• Bodo (10/5): Ein sehr angenehmer und leider viel zu kurzer Aufenthalt - Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen. Mir wurde von der Gastgeberin der "persönliche" Parkplatz vor dem Haus für die Dauer meiner Urlaubsreise überlassen und der kürzeste Weg zum Flughafen erklärt. Im Zimmer gab es inclusive Kaffee, Bier und Snacks.

It is quite close to the terminals, easy way wit - Close to airport, nice beds, comfy The stairs are steep, you have to accept that and leave the luggage in the first floor or carry it up to second floor. Third floor is nearly impossible with the small staircase.

• Irma (3/5): Niet aan te raden - 3 minuten van station Weeze. Schoon, eigen douche en toilet. Er was geen airco. De locaties en aantal stopcontacten voor devices schieten tekort, ontvangst was niet prettig. Afmetingen kamer erg krap, geen bedlamp, alleen groot licht.
• Fra Me (9/5): - Ich war so froh mit dieser Wohnung! Nicht nur die Nähe zum Flughafen war einfach nicht zu toppen, sondern sie war auch noch super gemütlich eingerichtet und mit Allem, was man so braucht. Es handelt sich um den ausgebauten Spitzboden eines alten Hauses mit sehr steilen Treppen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Besitzerin hat mich sehr freundlich begrüßt. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier definitiv. Würde ich immer wieder buchen. Nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt, weil ich so ein Sicherheitsfetischist bin. Vielleicht könnte man noch Rauchmelder installieren und oben in der Wohnung einen kleinen Feuerlöscher anbringen.

• Rudolf (9/5): Wahrscheinlich die herzlichste Gastgeberin der Welt - Als jemand, der bei Ankunft an einem Urlaubsziel immer noch ein wenig "wurlat" ist, war es sehr angenehm, dass ich freundlich empfangen wurde und durch die Unterkunft mit all seinen Features geführt wurde. Überhaupt soll hier erwähnt werden, dass die Gastgeberin dieser Unterkunft sehr herzlich, bemüht und unkompliziert ist - großer Pluspunkt! Auch die Schlüssel selbst sind intuitiv, sodass man auch mit wenig Licht das Schlüsselloch findet. (ich sage das, weil das nicht selbstverständlich ist) Die Lage war für mich, der am Flughafen ankommt (ÖPNV/10 min. entfernt) und auf eine Messe will (ÖPNV/15 min. entfernt), perfekt. Die Unterkunft liegt nämlich genau dazwischen. Allgemein kann man zur Lage sagen, dass sie ein multimodaler Traum ist - Ob Bus, Bahn, Auto oder Fahrrad - eine ideale Reise ist hier vorprogrammiert! Auch ist die Gegend um die Unterkunft eher ruhiger, aber es fehlt trotzdem infrastruktuell nichts - Post, Apotheke, gute Restaurants, Lebensmittelhandel und Kiosk findet man "ums Eck". Die Unterkunft selbst heißt hier zu Recht "Studio Apartment" - man findet hier alles vor, was man braucht um den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten: Esstisch mit zwei Stühlen, Wohnzimmer-Ecke mit Couch und Fernseher, Küchenbereich mit Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, ..., aber auch das Bad mit Wannen-Dusche ist top! Mir persönlich hat alles gefallen (!), möchte hier aber für andere Reisende wichtige Hinweise und für die Gastgeberin ein paar Ideen hier lassen: - Die Treppe rauf in die Unterkunft ist sehr schmal - der Koffer sollte nicht zu groß sein und vor allem nicht zu schwer, sonst wird es ein alpiner Aufstieg mitten in Düsseldorf! - Die Unterkunft hat viele Dachschrägen - auch im Schlafbereich. Wenn man das nicht kennt, könnte man sich beim Aufstehen den Schädel anhauen. (Aktuell sind zwei Betten am linken und rechten Rand unter den Dachschrägen platziert - hier könnte man vielleicht stattdessen ein großes Bett mit Nachttisch platzieren um die Dachschrägen zu "entschärfen"? Als Garderobe gibt es aktuell nur eine lange Garderobenstange. Hier wäre eine kleine Kommode (wie aktuell rechts neben der Küche) unter der Garderoben-Dachschräge in Kombination mit einer etwas kürzeren Garderobenstange hilfreich - nimmt nicht zusätzlich Platz weg und man kann in den Laden gut Ober-/Unterbekleidung, Socken etc. reingeben) und oben Dinge für Draußen rauflegen)

