• Caroline (7/5): Un séjour agréable dans un hébergement très bien placé mais mobilier vieillot et cabine de douche très exiguë… déçue par - C’est très bien placé et très calme (en tous cas notre chambre étant tout au bout du couloir et ne donnant pas sur la rue) Le personnel est très aimable. Le mobilier est vieillot, la douche dans la salle de bain, minuscule.

Distributore acqua nel corridoio, libera e con bicchieri monouso. Materasso comodo e struttura silenziosa. Un restyling alle camere sicuramente le renderebbe più accoglienti, oltre ad un'illuminazione migliore (la nostra, con affaccio nella parte interna, era parecchio buia e l'illuminazione elettrica molto scarsa). Aggiungerei poi un asciugamano ospite, più gestibile per chi non vuole infilarsi in doccia

• Pablo Burgos G. (3/5): - La ubicación Todo lo demas, no me gusto. Las fotos estaban muy editadas asi que no era lo que esperaba. El baño estaba sucio y el calienta toallas no funcionaba. La ducha se caia mientras te duchabas y no habia ni una repisa para poner el shampoo. El "espacio comun" de la pieza incluia un sillon en medio de la pieza, donde preferí no sentarme. Todas las "areas comunes" que mas que nada eran un pasillo glorificado por fotos y muebles no daba ni para esperar con las maletas. Sobre todo, la falta de limpieza de todo el complejo y la fotografia forzada me dejo insatisfecho, seguro de haber cometido un error al elegirlo.

• AYOUNG (8/5): 짧게 머무른다면 가성비 좋은 숙소 - 산타마리아노벨라 역까지 10분 내로 이동 가능하고 주요 관광지와 가까운 점이 최대 장점입니다. 체크인 전 후로 짐을 맡아주고 직원들이 친절해요. 예전 리뷰에는 할아버지께서 맞아주신다는 이야기들이 있었지만 이제는 젊은 직원들이 돌아가며 리셉션에 있는 것 같습니다. 공용주방은 리셉션이 열려 있는 동안(오후 7시까지) 이용 가능합니다. 따뜻한 물이 잘 나오며 수압도 괜찮습니다. 건물과 내부가 상당히 낡았습니다. 바닥이 타일이었는데 일부는 밟으면 타일이 움직여 틈에 끼지 않게 조심했습니다. 불을 다 켜도 어두운 편이며, 엘리베이터가 낡고 삐그덕거리며 천천히 움직여 불안한 부분이 있었습니다.

• virginie (10/5): top accueil et propreté et emplacement - A 2 pas du tram et du train ..stratégique pour visiter Florence. Chambres confortables et la douche était bien chaude après une journée de visite..ça fait du bien de se détendre. L'accueil est top. La dame nous a gardé nos bagages car la chambre était disponible qu'à 14h ... ultra propre .. parfait pour visiter Florence tt en étant près du tram pr repartir pr aéroport... Un peu de bruit de la rue car nous ne sommes pas habitués, chez nous à la campagne il n'y a aucun bruit ..mais c'est un avis subjectif car forcement nous sommes tous différents concernant notre tolérance au bruit.

Our room was cold and television didn’t work the whole time we were there. It didn’t offer the convenience of 24 hour person at front desk.

The elevator is very slow and is only be used for bags. The hotel is in the third floor and there are a lot of steps. Older people or small children may struggle.

• DARIOLETA (8/5): - Alojamiento en un antiguo edificio justo al lado de la estación y a cinco minutos del Duomo. La calle es tranquila de noche y segura, justo debajo en la puerta está uno de los restaurantes más famosos de Florencia. Las camas y almohadas son cómodas y la habitación está limpia. El baño es pequeño pero funcional. Todo lo que necesitas para patear la ciudad y descansar por la noche. Tiene una nevera en la habitación y no se escuchan ruidos del exterior. No deja de ser un alojamiento tipo "fonda" pero con habitaciones y baños privados. Quizás habrá personas que les parezca antiguo, pero a nosotros no nos importó.

