly, locks were broken, the door didn't fit the frame properly. The shower fittings/taps are worn. Some plug sockets were lose, hanging off the wall. You couldn't plug the kettle in properly. The terrace furniture looks rather worn out, So some relatively small things that could be improved. The shape of the bathroom is a little awkward.
