• Denise (10/5): Perfect - We arrived at villa janaliya and the owners told us the room was double booked but they could arrange something. We were given a room at the other hotel they are running so actually this is a review on blue saffire resort. We were stunned by the beauty luxury and comfort of the hotel. It has an amazing pool, dreamy clean and comfortable rooms and super friendly staff who Will make sure youre not short on anything. Unfortunatly we could only stay for one night but it was a great one. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautifull place. Everything was perfect
• Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Where do we start?! We were welcomed to Villa Janaliya by the whole family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was all we wanted. We have found this to be the general rule for Sri Lankan hospitality, but at Villa Janaliya; it was another level again. Nothing was too much trouble. They helped us book days out, get the best prices, gave guidance about where to go and what to eat. They were responsive, spoke excellent English and the entire family were super kind and helpful. We had countless lessons in Sri Lankan cuisine and were given some wonderful meals, which has encouraged us to go on and start to learn about cooking Sri Lankan food for ourselves. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach, which have a selection of restaurants and bars. There are small shops close by for essentials and a train and bus stop within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The nearby towns of Bentota and Aluthgama are easy to get to on the bus or train, they are busy and bustling. The family also own the adjacent hotel, which has a gorgeous pool and well equipped, air conditioned gym, which we had access to and used most days. We cannot recommend Villa Janaliya highly enough, we're already looking forward to returning. Thank you. That we couldn't stay longer!
• Yauheni (10/5): Exceptional - We rented the whole villa with friends. Separate entrances, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. Very kind hosts. They always helped with everything and asked if anything was needed.