• Christine (8/5): Pleasant staff, a/c eventually worked well, old quirky building, decent place to stay. - We were able to check in late with instructions left for us which was nice not to worry about arriving late. In the morning we met the staff and paid the city fee and they were very nice. The room had ...character. High ceilings, tile floor. The tiles were loose in a few places though and sometimes there were dips in the floor. You could tell it was very old in a charming way but also a little bit of fear something may break. All was fine though. The a/c was very important but it took about 4 hours to actually cool down so initial arrival late at night resulted in lying on the bed with sweat pouring off us. But it worked to cool the room [and us] down eventually. We were also able to keep our bags in the office there for a few hours after we checked out which was very nice. It was difficult to drag suitcases over the cobblestones and it was not quite as close to the train station as I had thought. It is still very close just not the greatest walk late at night. The a/c did not cool the room down for several hours as it was off when we arrived and it was 104F that day. I also feel the need to mention the elevator. So...they have one and that is great but it is the slowest elevator I have experienced and one person w/ luggage fits on there at a time. I was worried the first time any of us used it b/c my [adult] child went up and we were waiting at the bottom with no word from them. It was long enough for us to get worried and then call them on their cell only to find out they were still moving in the elevator and only on the second floor [rooms are on the 3rd floor]. So...just good to be aware and not be worried.

Many things are within walking distance (if you like walking). There was not anything that I did not like.

• Mary (8/5): Overall, we really enjoyed staying at the Bellevue which used to be a convent. You had both old and new amenities. Our r - The location was a 5-8 mins walk from the train station. There were amazing restaurants to either side of the hotel and even had a wine window across the street. You can walk to the river and enjoy the beautiful sunset and easy walk to the food market hall and plaza in the city center.

• Craig (8/5): Great location, near the Duomo, and other restaurants, shops and museums, in safe environment. - The location was perfect for walking to major attractions, and tucked away enough, to explore back streets and other shops and restaurants. Also, the hotel was only 5-10 minutes from the main train station. There were several restaurants nearby that offer good food at a value. About two blocks away is an excellent bakery (The Bakery) for breakfast that was recommended. Get there before 9 AM on the weekdays. The owner also gave us the option to leave our bags on a day trip and for dinner after our check out. There is luggage storage store nearby too, if you need. There were lots of stairs, but did not mind. The elevator is really for 1-2 people with minimal luggage, and slowly makes its way to the third floor.

Welcoming hosts. - We chose this hotel due to its location, close to SNM Station, and the many excellent reviews, both of which we agree with. Luciano and Susan are fabulous hosts, showing great care of their guests. Our room was large, quiet and well appointed, with a comfortable bed. Air conditioning was available, but we found we needed neither additional heating or cooling. The bathroom was spotless, as was the room itself, which was surprisingly large for such an old building. The shower was hot. We cannot fault this hotel, and would happily return and recommend. We were happy with everything provided. Perhaps some coffee and a bit of milk, but this doesn’t seem to be a norm we’ve found in Italy so far .

The appartment was close to the station making it more convenient for us to visit siena and pisa. I would recommend and definitely come back for my future visit in Florence. There was only one small elevator that is slow and shared with other establishments, however, we didn't really encounter an issue during our stay.

The property is on the third floor however there is a small lift, big enough for two, hilariously slow but hey you are on holiday. Would recommend. Nothing.

We had a room with a view on the main road on the third floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. From our window we could look directly to the historical pharmacy created in 1221 just on the other site of the road! The location is just 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and the historical church of Santa Maria Novella and the Piazza with the same name with restaurants and coffee shops. Great location for travelers by the train!! Only 12 minutes walking distance from the city center and all the historical monuments, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The furniture and equipment of our room was old but correct. The bathroom also, but in good condition. Difficult access on the third floor with a lot of stairs. There is a very slow elevator that can help, but the cabin is too narrow... There are access numbers for the main entrance, the elevator, magnetic key, electrical door with button, etc. A litle bit complicated... You should note all these on a paper and keep them on you, and not just have them on your mobile. If you find yourself in the night with an empty phone battery from taking pictures and the use of google map for directions then you could find yourself in a unpleasant situation...
