• Robert (9/5): Good business hotel in Düren - Modern, comfortable & well maintained in a very quiet but somewhat industrial area. Rooms are not large, but have a comfortable size, good WiFi, are spotlessly clean & well accessible. Good, no-frills breakfast. The reception is only staffed during working hours - after that, it is an electronic key safe to retrieve the room keycard. The surrounding area is quiet deserted at night, as this is a business / industrial zone.

• Carlo (8/5): Very good - The apartment at Hotel Burgholz was a great place, very comfortable and clean, with plenty of windows and daylight, and all the necessary for using the kitchen. Parking was also available, and the place got cleaned every day. The location was not ideal in my case, as all my points of interests were overall a bit more south, but it is less than 1 h from many different places (e.g. Aachen, Bonn, Cologne, Eifel national park, Monschau), so it's not bad if you want to explore the area and don't mind some driving. Also, the closest restaurants or groceries shops are in the close towns of Duren or Kreuzau, about 15 min by car. But there is a nice cafè-bakery at 5 min walk from the hotel

• Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Eifel region and the cities of Cologne and Aachen. The hosts were knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. We had a lovely meal at Mediterana, Italian food. Highly recommend. Traffic noise in distance.

The breakfast was outstanding and tremendous value. Nothing comes to mind!
