Guest Reviews
- Carla (8/5): Relaxing - Beautiful location , clean and good facilities, comfy, nice hanging basket and flower pots in the back garden, nice and quiet Hole in the bathroom wall, no tv in one of the bedrooms
- Linda (10/5): - Brilliant location and the facilities were perfect
- Roberto (9/5): - Clean, well equipped and perfectly located to explore the local area Beds are far too soft and could do with new mattress
- Patrick (10/5): Great Cotswolds cottage - Great cottage in a lovely village Not applicable
- Geoffrey (9/5): I will not hesitate to book this cottage again, hopefully for longer next time. - The cottage was lovely, it was clean and welcoming.
The location was incredibly peaceful, scenic and yet only a very short drive away from other villages and towns.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be booking this property again in the near future. There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about this property.
- Sarah (7/5): -
- lindsay (9/5): - Excellent location. 5mins drive to Bourton on the water and 5mins drive in the other direction to stow on the wold. Lovely, clean and quiet cottage. Nice having breakfast in the courtyard. The courtyard could have benefited from a few flower pots to brighten the area up.
The toilet seat was loose and bathroom sink drained slowly, but loved the cottage!
- Robin (6/5): - Very remote but we knew that
- Dilshan (8/5): -
- Jeremy (9/5): Superb -
- Matt (8/5): Great place to stay would recommend to anyone who wants to have a base to visit the Cotswolds - Pretty cottage in a great location down a quiet lane away from all noise but only 10 min drive to Stow. The double bed was far too soft for us.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): We so enjoyed our stay that we are going to book again - Lovely position
Near to everything
- Anneliese (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Beautiful peaceful location. Quaint. Beds not the most comfortable
- Stephen (7/5): Fabulous location, very pretty cottage - The property is in a fabulous location and it is a very typical Cotswold Cottage built from honey sandstone. Very pretty. The house was set back from the road and the traffic was almost nonexistent which made for it being very quiet and lovely for a walk down the road.
Facilities were ok/good but the bathroom was in need of updating. Also, there were no wardrobes and very limited ability to hang any clothes up.
The property was nice and warm.
- Bruce (8/5): Wonderful chill out weekend at Clover Cottage. - Great location near the main Cotswolds hot spots.
Quiet village, free parking.
Tranquil garden to relax in. There were no wardrobes in any of the 3 bedrooms. Plenty of door hooks though so not the end of the world.
- Nicholas (10/5): Fantastic relaxing family time. - The property is beautiful with a well equipped modern kitchen lovely comfortable beds and sofas. The children were very happy with the tv selection as they have prime tv. The location is excellent a very pretty little village close to the attractions of the Cotswolds. We would definitely book again. Nothing couldn’t fault it.
- Wojciech (10/5): Lovely, cost cottage. Would recommend! - Very clean, modern inside. Great location if you want to explore Cotswold. Small problem with the lock but sorted fairly quick.
- Zahid (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was magical in an incredible location very Serene and quite neighbourhood.
Everything was exceptional and up to the mark.
Best place to relax and very close to all the villages.
Just the best experience of my life will be coming again.
Only thing needed to be improved is the mattress of the main bedroom it gave me a bad backache..
Otherwise exceptional. The mattress in the main bedroom needed to be changed
- Celeste (10/5): Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful location 😍 -
- Iain (10/5): Very relaxing and quiet. Beautiful cottage and very home from home. - Beautiful location & well equipped.
- Deborah (10/5): Great stay - The location was great, everything is like 5 to 10 minutes drive. Great communication before the stay starts from the landlords to explain everything you need to know to get there, grab the keys and what you need to do before leaving. There is no public lights at all outside (nothin the landlords can do about unfortunately) but it is definitely recommended you get there before dark because we had trouble finding the place on the 1st day.
- Frank (8/5): Good location for exploring the Cotswalds. - a neat clean cottage, quiet and secluded. All the sights in the Cotswalds are within easy reach. The garden furniture is limited and not very comfortable.
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Trevor (9/5): Had a great time. Would definitely stay again. - Cottage exactly as described. Didn't lack any essentials. Clean and tidy. Very quiet location. Can't be faulted. Not a case of didn't like, just a couple of simple points for note. Fridge door missing screws to top hinge - looks like it may fall off at some point. Boiler cover in kitchen not connected properly, held together with a screw. Grass and hedges need cutting out the front in particular the hedge which attacks / scratches your arms when walking down path to key lock, (more so at night without any lights)
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Location was central to everything, but quiet and peaceful. Nothing!
- Christine (10/5): Wonderful start to our tour of the Cotswolds. Slept very well, very quiet & lovely countryside. - Was clean, comfortable & cosy. Had everything we needed, except maybe a hairdryer. All good.
- Suzanne (9/5): Perfect location in the prettiest of places - Location is perfect to see so many places. Gardens were so pretty with the blossom out Single duvets were so cold, summer isn't quite here yet. Fortunately we took blankets (with the hope of sitting outside) Additional blankets/throws in the rooms would be nice
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Beau.tiful cottage in a lovely hamlet, very close to Bourton on the Water. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, and very clean.
- Pak (8/5): Excellent location, very clean and comfy. Very clear and easy instructions to get to the property. - Located in the middle of Cotwold, short drive to most places. House was very clean with all faciltiies in good conditions. House was setup to welcome guests with fireplace light on and music. A phone call a week before to confirm all would have made this perfect.
- Patricia (10/5): Wonderful we loved it!!!! - No breakfast
Location was superb because it was near our favorite city!!! If it had cable television!!!
- Alan (9/5): Excellent stay, would book again. -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Great location! Well equipped kitchen and nearby to towns and cities. For the price we felt the garden could be better maintained. It would be nice to have a cleaner patio area and patio set.
The check in time 4.30pm is much later compared with other stays we have had and check out at 9.30am is exceptionally early.
- Dennis (8/5): A very charming little cottage with a large garden! - We had a lovely stay in this charming little cottage with the large garden. That was a big plus for our son who loves playing in the backyard. And for having a BBQ (available). The sourroundings were beautiful and the neighbours were very friendly. nothing

- Tonygurrea (10/5): Exceptional - The location is fantastic for the surrounding Stow & Bourton on Water areas. Just a few mins drive away. The area is so quiet and unspoilt. The house is finished to a high standard and was the perfect base for us with our toddler. We loved the traditional yet modern feel. Nothing!
