Guest Reviews
- PATRICK (9/5): Parma séjour agréable - Emplacement central dans petite rue tranquille. Appartement spacieux et lumineux avec petite terrasse.
Très propre. Ascenseur. Très bon accueil. Gare à 20mn à pieds. sortie recommandée " piazza dalla chiesa"
- Ricchiuti (9/5): - Appartamento pulito e curato. Posizione eccellente

- Elisa (9/5): Apartamento acogedor para unos días de vacaciones - La ubicación excelente, el apartamento grande y muy cómodo, bastantes complementos de cocina como sal, azúcar, aceite, café. Bien equipado.

- Verga (10/5): Exceptional - Nice location! The apartment is very comfortable with 2 rooms! There is a small lift for old people! The owner is very accomodating.
The location is perfect It is in the center. The towels were over used already.
- Pascal (8/5): Very good location, lots of space, but it would need to be refreshed to match the price tag... - Old furniture - the place needs to be refresh, especially for this price tag
- Vyacheslav (7/5): Good - LOCATION!!!👍👍👍👍👍
The apartment is clean and bright👍 No air conditioning🙈, especially in July-August forget about it 😭
Old sockets, we had problems with connecting to most of the sockets 🙈
Every morning is quite noisy, between 6-7 am, (they wash the streets and remove the garbage)🙈
- Anne (9/5): Very nice apartment great location. We enjoyed our stay there a lot. I would stay there again. - Great location. Nice apartment layout. Comfortable beds. Good internet. Kettle not provided. When requested it was provided but the plug didn't fit. No microwave. At the end of the day it wasn't a bit deal.
- Camila (10/5): The best place to stay in Parma! - Everything was amazing! The apartment is spacious and the location is perfect to visit Parma! Very well decorated, big kitchen and bathroom. Very clean! We had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the sweet balcony with a view to the local life!
We asked for an extra fan and 30 minutes later it was there! Mauro was the best host, always there to answer any question. We recommend the place to anyone who want to have a nice time in Parma! We knew already that there is no air conditioner so it was no surprise. Just keep in mind that during the summer it can be pretty hot in Parma! We were happy to have the fans.
- Fabio (7/5): Good - Mauro was friendly host
- Claire (9/5): Fabulous city apartment - Lovely spacious apartment, easily accessible to the main part of the city. Right next to a fantastic seafood shop and green grocers if you don't want to eat out every night. The cafe bar opposite the apartment building serves excellent pastries and coffee in the morning and is owned by a family with a vineyard in Sicily, so the wine is good too! The only thing that could have been better was the shower, but that was down to water pressure and hardly a deal breaker.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): I’m very happy with the value of what we paid and what we got. - loved the balcony
- Antonia (8/5): Very good - - super close to the historical centre
- everything was clean
- Mauro ( our host)
was really kind to us - it was very noisy, you can hear everything from the small street below
- there is no parking space available near the apartment but the big parking Toschi is just 5 minutes away.
- Robert (8/5): Great location, well-equipped, noisy. - Spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and very nice bedding--crisp sheets and comforter (but see below about pillows). We loved having a small balcony overlooking the street below and had coffee there in the morning and cheese and wine and one dinner on the balcony. Luckily we also had great weather. We also loved the great location--easy access to major sights, a produce market right below on the piazza, and two grocery stores close by. Be forewarned, however, that there's a price to pay for the location: the apartment is extremely noisy at night with a couple of cafes on the narrow street right below our window. We had to close the windows even though it was warm and wear ear plugs. Even at that it was almost impossible to get to sleep before midnight. And then trash collection started at around 5:30. That said, we'd likely book it again because of the central location. Just pack ear plugs and expect that the centers of medieval cities are going to be noisy. Several points: There was no tourist information in the room. When we asked the young man who manages the apartment about maps etc, he said the last guests must have taken the map. These kinds of small amenities are very important when one just arrives for the first time. Most Air BnBs we have stayed in have a binder with suggestions for restaurants, nearby grocery stores, how to work the TV, and--important--how to recycle. There was none of that information in the apartment. While the manager gave us some restaurant suggestions, he didn't know, when we asked about a grocery store, there is a small Carrefour grocery store right around the corner in the piazza where the apartment is located nor that there is a wonderful all-purpose grocery (like a Fresh Fields) about two blocks away--Dintorni--where you can buy delicious prepared foods along with every other item needed.
The apartment was very comfortable, but all of the pillows were excessively soft. There should be an assortment of pillows offered for guests' preferences. I ended up using a couch cushion under a pillow.
Two recommendations: 1) Include a booklet of tourist information and maps. Definitely include recycling information. We had no idea how to separate for recycling even though there were two cans available under the sink. 2) Make an assortment of pillows available. An extra blanket would also be helpful (I wanted to sleep on the couch since the bedroom noise made sleeping so difficult.)
- Amartuvshin (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Good host and overall good place to stay! - the location, decor and space was great. loved the balcony great to have a small outside space! There was only one key. the shower curtain was not the cleanest as it had mold spots on it. The kitchen could have been better equipped e.g. a microwave. The dishwasher didn’t work for the whole week although we were compensated for it, it was a bit annoying. Instructions on where to put rubbish/ recycling is needed.
- Romina (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very central and Mauro the person who let us in was so helpful and kind during all our stay. Could not think of a better location to stay. Alla Prossima!!!
- Lily (9/5): Large Apartment in a good location. - Great location and good size for 4 people. Easy to find and we were met and shown around the apartment It would have been nice to have some written information about Parma - things that might be interesting and recommendations for places to eat, markets, getting around on buses and trains.
- Miloslav (9/5): Superb - The greatest advantage of the accommodation is its locality. It is situated in the centre and so close to everything. The apartment is spacious and the apartment has everything you need for a few days stay. The apartment is without air conditioning (but this is the norm in the central Parma) and so it was hot (outside temperature was up to 39 degrees, so inside we had temperature 29 - 33 degrees whole day). Two big fans were provided which helped. Italians are noisy even around midnight and early morning there are street cleaning machines making a lot of noise. But this is not a problem of just this apartment. If you want to live in central Parma I assume you will face it everywhere.
