• Ann-Mari (8/5): - Hus med allt du kan önska. Två sviter och en social våning. Trädgård och terass. Gångavstånd till allt i den lilla byn. I november stänger nästan allt och bussen slutar gå. Ganska högljutt läge granne med skolan.

• Sasha (10/5): Amazing villa, 10 out of 10, would love go come back. - Great layout of villa, comfortable terrasse for eating outside, well equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms!!! Very comfy beds, high quality bed linen. It felt like home, didn’t want to leave. 5 min walk to the beach and tavernas. Was a bit noisy in the morning from the road, but it is solved by closing windows and turning on aircon.
• EGOR (10/5): - We are very happy with our choice. The house is perfectly located—just a 3–5 minute walk to the sea, shops, and tavernas. The bay itself is very beautiful, not crowded, yet with well-developed infrastructure. Excellent communication with the management company—quick, informative, and friendly. There is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. A wonderful terrace with mountain views that we never wanted to leave. Clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you for our wonderful holiday. Some things already require replacement or repair: the artificial grass outside, various small details inside the house (such as shower holders), and the sofas in the living room. This didn’t spoil the overall impression, but it’s definitely worth paying attention to.

Море близко, 5-7 минут. В бухте всегда можно купаться, даже когда на остальных пляжах шторм. В доме и на территории все как на фото. Ничего

• Ana-maria (10/5): Amazing stay - The house was equipped with everything you’ll need in the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, quite a large bed downstairs, blinds for making the light dim in the bright summer days, and also a terrace with stunning hill views. The house management was also really helpful and fast when we had a problem. We travelled with a toddler and it had a lot of entertainments and space for him to run around while we enjoyed a beer on the swing. Also another plus is the location, quite close to the main beach and at 20 min walks from two others. We had an amazing time! There were no things we didn’t like. Just maybe that we didn’t know we had to wash the sheets/towels ourselves. There is a service available for this but it’s under cost and you need to let them know beforehand.
• Meyerdirk (10/5): Everything we needed and more for a perfect vacation - Perfect for a family vacation. The villa has AC in every room, three bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and a large walled in garden terrace that is safe and fun for kids to play in. The blackout shutters were perfect for keeping out heat and light for early bedtimes or sleeping in! Any issue we had was handled quickly, kindly, and professionally by the management. The location is quiet and private but its just a short walk from the beach, a nearby hotel with a pool, friendly grocery store, car or boat rental, the shopping street, and restaurants. One challenge is the stairs. There is a narrow staircase from the street to the villa and both bedrooms are either up or down stairs from the kitchen/living room. Both inside sets of stairs has a door so babies are safe to play in the living room area but toddlers might need more attention going up and down the stairs.
• Ninon (9/5): Homey retreat with a welcoming atmosphere, ideally located and perfect for families. - As a family traveling around the world on a permanent basis, finding a place that feels like home is essential. Villa Misemeli provided exactly that. You can tell it was a family home before becoming a holiday retreat for travelers. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, everything is very welcoming, clean, and bright, and there are games and books for family enjoyment. The space comfortably accommodates a family of five. We were warmly welcomed by Antonis, who takes care of the house on behalf of its owner. When we had a minor incident, he was incredibly responsive and resolved it within 24 hours. He also connected us with Gabriel, which allowed us to rent a car during the low season when many places are closed. Thankfully, there are still amenities within walking distance, including a small supermarket, two butchers, a pharmacy, and two delicious tavernas. Plus, you can walk to the beach and enjoy the sunny weather of March and April. The highlights of the house include its spacious, luminous kitchen and open living area, two nice bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and a lovely terrace with a big table and shade, offering an open view of the mountains—a perfect place for enjoying breakfast and lunch outdoors. There's also a balcony on the first floor with another table, though the lack of shade made it less enjoyable. The small garden surrounding the house offers a nice playground for the kids even if it could use a bit more upkeep and improvement (the green carpet seems a bit cheap for such a pretty house and is quite hard to clean after strong winds, which can occur there). Villa Misemeli is ideally located and offers a comfortable, homey atmosphere that made our stay truly pleasant. It is a great place to stay off-season and just a short ride to Heraklion. We highly recommend it for families looking for a welcoming and well-situated holiday home. There are a few areas for improvement. Some items are old and showing wear (this may have been addressed after our departure as we left a note about it). The ping-pong table, while great for the kids, is quite old and weathered. Both long chairs outside were broken, and the living room sofas are saggy, with faded colors and uncomfortable for sleeping. We had to spend a night on one of them. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom could be replaced, and the upstairs spare bed is not suitable for a long stay as it becomes uncomfortable. These are minor issues that can be easily taken care of and did not detract from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
• Rodney (8/5): We had a very enjoyable and relaxing time and ended up staying far longer than expected. - The location of the apartment is superb in two respects; it has a big patio with a lovely view facing SE so gets the sun for most of the day which might be too much in high summer but later in the year is ideal. Second it is out from all the beach side congestion but under 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach. The semi-circular nature of the beach means that there is generally somewhere out of the wind wherever it is coming from. Several minimarkets, a chemist, baker and butcher all operate most days all year round and one taberna was open 4 nights a week even in mid-winter. Our stay was over the winter but the apartment is clearly well insulated and we only occasionally needed to put the heat on - via air conditioning units - and a short burst sufficed to take any chill away. Finally the managing agent was extremely good - responding to any queries or issues quickly and effectively. Although there were various, to us at least, 'exotic' pieces of cooking equipment there was no conventional toaster and the size of the pots and pans tended to be too large for our two person needs.
• Gudulastefan (10/5): Exceptional - It was a wonderful stay. The accommodation is located close to the beach (3-4 minutes walk) being located in a quiet area, close to the supermarket and local shops. At the accommodation you will find everything a family with children needs. It has 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a generous living room, and the kitchen is equipped with the necessary utensils to prepare any food. It includes a dishwasher. With the help of the air conditioning in each room and the external blinds, a cool atmosphere is created immediately. They also have a Netflix account and fun games for the family. The owners respond promptly to every request for information. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity. there are no things we didn't like