• Zara (10/5): Super praktische und günstig gelegene Unterkunft, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. - Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und freundlich. Alles war wie erwartet. Uns war es wichtig, dass wir den Flughafen gut und schnell erreichen können. Wir konnten sogar hinlaufen.
• Silke (8/5): Für die Nacht vor einem frühen Abflug absolut empfehlenswert - Das Appartment ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gut gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar einen Kaffee konnte man morgens kochen. Die Begrüßung war freundlich. Und die Lage ist top, wenn man zum Flughafen muss. Vom Hbf gut mit der Straßenbahn erreichbar. Zum Flughafen bin ich zu fuß gelaufen. Das Haus ist abends draußen schlecht beleuchtet, ich habe zunächst die Klingel nicht gefunden. Die Treppe zum Schlaf- /Wohnraum ist eng und sehr steil.

• Mr. Lindyhop (9/5): Günstige Unterkunft mit sehr guter Verkehrsanbindung. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin - Ich bin zum 3. Mal in dieser Unterkunft gewesen. Wie immer: Alles einwandfrei. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die auch zu späteren Stunde für die Schlüsselübergabe da ist. Sehr saubere Unterkunft. An heissen Tagen ist die Klimaanlage ein grosser Vorteil. Sehr nahe zur nächsten Tramstation (ca. 200m). Obwohl der Flughafen sehr nahe ist, ist die Unterkunft in der Nacht sehr ruhig. Und auch am Tag ist bei geschlossenen Fenster der Flugverkehr kaum hörbar und bei offenen Fenster immer noch unter dem Geräuschpegel von Strassenlärm. Lässt sich baulich nicht ändern, aber hier nur zur Info: Dusche, WC und Wasserhahn ist ein Stockwerk tiefer. Die Parksituation in Düsseldorf ist natürlich schrecklich. In dem Quartier, in welchem die Ferienwohnung liegt, ist täglich ein eingeschränktes Halteverbot von 11:00 - 15:00 - woran sich allerdings niemand hält.

• Georgios (8/5): Nice short visit - Nice clean comfortable cozy apartment to spend a night or two if you need to be close to the airport. Watch your head though as it's a loft with low ceilings. Bathroom is located at a level under accessible by a steep narrow stair, same stair to enter the apartment so there is no easy access to water if you need to wash something for example and a visit to the bathroom in the middle of the night is not a pleasant job

There is no place to hang the shower and I have to shower while holding the shower by hand. There is no curtain in the bathroom, so the toilet gets wet.

The toilet seemed to have an underlying smell that wasn't visible until I scrub under the rim. The grime was creating a really bad odor even though everything looked clean on the surface. There also isn't a kitchen available, but she provides an electric pan to cook.

• Fiona (9/5): Superb - Lovely loft apartment with a mini kitchen. Lots of natural light streaming in and great wifi. I stayed one night and walked to the airport for my early morning flight. (Tool me about 30 mins with my bags) The owner was lovely and I would stay there again. Not a negative but something to be aware of is the narrow stairs which for me was challenging with my heavy bags.

