• Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional - In a nice peaceful residential area not far from the railway station, which is handy for those travelling by train. Lovely comfy bed and spacious shower, easy to operate. Just up from the station in Vyne Road, a small park and larger church grounds, which my little dog loved to run around. Chris was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Cromwell Suite when visiting Basingstoke. The wash basin proved a little tricky filling the kettle, however able to fill with a couple of glasses of water so not a problem.

• Annarita (10/5): We will book again! - Sharon and Chris are perfect hosts; they warmly welcomed us. The room is more spacious than the pictures, nicely decorated, and has everything for a short stay. Also, our dogs love the space and the fact that there are pleasant walks.

REALLY warm welcome and good to be back
• Lynn (9/5): Overnight stop - Good communication, friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable room with fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery, it was so easy to pick up a ready meal at a nearby supermarket on the way, and relax instead of having to try to find somewhere to eat. The bed was so comfy, I had a great sleep, it was dark and quiet. It was nice to have parking sorted as well. I was breaking my journey between two stressful situations and it was a perfect place to stop and chill overnight. Not exactly a "didn't like", but I personally found the bed a bit low, and the shower door a bit narrow, but that's really down to my own physical limitations - I'm a fatty with dodgy knees- just mentioning in case it matters to anyone else.

• Alice (8/5): Super central location - Really comfy bed, great off road parking and central location. Super quality linen, light and airy rooms. TV didn't stay tuned in but minor irritation only
• Nina (9/5): Clean, comfortable and handy for the town centre - The accommodation was with 10-15 minute walk of the train station and the main town centre. There was free on-site parking available. The hosts were very responsive to messages. The room was comfortable and warm, with fresh clean towels available.
• Anna (9/5): Recommended. - Friendly hosts. Comfy, looked nice. Easy parking. Good refreshments. It was lovely. The hosts are thinking about getting a fridge which would be good.
• Mathew (9/5): Superb - Quiet spot and separate from the main property. Clean well presented room with all the needed facilities, the room is well-equipped. Comfortable bed and big fluffy towels! Parking on the drive so car was safe overnight. Friendly hosts.
