Guest Reviews
- camilla (10/5): We had a great three night stay. I can’t fault it: - The location was great as it is quiet yet you can easily get to the bus stop where there are frequent buses. The view is lovely and the staff friendly. The interconnecting room as you can hear people but luckily it was not an issue as they were not noisy.
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Susanne (9/5): - Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage mit wunderschönem Blick von den Terassen und im Restaurant. Gutes Restaurant. Bad schon etwas älter.
- Aileen (9/5): - Second time we have stayed here. Perfect location. Very friendly staff

- Catherine (10/5): - The view was lovely and we liked the fact that we could choose wether to have breakfast or not,
and up to 10 am. I realise there's nothing you can do about it but the room was a bit small. Also the access to the
hotel was really tricky and parking difficult with small spaces.
- Chris (9/5): -
- Felicity (9/5): -
- Dovile (9/5): Left a positive impression - Location, views, garden, pool, breakfast, personnel. Some things in the hotel were dated, needed a repair. Though in general I was satisfied about the stay 🌸
- Shona (10/5): Lovely relaxing few days in jersey . My first time visiting and will definitelybe back and would certainly stay in The C - Friendly staff who went above and beyond . Cathy at the front desk was lovely and exceptionally helpful.

- Jonathan (7/5): Lovely stay, expensive and needs updating. - The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful regardless of their role. Hotel was clean and tidy throughout. and with a lovely view and balcony. We had very windy weather and the windy howled around the bathroom air vent which was so loud I found it difficult to sleep on all nights. The wind can not be controlled by the hotel but the ventilation can be. The rooms were very stuffy at night but the hotel has no air conditioning. I could not have stayed there mid summer!! The Restaurant we felt was over priced.
- Kathy (10/5): We had two nights and it was great highly recommend - Loved our room had a great sea view, very quiet and comfortable
- Celine (8/5): -
- Beatrice (7/5): Lovely Break, great location, the food was nice, the only downside was no air con - Location, the staff were amazing No air con
- Floris (10/5): Heerlijk hotel op mooie locatie - Prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt, goed personeel, fijn zwembad
- Inge (9/5): - Dir Lage des Hotels ist außergewöhnlich schön mit Blick auf die St Aubins Bay. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
- Dawn (8/5): Apart from the restaurant manager staff were absolutely excellent. - Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices and quality was good. At 8pm on the Sunday on returning to the hotel restaurant manager was very dismissive when I asked if I could get some food.
I had to order food to my room which was disappointing as it was a beautiful evening to sit on the terrace, where there was empty tables.
- Joanna (10/5): Excellent stay cation, looking forward to returning - Really comfy bed, lovely view and great staff No hot food at 5pm
- emmanuel (8/5): Bel hôtel - L'emplacement, le personnel, la propreté des lieux, le petit-déjeuner. Problèmes de bruit: chambre voisine et restaurant .
- Howard (10/5): Really relaxing - Lovely pool great food excellent location
- Carole (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast, location, views, amazing bus service in Jersey
- Alan (7/5): Disappointing. - Comfortable, clean, well maintained. Good location. Staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. I contacted the hotel to ask whether they could provide a gluten free breakfast (I am coeliac). I was assured that they could. I checked again on arrival and it was again confirmed. At breakfast next morning I was told that the gluten free bread had not been delivered that morning. GF bread delivery. Sunday morning. Before 0800. In Jersey…
Next morning, no GF bread, but they do have crackers. I’d come prepared with bread this time and asked if they had a dedicated GF toaster in the kitchen. No, they do it in a Salamander (industrial grill, apparently). Is it dedicated GF? No… Never heard of cross contamination, I guess.
If you can’t do it, and do it properly, please be honest about it.

- Nancy (9/5): Relaxing and stress free. - Everything was perfect.
The staff were friendly and efficient.
Our room was clean and well maintained. A flickering light bulb was replaced immediately.
The views from the dining room and our room were spectacular.
Large car park. The only disappointment was the vegetarian main course that we requested for dinner, on our first night, although delicious, was very small.
- Beryl (7/5): Good - Comfortable room with nice view. Long wait to be served even a drink in the restaurant.
- Brumpton (9/5): Superb -