• Andrew (9/5): Great, Convenient, Quiet Stay near the airport with nice and helpful hosts! - The location is 15 minutes walk to the airport, but very quiet at the same time. The owner was very nice and helpful, and there to greet me, and make sure I had everything I needed. Perfect for what I was looking for, and I would gladly stay again. The only issue was carrying my big luggage up the stairs, but that wasn't a huge issue, as everything else was perfect.
• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was vey helpful and friendly. The place is nice, big, clean and comfortable and very close to the airport. I was glad I booked this since there was a sudden bus, train and tram strike on the day of my flight, so there was no way I could get public transport to the airport. But I was could reach the airport easily withou transport, since it was a short 12 to 15-Minute walk. I liked everything. But note to travellers, the stairs are steep, so carrying big heavy bags may be a challenge. I recommend preparing a small bag of the stuff you need. You can leave the big bags at the hallway of the house and just carry the stuff for your stay.
• Remek (8/5): I recommend this apartment, especially for families who need to reach Dusseldorf Airport - super clean, super nice owner, very modern and spacy, however not recommended for very tall people over 192cm, due to low attic ceiling not easy to find the place because address and google map localizations is different with real address of this places
• Jordan (8/5): Very comfortable short-term stay - I tried a code I had received with my booking confirmation on the lockbox but it didn't work so I had to call the host. Fortunately she was on property and was able to let me right in. There was no porchlight so I was thankful my phone was charged to allow me to see the lockbox, and I was also really glad I had a local sim card to I could use my mobile to phone her. The host let me in and gave me a quick tour, and she spoke enough english that I had no trouble understanding. The small apartment was accessed by a steep little staircase with very small steps, but it was only a couple of short flights up - a breeze compared to most stays in old European homes. The apartment was pleasantly furnished and immaculate, with lots of windows and natural light. There was a small fridge, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle, as well as a small assortment of cups, plateware and utensils. Plus an assortment of coffees and teas, which was really appreciated. The bed was only a twin size but the mattress and bedding were very comfortable and I slept extremely well. The private bathroom was also very nice. The shower head was hung at waist level and there was no shower curtain, so it was a little bit of a challenge to shower without getting the floor wet, but the bath tub was very deep and I enjoyed a nice hot bath after my long flight. I was disappointed that there was no hot plate (or I didn't find it), especially since I'd just gotten in on an international flight and was too tired to find a grocery market, but I managed to make some instant soup I had with me thanks to the electric kettle and bowls supplied. Taller folks should be aware that the sloped ceilings make it a bit hard to avoid bumping your head occasionally. All in all it's a terrific place for a brief stay, and could only be improved by a hotplate and a bedside table lamp.

• Maha (8/5): Nice place to stay in, welcoming host - Clean, tidy, spacious, modern furnished apartment, very quiet area so that you can sleep in peace, fully equipped with all the facilities required, good wifi signal and comfortable bed. Great location, only 2 minutes walk to the city tram which takes you directly to city center and very close to the airport. Only one bus stop takes you there. I loved the whole upstairs environment, it was so cosy, with the wooden rods standing in the middle, being an attic and especially when I used the candles at night. It makes you feel you live in an old era! Thanks for the biscuits, milk and chocolate bars put in the refrigerator. You final all the basic supplies you need (trash bags, tissues, enough toilet papers, antiseptic wipes everywhere, candles, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, even sanitary pads) as if you are at your own home. The host "Sabine" is so polite who was so kind to let me in earlier and even was generous to let me have a one hour later check out. Although good check in experience explined by herself in pictures but she came in person just to say hello and check I am comfortable, much appreciated , prompt reply to my inquiries. Thanks The studio apartment was very cold at night despite the fact that I left the heater on (it was working). I was shaking although I had all my clothes on. I think the room is big with no carpet or mat there may be? I raised it, Sabine checked it and thought it's the maximum heating. It was still an issue for me. There was a strong "Levender smell" when you go to the toilet (not upstairs) which was a bit irritating to me (I am allergic to this smell) may be not an issue to others. The stairs was so steepy so be careful when going with luggage and especially when you go down to the toilet.
