• Jeff (8/5): Adequate. Business traveler from USA. Stayed here 5 weeks or parts of weeks between 2024 and 2026. - In the midst of a renovation (at least painting) as of Jan 2026. Better breakfast than most hotels in Coimbatore. Useful work desk. Comfortable beds. Some rooms are quite large and nice, though others are quite small. Appreciated the variety and reasonable prices in the minibar. Multiple good convenient restaurant choices. The gym treadmill barely worked in 2024 and 2025. When I returned in 2026, the gym was closed entirely. Nearby streets are not usable for outdoor running, so this was a problem for me. The most annoying thing about the property is that the room doors beep when not closed completely. They don't close on their own, so you will hear beeping all day and into the night from neighbors' rooms. Wifi is very spotty. A couple of rooms have a very nice indoor balcony, but annoyingly the hotel allows smoking there which ruins things if you're using the other one. Rooms could use a couch to stretch out on instead of chairs. They appear to be in the midst of a renovation. If they fix the door beeping thing, upgraded the gym, and improve the wifi throughout then I'd be quite happy with the hotel.

They made us wait for a long tim, but we left the place as the staffs were not able to make it through. It was the worst experience I had ever.

They informed that after Check In, they cannot update my GST details in system. Though I have mentioned it while booking through Booking.com, they ignored out saying i have to ask. How i know their procedure. Its their responsibility to ask as i have mentioned. Pathetic admin behavior stating Bill cant be canceled and cannot do anything. I have to take the loss. Won't recommend this Hotel because of Admin Behaviour.

• Adarsh (1/5): They cancelled our booking without informing us and denied check-in - Without proper intimation they cancelled our booking and when we reached there they told they are overbooked. They did not provide the reason for cancellation. They informed us cancellation is from Booking.com site but when we contacted customer care, our booking was still active from booking.com. The receptionist did not respond properly when she received call from Booking.com customer service executive. They denied check in without an appropriate reason. After arguing for sometimes they agreed to move us to another hotel but that hotel was outside city (20km from city center) and there were no transportation from Holiday residency. They just wanted us out from their premises since some other guests were coming. We took a cab from railway station to Holiday Residency and later paid extra amount for cab again from here to another hotel (we ended up paying around 2k just for cabs since the other hotel was outside city). While booking, Holiday Residency confirmed our booking only after having credit card information in case of cancellation from customer side. But in our case they cancelled the booking from their end. So what is the penalty for that? When they can secure the booking by credit card they should also be liable in case of cancellation/denial of check in from their end.

Starting from check - in , unable to process card payments, to dirty towels, unhygienic sink with running yellow water, if you ask for toilet paper they give you paper towels. • Sattanathan (2/5): Eminently avoidable property. - Cleanliness, attitude of the Restaurant staff. 1. They charged two days rent for 22 hours stay. I was told if I had booked directly, I would have been eligible for 24 hrs tariff. Just because I booked through Booking.com, I was charged for 2 nights for a duration of 1100 pm to 0900 pm. 2. There was a huge column inside my room (#314) blocking free movement. Obviously this is because they have constructed more than approved layout. 3. Reception staff were very rigid and invoke policy guidelines for even silly matters. We were given 1/2 litre bottle of water per day per person and rest was charged. 4. The location of this hotel is too far away from the city.

• Even (10/5): Perfect hotel in Coimbatore, amazing people - The room and bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really good with all kinds of variety. What was best about this hotel was their people. Their staff is amazingly cheerful, nice, kind, genuine and helpful in any ways that you can think of. Definitely cheered me up every morning walking past the reception when seeing their smiles and chatting with them. Will miss them a lot and am really grateful to this hotel for giving me memories and friends to keep even after visiting.
