The apartment is in an excellent location, with easy access to everything you need. Everything was great!

• Tennant (9/5): Wonderful, in the perfect location, friendly. - The location was excellent. 2 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the shops. The pool was brilliant. Apartment was huge - much bigger than I thought. Margie was so lovely. We will definitely stay again. The only thing was that the bedrooms had fans, not air conditioning. A/C was only in the main living area. But that's just us being picky. Overall it was absolutely excellent.

• Samantha (6/5): Room needs some maintenance & TLC - Location was excellent. Grounds were kept very tidy. Very quiet considering all the construction going on around the property. Management was welcoming. Very outdated. The lights in the bedrooms didn’t work. The screen door locks are broken, blinds falling off. The blanket in the main room was dirty. And beds are very uncomfortable. I’d of expected these standard requirements to be met and some effort with interior.

• Melissa (6/5): it was okay - Location, caretakers kept things clean in common areas, and friendly. No noise from main road. Great instructions upon check in. Cutlery and some kitchen items dirty, had to soak forks in boiling water to remove other guests’ food. No shower gel, just tiny soap for both handwashing and shower. Lint filter packed with lint in dryer. Loud party that started at 1pm and continued until 7:30pm ruing the quiet relaxation was hoping for. Air con needs a very good clean, bathroom vent in ensuite also.

We especially enjoyed a day at the beach using the cabana, beach chairs, and trolley, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. The location was wonderful we will definitely return.

The host is very friendly and happy to point out on a map some nice restaurants and wine bars that are close walking distance to the apartments. Lovely swimming pool that was kept at just the right water temperature. Nothing not like really.

• Kiley (8/5): 5 stars - except the construction noise is a very, very big problem - The apartment was really spacious – very, very happy with the size of apartment and the newly renovated kitchen and bathroom was nice. The 2 bedroom apartment had 2 bathrooms – one full size with a full bath, shower & toilet and the other an ensuite with shower and toilet. Washing machine and dryer were in the main bathroom. Full size kitchen with proper kitchen facilities – along with a full size dining table and leather couches. Air conditioning only in the open plan loungeroom/kitchen, but worked well. Parking was secure and easy. Walking distance to beach and all the shops. They do rent cool cabanas for $20 a day which was a nice touch. Pool was nice – great temperature and deep in spots. It is an older complex – but that also means that the apartments are a bit bigger and that is actually what we loved about it. HOWEVER - BEWARE………..You can’t review this property without mentioning the noise. It was unbearable. I read reviews about the noise before I arrived and thought "it can't be that bad" - well it was that bad - actually it was worse than I could have imagined. It is temporary, but right now (Sept/Oct 25) – it is so loud. We stayed in room 19 and it backed onto the construction site. At the time of staying, the construction was at level 2 (level with room 19) and a full barrage of workers arrived at 6:45am each day and turned on the music and started grinding steel. I swear I could have gone out on the back balcony and reached out and physically touched them – (see video attached) that is how close the construction is. And it will continue until the multi story tower gets built. But, there is also light rail works going on outside the hotel at the same time – when we stayed they were 24/7 works – so all night we had the roadworks and then from 6:45am we had construction. There is no way that anyone in that hotel was still asleep past 7am - it was totally and utterly unbearable. The property managers tried to put a good spin on it by saying they don’t notice it as they are up when the sun rises each day and laughed it off – but they are just doing their job and trying to downplay it. It was really bad. I have to say I have never experienced anything as bad as that noise and don’t feel right not mentioning it and posting a video of how bad it really is. But, I am conflicted, as despite the noise (it did just mean that we became early morning people for the week) I did love this place. And during the day and night the noise didn't impact us - just the early mornings. The location was great, the complex was nice – the pool was nice, parking was secure, the building managers were lovely.

Whilst we were well informed and it was totally clear on all communications- the no lift with being on the 3rd level was hard with a heavy suitcase. It’s very basic and a bit dated. Staff are lovely and super helpful.

So close to the beach and coffee shops, James street etc. The people I was in contact won’t prior to arriving were so nice, friendly and helpful. Anyone we met whilst there was the same giving advice about farmers market etc. I assume they’re the owners but just so lovely!

Unfortunately at the moment the light rail is being constructed from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads which makes access difficult and it is a little noisy with construction being undertaken 24/7. This is off course not the unit managers fault but just a fact at the moment. Hopefully in a few months it will be finished. The unit could benefit from a renovation though as it is looking very tired.

We didnt end up using the pool only as it wasnt hot enough this time of year and the construction in the day was okay but the road works at night for two of the 7 nights was pretty disappointing, but couldnt be helped. Didnt expect the road works at night.

The location is unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach, local cafes, shops, and all the best that Burleigh has to offer. It was the perfect base for our getaway, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, were the amazing hosts, Margie and Wayne. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and hospitality made all the difference. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Margie and Wayne, for such a wonderful stay!