- Nikki (7/5): Good -
- Milan (4/5): Nice but very expensive for what we got - Good view No air conditioning and the hotel is a bit tired
- Marguerite (10/5): Overall we had an excellent stay in Jersey. - The hotel had spectacular views and the staff were all brilliant and very friendly. The parking in Jersey is terrible, there are too many different parking systems. It needs looking into, as visitors struggle to understand it.
- John (7/5): enjoyable peaceful stay but breakfasts could be improved. - beautiful gardens and position. Lovely staff. breakfast not great. Juices, cereals etc poor. Toast rubbery.
- Walklate (8/5): Nice find - The views are spectacular from the terrace on a sunny day! We were fortunate to get views from our rooms as well. Staff are warm welcoming and friendly. The rooms are adequate my only negative is they are on the small side and they have crammed too much furniture in them. Negatives - No AC in the rooms and also there is no lift!
- Christine (10/5): Very enjoyable relaxing stay. - Location. Views from hotel.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Fabulous view from bedrooms Access from road
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (8/5): Enjoyable and pleasant - Clean and efficient good location Entrance a little tricky

Restaurant was awesome

- Margaret (9/5): Great hotel, wish we’d stayed longer! - Very friendly staff, great pool although it was very cold (it was October, and we were warned!)
Lovely delicious dinner
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pritam (7/5): Good -
- Mike (9/5): Excellent, restful and quiet surroundings day and night. Would strongly recommend. - location and free upgrade for seaview The swimming pool was cold, but understand that heating switched off at end of September and with climate change concerns . Some guests felt that for a couple more weeks and with such hot weather may have been put on again. However, still such a lovely spot to sit out and relax.
- Mark (10/5): Perfect hotel, came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint - Fabulous staff at all points from reception, the cleaners, bar and catering staff, perfect Nothing
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. View was amazing. Bar area was lovely. Most of the staff had great attitudes. Bath towels were a great size. No fridge in the room. The bathroom room 115 had a faint smell of drains. The Sunday roast was very poor - the meat was excellent but the veg looked like they had been cooked earlier in the day and had been reheated. They weren’t hot and the Yorkshire puddings were inedible. We asked for new ones but the second lot were the same. Again looked like they had been reheated. Perhaps eating at 630 pm was not such a good idea.
- Cameron (10/5): Would recommend - Staff were all extraordinarily helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Excellent view from the dining area. Tasty and reasonably priced afternoon tea. This property doesn’t have air conditioning. At this time of year that wasn’t an issue but it could be a problem for some during summer.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (10/5): Excellent - Staff were so lovely. Very hot but no their fault. Especially at night
- Lydia (9/5): Family break - The elevated position of the hotel was perfect with lovely views across the bay and beyond The weather was so hot the rooms were stifling air con or fans would be ideal
- Clare (10/5): Beautiful, hospitable and comfortable. - Kind and friendly staff, astonishingly beautiful views, excellent food, massive comfy bed and the place was spotless. Nothing
- John (9/5): Very nice hotel - Nice clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff Asked for rooms close together but they weren’t but otherwise no problems
- Burling (10/5): Amazing hotel - Each staff member we came across were friendly and helpful. The location was great and the views were amazing. Food choices were good and tasted lovely. We've booked again for next year. I can't think of anything we didn't like at the hotel. Everything was spot on.
- Laurence (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): It was a pleasure to be at your hotel - It was really nice place and location was good The time for breakfast
- Diana (10/5): Beautiful location with exceptional staff - Breathtaking view of the sea from high above with glorious gardens lining the stonewalled paths around the property. The outdoor seating, the inside couches and dining areas were all great. Recommend it highly!
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Ronald (9/5): Very enjoyable. - Very good. I thought the room was slightly small for the money and wardrobe wasn't adequate, half of it couldn't be used as safe and shelf unit in the way .The safe would be better on the shelf above.
- Jones (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Jane (9/5): Our stay was very enjoyable and would certainly come back. - The room was lovely but the view could have been better as it was obscured by trees. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the hotel very much and there are no complaints as far as we are concerned.
- Jj (9/5): Excellent stay - Excellent location
Excellent food
Excellent staff The entrance off the road is very tricky, especially coming uphill !
- Lynn (9/5): The best views on Jersey - First return visit for a few years, but the hotel was as wonderful as ever. The situation and views are amazing and the staff simply couldn't be friendlier, even those that are not 'customer facing' such as the cleaners. We ate in the restaurant every evening and the meals were, without exception, attractive and tasty. The only damp squib was the shower..... It was under powered, no matter how much you fiddled with the controls.
- Ellie (8/5): Very good -
- Kev (9/5): Superb - Fried eggs at breakfast - need to be covered end up overcooked under the lights
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything staff were fantastic food brill pool was a little bit cold but it's a out side pool so can't complain
- Anthony (9/5): Most enjoyable and relaxing. - Excellent choice and great view. Terrible background music.
